You have the notes already.

This should guide you, Ma.

No concern as regards home ties were raised. Just tackle the financial issue well. A gift deed can be used to explain such in next application.
Thank you for your advise.i will tackle the financial issue and reapply.

Sigh!! I'm sorry for this development.

Please order your GCMS notes as this will address the specific concerns of the V.O

Also, I equally feel that assuming the 19,000 CAD was in your account with an explanation on the source, it would have been a different ballgame. I also feel that the V.O felt that if the whole 19,000 CAD is for you, what will your husband have for his own upkeep.

Anyway, these are just my speculations.
Thank you for your advice. Pls can i send you a mail?

Please i need a link for LOE so i can use it as a guide to reapply.

I am not a guru but with my little understanding of Canada immigration and VO assessment

Every lump sum needs verifiable explanation.

I wish you all the best.

Apply for GCMS to know better.
Thank you.

I’m really sorry about this. Your next application would be positive by the Grace of God. I’m sure the gurus would be here to assist you soon. Have you ordered your GCMS notes though? It’s advisable to do so before reapplying.

Thank you for your concern. I have my GCM note with me. The concern of the VO is insufficient fund.

Thank you. 2 million is the highest i have had in my account. I submitted the statement with balance of 3 million. And then i also submitted a fixed deposit account with the sum of 19, 000 CAD.
I received my GCM note today.

I'm really sorry to hear this.

You haven't had up to 4 million in the account before?

On reapplying, I will suggest you get your gcms note first

When did you apply?

Was the lump sum explained?

Also how active is the account you presented. Some times lump sum in an account that is not so active might raise eyebrows.
I applied in December 2020. I didnt explain the lump sum in my account. The account has been active.

I was denied today based on insufficient fund and proposed course of study. And then a lump sum of 12,000 CAD in my personal account. My hubby is my sponsor and we have a fixed deposit account which we submitted. I want to reapply. Pls advise on how i can explain the concern of the VO. Thank you.

Please I need some clarification on proof of funds, if one's required proof of funds is 10m for eg, does it mean when printing your 6 months statement u must have had that 10m or more for every single day in your 6months? Like money can come in and go out of the account but never go below the 10m for any single day in the entire 6 months period? Please someone should clarify me. Thanks
Your closing balance should be 10million or more. You can wait for the gurus to advise you.

Please be extra careful when dealing with those bureau de change guys irrespective of their location.

Watch out for fake/adulterated notes, mutilated ones and blank notes stacked in btw a bundle.

@Alchemist, you just shenck us since PPR drop, nothing do you sha, God still dey run PPR for this street. Best wishes to every hopefuls including myself.

@spectro, we weren't glad about the decision IRCC gave concerning your application, wish we could influence that. I personally, I'm rooting for you, you were helpful to many here, so I'm sure you'll def get it right sooner than expected

@Lianna, what kind of person are you? You're everywhere & anywhere dishing out advise despite you cementing your Canadian study visa status. Person way marry you lucky ooo, you're so selfless and full of gratitude, you came back strong to give to the platform that helped you. WHAT A HUMAN YOU ARE. God bless your heart richly. I no go mind put asunder & snatch you from your oga grin cool LOL. God bless you once again ma.

To all our oga them them, special thanks to y'all. Una be the real MVP

You are right. But the bureau de change opposite MM2 do not do fraud. My hubby has been changing dollar to naira and naira to dollar in their office. Once you get there, Ask of Ali, he is a very nice and sincere man.

Hello Guys,

As an international student just going to Canada, what's the best way to pay for things with the $100 monthly restrictions on Mastercards ?

For example, the hotel qurantine which is the first 3 days after you land, the average cost is about $900, what is the easiest way someone can pay for this ?

Barter is not an option because their exchange rate is ridiculous.

I am just trying to figure out the easiest way to make payment from a Nigerian bank account.

Also, does anybody know a legitimate place in Lagos where someone can change physical cash to CAD or USD ?
You can check MM2(Murtala Mohammed Airport) Ikeja Lagos. There are Burundi change offices opposite the Airport. Their exchange rate there is good.

I am very sorry about this. It is not fair.

And while I am a March applicant hoping this continues sequentially through the year (Feb then March, then April...), I honestly think they should answer you guys first before they answer the rest of us. It is simply the right thing to do.

But it's beyond me. May God intervene.
Amen. Thank you. It will surely end in praise for us.

School has nothing to do with Visa Approval Chances, as far as the school is a DLI (Designated Learning Institute), offers PGWP (Post Graduate Work Permit), and your do the needful on your STUDY VISA APPLICATION, you are good to go.

CAMBRIAN COLLEGE is a DLI & offers PGWP

There are loads of CAMBRIAN COLLEGE STUDENTS on this platform who have gotten their Visa Approved.
Thank you sir for your response.

As far you can do your diligence in your Study Visa Application, you are good to go with Cambrian College
