I actually applied since August, getting my documents and getting an appointment date at TLS made me submitted biometrics on 2nd September, I had people who even submitted much later than myself, yet it didn't take more than 2 weeks for theirs to get approved.

Aprokodaughter:
Reasons why you have to apply to schools early. Visa approved admission cancelled.

These people are humans and they work with deadlines. You can't wake a month to apply for admission and process your visa.

Hey guys please I need your help.

I applied for my Visa since September, due to visa delays I couldn't register and the deadline for resumption on campus was Oct 25th. However my Visa wasn't approved by then. I had to forfeit my place as my account was closed as per school policy, now this guys just sent me a message that my visa has been approved, I contacted the school and the said, I'll have to try again next year that it's too late to resume.

Please what should I do at this point?

Thanks a lot boss, this was helpful

There is a 100 dollar limit on Nigeria debit cards. So the best bet is to use a dollar card, or look for someone who has if you don't. But I will advice you use flutter wave, fund it and create a virtual dollar card. That was what I used for my school application fee.

EVENING GUYS,

PLEASE WHICH BANK IS GOOD/FAST TO PROCESS FLYWIRE TRANSACTIONS USING FORM A, my contact at access bank told me it will take a minimum of 4 weeks to process any form A transaction due to backlogs and CBN POLICY.

I WANT TO KNOW IF ANYONE DID THIS RECENTLY and WHAT BANK WAS USED AND TIME FRAME FOR THE TRANSACTION. MY FLYWIRE INVOICE LASTS JUST 6 DAYS.

THANKS.

Hey guys, I am new here. so i have an offer with the university of Leeds for Masters in GIS. I am about to pay for deposit fee of 1500 Pounds so as to get my CAS.

can I use my Visa Card to process this transaction? are their limits to the amount that I can pay with my VISA naira card.

the school has only two options for payment
1. Card Payment
2. Flywire - (the site is not responsive)

Please I would be grateful if anyone can help me answer this questions, especially if you've made payment recently

HELLO GUYS, Good morning.

A quick question, I have applied for study permit before, was denied. so I am reapplying, I am refilling the IMM1294E form. it the field for UCI number, should I fill in my UCI from my previous unsuccessful application or should I just leave it blank?

Hello gurus in the house, please I need your honest reviews on my situation!

I am still reading through the thread from the beginning, just needed to get clarity on the issues ASAP.

I applied last year July for my study Visa (University of Calgary, Msc GIS), I was denied based on family ties, employment prospects in my home country.

So I deferred the admission to September this year, I want to reapply again this month, my dad will be sponsoring me fully, with about 60k cad, he also has landed properties, I earn a gross monthly salary of 100k working in a GIS firm, although I invest most of my funds in crypto, so my bank account is not really helpful. I was wondering if this will affect my re-application?
Also can I use my sponsors bank statement for the NSE route?

And secondly is there any a need to redo medicals, cos I completed medicals and biometric verification during my last application?
Thirdly, how can I establish family ties in my SOP?

lentomac:

1) Yes , strictly online, paper application ain't available cos of the pandemic

2) I think you can, since it hasn't expired, but wait for response from the gurus about this

3) NSE route is now the new route IRCC process Canada Study Visa Application of Nigerian application, but you can still opt for the Regular Route if you know you are not able to meet up with the NSE requirements

For information about the NSE route, Visit the the links below

Members who were successful with the NSE Route would be able to give you more information about it based on their experience

I really appreciate this. Thanks a lot. it will end in praise by Gods grace

hello everyone been a while here I was denied last year September, so I had to defer to this year. I will like to begin the process again.

just a few questions

1. Is the application process still fully online?
2. Can i still use the medical report I used for my last application(August 2020)?
3. Are there new updates to the application process?

i will still be going through the thread again, but i just needed some clarity on this issue?

Please I need someone to help me out with an SOP that has got approval.

I think I was rejected because I did not convey clearly my intentions(I thought I did). every other thing looked solid, I want to reapply by December.

I don't intend to plagiarize, just need something to compare with to know where my gaps could have been.

or alternatively if the someone with experience in the house is willing to review my SOP I would appreciate

So i recieved my gcms notes last night.
Eligibility failed due to the reasons below.
My course of study is very close to my undergraduate degree, my previous employment is same with my choosen course of study, all my family members are here in Nigeria.

I wrote my SOP myself, I'm thinking now my SOP was poor though i felt i addressed all these issues on it.

I would like to reapply... if the guru's don't mind to help me out analyse this. Also If someone can share their SOP that was successful i would be grateful. My email is wirehay76@gmail.com.

Got my GcMs note today, Failed eligibility sad(
God is good.

The note says: He said 27yrs old male single no support significant previous travel to access as a positive factor, no support for any employment , mothers account noted. To study college certificate.
The applicant’s rational for studies given past and current education and employment has failed to satisfy me that the expense doesn’t justify the potential for improved career possibilities in applicant country of citizenship or current residence to present an incentive to leave Canada. Overall weak family and economic ties to of citizenship and current residence to provide incentive to leave at the end of any authorized stay.

Congrats boss, i applied july 6th, eligibility started first week of august, done biometrics too on 24th, and upfront medical still hoping and waiting. I have never been this worried and anxious in my life. Already enjoying my lecturers and course mates.

Did you recieve your AIP via mail or in your account?

Noms11:

Applied July 8th. Did biometrics 24th August. No MER or any form of update since then, except I noticed eligibility review commenced around the end of July.

just saw this on a thread.............

"RIP my friends.

Visa refused after AIP, on eligibility reasons. Never felt so hopeless as a Pakistani. Didn't defer. Didn't do anything that would make them reconsider my stage 1 approval.

IELTS: 8.0
Program: Bachelor's in CompSci, University of Windsor.

And yes, rejected on the same reasons they provide to everyone - especially after AIP.

Yes, I applied under SDS. I have no previous refusals. My medical and biometrics passed months ago. No criminal record, nothing."

this IRCC are bloody ooo!

As for me and my house, they won't see one naira until I get full approval.

Frankrobbn1:

It really amazes me how people view Canada and their immigration strategy as self righteous people. These are all tricks used in a very strategic manner yet professional way, albeit people are blinded folded to agree on it. Its only a matter of few days or weeks from now, IRCC will begin exhibiting what they have been cooking up for quite a long time. The immigration process of Canada is not for the faint-hearted, so one has to fully prepared for any outcome that arises.

It will end in praise.
