Despite d directive issued bi d federal Govt. Dat all striking lecturers shud resume skul,on or B4 9th of december 2013..As @ dis morning,wen I visited skul(University of Benin),lectures did nt hold in most falculty,despite d directives...
Though most of d striking lectures were around,as their cars were parked in d car park,however dere was no sign of lecture goin on,an indication dat d lecturers are stil on strike.....
Even d ASUU chairman Uniben chapter confirmed in d early hours of 2day,in an interview in one of d popular station in benin(ITV Benin), dat dey are stil on strike,nt until d national body(ASUU) calls of d strike..
And on d part of d student,dere was a very low turnout..a visit 2 d student hostel shows dat most of d student are yet 2 resume...
Most of d classes are still under lock nd key
