Dear nairalanders (INEC staff)... The 28days will b coming HOPEFULLY (though not fully confirmed cos of logistics) by the first week of january... Actually, the delay was due to the fact that most states were having problem compiling ther own state staff names most xpecially the batch B's, so as a result didn't send there names to HQ on time... But info. Reachin me is that @least 95% of the states have complied and sent there names has @ 31st, currently nw the mandate has bin raised to pay the allowance (28days), of which is goin to pass via the dir. Of accounts office then the SECRETARY's office (for confirmation) and then straight to the bank, so u see it still has 2 offices to pass through (that's why I earlier said the hindrance where LOGISTICS).. But all dsame the Good news is that firstly CHAIRMAN(jega) gave a strict order that NO and I REPEAT NO INEC staff should have his or her salary or allowances, spilt over to this year, that's why d account and the subordinate departments are working tirelessly to see that all is done give or take lastest dis first week of d year, and secondly.. The 28 days won't b paid to us by our states or rather via our states it will b sent to us directly from abuja, that is why they concurrently earlier last year ask us for our account details... Good pple, I am sure I have given u peeps a Good heads up on d current situation... Remain blessed.. HAPPY NEW YEAR...

@snubak... I am not really sure for nw, when the new salary scale will kick start... Some rumours have it Will start by august, other are sayin earlier (june or july)... Nobody actually has a date for it...am sure d delay should b patterning the whole merging of departments, re-structuring of the already existing ones, retiring of some directors, also wit the newly employed staffs too (2nd batch too) and all..... All this takes time, and untill all these stuffs are sorted out.. I seriously don't think they will kick start d new salary scale.. But the fun part is that it will definately not pass the year's end... Let's all keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best... Cheers!!!!!

Good day good pple!!!! I have some good news for y'all!!!! First, concernin the 28days, i have bin informed (from quite reliable source,though not 100% credible) from d account dept. In HQ (abj), that JEGA (our oga @ d top) said his new staffs(Us) should b entitled to their 28days, though no date has bin stipulated yet for the payment, but as he said all hands are on deck to ensure we are bein paid d allowance, but NOTE : the 28days will b accordin to our levels from grade level 16-grade level 8, ( i don't knw the strata in which that is measured though) but will definately find out what that means....
Secondly ( the GREAT news)!!! Concernin our SPECIAL SALARY SCALE, i am pleased to inform u that the senate has finally approved it ( from a very very reliable source).... The senator representing our commission (senator Andy uba) senate. Committee chairman on electoral matters, specifically said in a couple of months that d special salary scale would b implemented....
Lastly, ( THE BIG ONE).. D new salary scale for grade level 8 and grade level 9 would be 220k and 268k respectively aside TAX and all... And wit xclusion of TAX and the pension stuff, it will drop to like 185k-190k for grade level 8 and 210-220k for grade level 9 respectively....yeap!!!!!!!! So folks, pls keep the candle lights burning cos ur immense prayers have gradually begin to take effects.... Remain blessed....

UPDATE: Info. Reaching me (CONFIRMED) that professionals should from tomorrow (10th of april) xpecting text messages for postings and all... GOD BLESS...

Good day, good pple... Reports reaching me (though fully unconfirmed) that all professionals will indeed b posted by next week unfailing.. All though, my source refused to gimme info. Concernin where our induction would b... but also said our salary will count from d day (I REPEAT ON D DAY) we received our APPOINTMENT LETTER... The source further buttressed on d delay, that it was as a result of d new re-organization goin on presently in INEC... I will definately bring more news concernin other areas, as it reaches Me.. @kingscollege, Unfelt is right we are not all registration officers, for professionals (engineers, lawyers and system analyst/system engineers) they haven't bin posted yet, am a professional so to say, and we where told @ our secreteriat that professionals would b posted much later... NOTE: if u had noticed most professionals (90%) didnt receive any text msg, on postings and all.. But according to info. Reaching me, (unconfirmed).. Professionals should b xpecting their text msg's probably dis weekend or beggining of next week (monday or so).. Also heard (unconfirmed) that they are likely to b posted to either fed. Capital (abuja) or their state capital's head uaters..... CHEERS!!!!

Nuttin is happenin in the head uaters for nw... But information reachin me (unconfirmed)..that JEGA ( our chairman).. Just came back from an abroad trip on thursday.. And he is in abuja nw... That probably dis week or so.. We should be xpecting to here from INEC...

I did my documentation, like some weeks back.. We where actually called on via text msg, to go our states (inec state uaters).. For screening and documentation... As for why i am in abj, i am based here ( live here)..
