Bandit C.:

While you may, out of your own resolve, display apathy towards MASSOB'S struggle, do not ridicule their persons in such condescending manner in order to appear neutral to outsiders.

For Christ's sake, you are Igbo and should understand exactly the point they are trying to pass across. Is it now a crime to you that the dead should be honoured? Your dead Igbo brothers and sisters?

At least MASSOB is putting in work rather than sitting somewhere in Lagos or in a foreign country and ranting over the net.

While Enugu may be less inclined to indulge in rash and outspoken means of agitation like MASSOB in other states do, every Enugu resident, indigene and entire Igbo nation at large, irrespective of being educated or not, white collared or blue collared, wish and hope within their hearts for a new and better nation than what is currently obtainable called Nigeria, whatever that new nation may be called.

Respect others man, and recognise those who have staked a lot to make sure that your people are given the respect they deserve. You and many like you on this forum should not throw objectivity away and just spit nonsense just to get acknowledged by strangers who have numerous times wished you and your people genocide and unimaginable death. Ignore MASSOB but respect them, in as much as you may be tempted to believe they are fools and uneducated.

Always thought you were smarter but your comments sometimes leave me totally baffled and dumbfounded.

Smh.
Thank-you very much. You just said my mind. I am really disappointed at the way some of our obviously learned brothers are yet to grasp the true position of Ndigbo within the Nigerian scheme. Remember, 'Ojukwu' struggled with this problem; not as an illiterate but a highly seasoned fellow with clear intentions for his people that never in an way infringed on the interest of other ethnicity or races - if they are to be sincere; yet it all ended in a blitz. Heaven was let loose on this man till death, as we all know the story. The path to a truly sincere, uninhibited and uncomplexed 'Igbo' participation[integration] in the Nigerian project is such a difficult one, that attempts at rectification, no matter how diplomatic, will always be fraught with mistakes and casualty owing to the strengths of the actual beneficiaries of our mishap, both the unscrupulous few within us and the external many. Averagely, the true Igbo minds secretly nurse and desire better that they are getting in the Nigerian context, hence whomsoever assumes the bold stance - such as MASSOB - should not be laughed off at points of error as they will surely occur. @Bandit, Thanks once again.

Romance / Re: The Maximum Age Range For Partners In A Relationship by Royalty10: 3:49pm On May 30, 2013
I really don't understand my people and how fake we have become in attitude. What is 10yrs? It is no gap whatsoever in terms of opposite sex. Age, will only count if the girl is very young. Any lady above 20yrs, so long as matured, is good to go for any man within the 30 and above range. That is the way it has been from the time of our parents, and will remain so. It is the oldest and simplest of facts, that physically, women come to terms with issues bordering on emotions and sex lot earlier than men. So i don't understand what we mean by 10years. Loads of guys pretend to be cool with themselves with comments like, 'i can't date any girl 4years younger', or "Are you a perv" and all that 'oyibo' wannabe shit. For all those inexperienced comments, Mark this word, from 20yrs upwards, a man's opposite gender equivalent is at leasts 8years apart, in terms of relationship and sexual issues.

Religion / Re: Femi Aribisala: Every Pastor Who Collects Tithes Is A Thief by Royalty10: 11:43pm On May 07, 2013
[quote author=kenmaro]I will make my comment base on a paragraph from Femi Aribisala's write-up. I quote: "Pastors hide from church-members the fact that money was not acceptable as tithe. The tithe was a tenth of the seed and fruit of the land and of the animals which ate of the land. (Leviticus 27:30-32). That is why God says: “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be FOOD in my house.” (Malachi 3:10). He does not say “that there may be MONEY in my house.” The food was used to feed the Levites, the poor, widows, orphans and strangers."

I think as at the time before and after of Christ, money was not of so much use as at then, there were situations of trade by barter(ie, exchange of goods and services for the same like) that may be widely used then. And if i am not wrong in my own opinion, the context, FOOD, as it is been used in (Malachi 3:10) in the old could represent MONEY in the present because as at the old, most of the people then were peasant farmers, hunters and fishermen whose live-Li-hood depends on the direct products of their labour and may be the rest in excess are been exchanged for other goods and services they might need. Comparing to the present today, live-li-hood has gone so viral that virtually everything a man needs for his survival all depends on MONEY for him to procure his needs. There are no enough lands for man to farm again because all those empty lands of the old have been structurally developed by the government and man to occupy the growing urban development. Even if you want to farm now, you will still need MONEY to pay for your bills(light, water bills). So, in other to make the tithing easier for a modern generation, comes the use of MONEY for the payment of tithe.
I was once so sceptical about this tithing of a stuff and i did a lot of research on it just to protect my hard earned money been given out ignorantly but one thing i have come to understand about tithing is this: Tithing is not all about you rendering one tenth of it or how much your tithe is, it is all about individual givers belief, sacrifice, and faith that for which you have given so shall you receive the favour of God in any way (either financail growth, promotions, blessings, longlive, good health, security, shelter, food, and etc) as God did promised in His words in Malachi 3:10 not minding whether the tithe you rendered to your church was been used for the purpose it is intended for. Some pastors and leaders of churches may divert this tithe for their selfish purposes but i tell you, they are only building the wrath of God upon themselves because they have stolen from God and shall be definitely punished by God in any way unless they repent of it. If i may ask, why do we complain of a tenth been given to God for all He has been providing for us while we pay as much as 25 per cent of our income, happily, as tax to our government who could not account for how the taxes are spent?[/q

Your argument is quite logical, but the truth is that the ambiguity in bible interpretations often have mischievous undertones. Money existed already at this times. Shekels and some other forms were mentioned prior to the laws. If it was monetary, it would come up surely. The argument emanates from the emphasis on money which is disturbing. Key bible figures obviously propagated the word in a selfless manner and often expressed resentment for fleshy or things of the world in different ways. Remember how JESUS christ reacted to trading in his house. The 'EMPHASIS' on money as a pathway to the kingdom of GOD will forever be argued because it is arguable. I know JESUS christ is clear and never meant confusion in anyway.
Romance / Re: Men, Do You Value Intelligence Or Beauty? by Royalty10: 9:25pm On May 03, 2013
The plain truth like some have already highlighted, is that most men definitely want both and even more, possibly. My point is people unmistakably point to the PhD and intimidation factor. My take based on my own background, men get attracted to all xteristics that denotes a woman - in its purest sense regardless of baccalaureate qualification. My only advice, going by your description, is to be cautious of the feminist tendencies propagated in today's world; especially by the west. There are lots of deception going on in this regard. Most of those supportive of the equality movement, know the secret of their own successful homes were not built on this confusing concept but rather a wise balance with more inclination to the man. Guess one would ask 'why lecturing in this direction?' Going by current societal trends, one can readily though arguable, say 8 out of 10 PhD accoladed women, would have overtime, due to academic rigour, have their 'canine teeth' too developed for comfort. No man wants to be devoured in his own home, particularly by his supposed other half. Please and please, this is not intimidation by any standard. It is a case of the growing societal support in switch of natural [divine] feminine attributes that men intuitively sense and make a withdraw, even unknowingly. Every man desires an intelligent woman, however your intelligence [preferably wisdom] should be a source of inspiration and peace. To conclude, the PhD is not on anyone's forehead, therefore if the men are regularly turned off, then its either you think in the line pointed out or consider other unemphasized aspects of your personality.

Family / Re: I Love My Wife. I Caught My Bestfriend bedding Her, Should I Divorce Her. by Royalty10: 4:27pm On Apr 15, 2013
Lie, lie people. Na the game plan be that. Ur friend knows you are gullible, moreso, ur wife tells him he is better than you. what kind of sleep befell her within that space of time. Drug my foot! As someone rightly pointed out regarding how he gained access for a start, coupled with knowledge of your absence. You seem dull and slow. Your friend is disrespectful, cunning, exploitative and wicked. Your wife is a deceptive bitch, pretending to be sleeping with a formerly registered dick right in her inside. Let her go! Ur head and instincts work lot better than ur heart in issues of this kind.
Sports / Re: Yobo Blasts Keshi Over Kenya Snub by Royalty10: 5:13pm On Apr 02, 2013
This clearly shows why we struggle with even the most basic of issues as Nigerians. We speak from all corners of our mouths and that is why anything goes - just damn whatever and bulldoze your way through what works for you. I have always known Osaze's intentions were misconstrued. Firstly, he took all blames for speaking up; got the stick on the guise of wanting to be captain after bn dropped (9ja style)- as if he truly couldn't have captained the team in instances of Yobo or Enyeama's absence. 'Complete sports' now knows better about how he (a professional player for over 10years) should relate with his club; likewise Quiet captain Yobo, had issues with Moyes at Everton for insisting on serving Nigeria yet we don't think its diplomatically in order that he enjoys some immunity or respect - havn bn the most all-time capped eagles. To digress a bit, if Siasia is under condemnation for perceived poor man management issues, how come Keshi rarely loses games and won the nations cup with currently similar poor communication issues? Could it be that Osaze is today punished unfairly? remember Yobo told him to grow up for for takn a swipe at him and, for making same outbursts that is now justifiable for a few capped Emenike recently; or is the press/media exaggerating issues for business gains at the expense of our beloved players? On the contrary, remember most of these same players just confirmed keshi as a respectable father figure, which buttresses why many our fans, must desist from making unguided opinions that discords progressions in the Eagles. In recent times we have sn Rooney insult fans on camera; we have sn the most skewed of them all in Baloteli; Rio Ferdinand just tactically boycotted a national call to the resentment of English fans; we know the Terry saga, just to mention a few. Yet they are well managed and even protected. Even though one cannot boast of how helpful the NFF is in this regard, Nigeria must learn to resolve these issues internally.

wow! I never knew this! thanks for the information. I've been dreaming of going to Cambodia to teach English! What about Sao Tome and Principe?

@Dextra, Please do not go anywhere. There are loads of places that require your services in english language within Nigeria. None of these countries mentioned can match any state within Nigeria in all ramitifications. I feel where you may be coming from; but can certainly bet citizens of all aformentioned will not be impressed at your idea.
Sports / Re: Odemwingie & Complete Sports Editor Fight On Twitter by Royalty10: 1:00am On Mar 25, 2013
Complete sports must have said some trash that brought about Odemwingie's response. If many are saying He does not have to react to all that is thrown at him considering his known temperament, then one may understand. I am sure he is not mad to suddenly turn to complete sports because going by the manner the twitts were presented, one can clearly see the timing of odemwingie's twit(13:xx) coming after that of complete sports(12:xx). I wonder why the troubled lad is still getting the stick as if we are not aware of the lousy tendencies of certain journalists.
