Education / Re: ASUU Strike: A Lecturer Speaks by Rotimigabriel(m): 3:11am On Oct 15, 2013
uceee: When the Yaradua led government signed the ASUU-FG 2009 agreement, they never really intended to implement it. ASUU had been on strike for a long time, so they just wanted the lecturers and students to go back to school.
A glance through that agreement will make it immediately obvious to you that it is not practical. Unfortunately, ASUU have refused to re-negotiate.

That is what people don't understand. ASUU keeps tellin us dat fg signed d agreement freely where as they av forgotten dat ASUU was on strike and infact, d strike was in its fourth month when d agreement was signed. ASUU has shown dat they don't av d interest of student at heart. Students in anatomy and co are payin dearly for this strike. Who among them will allow his or her white rat to die without defence of its project?
Education / Re: ASUU Holds Street Rallies In Onitsha And Awka. by Rotimigabriel(m): 9:42pm On Oct 14, 2013
alexleo: Agreement is agreement. FG must honour the agreement they signed with them. All this one you people are making here against ASUU is just noise that cannot help you. If the FG feels for you students they should ve gone further to keep an agreement they signed. They have kept you people in the house and you think by blaming ASUU your problem will be solved. Keep dreaming.

And u tink by supporting ASUU, your own problem too will b solved abi?
Education / Re: Opinion: Why ASUU Must NOT Call Off Itsstrike by Rotimigabriel(m): 10:57pm On Aug 26, 2013
We should not be quick at blaming Jonathan simply because one lai mohammed rubbished his administration. If we look at it deeply, increasing budgetary allocation to 26 percent should also b done by state governments whereas, state governors turned a blind eyes to this. This is why lasu is paying 250k and other unis also. If governors had also injected funds to education in their various states, it is possible dat school fee in states uni will not b dat high. May GOD help us sha

Education / Re: ASUU Demanded For N87B & Not N92B As Reported By Okonjo-Iweala by Rotimigabriel(m): 10:15am On Aug 15, 2013
Anniettie ufia: We've heard and seen 92Billion in the news for over two weeks,
but how come it is now the ASUU is reacting to it,
Why didn't they condemned it as false since then,
now who's telling the truth ?

Make una keep on striking from 127billion to 107 to 87 billion , very soon we'll hear 57billion ,

Exactly what i have been thinking a long time ago. Fed govt will say something while ASUU presido will refuse to counter it. I av known since then that ASUU has anoda reason for the strike rather than the infrastructure of a thing they are claiming
Education / Re: FG Can't Meet With ASUU Demands - Okonjo-Iweala by Rotimigabriel(m): 7:51am On Aug 14, 2013
gbengadada2004: Madan Okonjo Iweala is not been sincere. This is just an attempt to blackmail ASUU. Didn't Governor Suswan said that FG have set aside N100 billion for this cause that ASUU is fighting? She is just misinforming the public. No money in the Nigerian economy but she is collecting her salary in dollar! Nigeria must make a choice, why can't the senators, ministers, governors and house of representative members make a choice to reduce their salary for the sake of the masses? After all Kenyan president did the same thing.

Read thru the story again, this news is like 3 weeks old. meaning, okonjo said dis when the strike was in its 5th week
Education / Re: FG Holds Crucial Talks With ASUU Today -releases N100bn To Suswam-led Committee by Rotimigabriel(m): 11:19am On Aug 13, 2013
As it is now, today's meeting will include how this hundred billion will be shared. Let's just pray that ASUU agrees on the sharing formular so that this time wasting strike can b called off.

Plshavmercyamen: Ok na. Let the show of shame continue. PDP/presidency is unwitting setting a very dangerous precedence which might hurt them in future. As wemay have TWO PRESIDENTS come 2015.

Man! U av just said exactly what is in my mind. Idiots
