Elusive001:

Most times I am inclined to believe that some interest parties sponsor the insecurity in the southeast to paint the region bad and if possible, discourage investors from investing in the region. I believe they want to paint the SE very black. They do this with some willing tools from the region too.

These guys want to keep all development within their region. Was this the template used to move companies to Lagos? Maybe.
South East has maintained one of the most secure place in Nigeria for more than a decade now.
Politics / Re: Mass Kidnappings: South-East Tops Ransom Payments, Accounts For 40% Nationwide by Scholes007(m): 12:33pm On Jan 11
Mccullum:
Northern Nigeria pay highest, which above 1.2 trillion Naira.. follow by Eastern Nigeria that is about 844. 6 billion Naira.

With the size of South East, logically on that, South East can be accepted as the highest payer for kidnappers.
South East is 85 billion not 800+ billion. South East is the least paying region. It's a shame we tend to purchase falsehood because we know people don't read
Politics / Re: Mass Kidnappings: South-East Tops Ransom Payments, Accounts For 40% Nationwide by Scholes007(m): 12:06pm On Jan 11
1.2 trillion for North west.
400+ billion for North central
240+ billion for South west
160+ billion for North east
90+ billion for South South
And focus is on South East 85 billion, which is the least in the year in review

The security in Nigeria is appalling that should be the focus

This calls for celebration. Ohaneze have scaled this huddle. Time to move on and build one voice. Selecting Ikwere person as the president general will be enshrined in history.

Iam not against anyone who choose to identify as igbo but the idea of trying to pin it on them
Likewise pinning the idea that they are "NOT" Igbo on those that say they ARE cannot be tolerated. This is a delicate situation and must be respected.

Enough of this crap from my igbos, most igbos that wants to force ikwerrres to be igbos cannot live with those peeps and you stand to benefit nothing. It's very embarrassing.
if any Ikwere man identifies as Igbo, then his decision must be respected likewise the alternative. With this in mind, Ohaneze ndi Igbo's decision of selecting one of their own must be respected .

Exactly my point. Ikwerre people don’t care a rat’s ass whatever Igbo desperados decide to do with a lunatic.

Let him hold Igbo people’s meeting in his father’s compound first as a way of showing that his lordship over the leaderless Igbos has anything to do with Ikwerre people.
Pls remind us who you are.

Okay. Nigerian election is not worth discussing. Should that happen, then there is no result other than more brain drain, inept leadership and poorer citizens. By the way no one cares.

How can people drinking faeces-laced water even think well in the first place? Thats why there are lot of bitter people.
Non sense. Did you even read the article?? It's said on 2% do open defecation, hence the main cause should be misplaced placement of boreholes. I believe government will handle that easily.

The Agulu-born, Igbo local champion is empty upstairs, and one would be wasting his time to dignify him with any response at all.
Tinubu is repositioning Nigeria's economy making the country to be self-reliant and moving away from borrowing country. Only a discerning mind can see this. I agree that the policies are causing hardship in the land. But we just have to bear. It is like that of a pregnant woman. Tinubu is merely taking bullets for the failure of the past presidents. As for that Obidafts internet president, if he ever becomes an ordinary storekeeper in Aso Rock in his lifetime, make I bend grin
This is the reason why we are in this mess. You choose to criticise him without identifying the fault in proposed policy or otherwise. Is there things you know that we don't.

Too much noise and waste of time and resources. I doubt some of these so called leaders have anything to reason except noise and clout chasing. If you seek a state in SS then good luck with your dream. But if it is a state in SE then there is a better chance of it flying. Unless you want the already small region SE to have 7 states then SE will gladly accept. Besides that's a better way to develop the region more

You see, that noted was a bait for you Obidients as you are just too emotional about politics matter.

So Peter Obi raised some points which might be useful for the development of Nigeria, our own country, were you expecting me to attack him for making this constructive suggestions?

Wouldn't this same suggestions be noted if it was to be from another person apart from Peter Obi?

This is a confirmation of what we have been saying about the Obidients group, Obidients people, you don't welcome others ideas, if not yours then they can go to whatever. How would you win ordinary a spoon with this mentality?

Btw, stop all this years of nagging on my comments. It's for your own health.
Tell me the politics that is not emotional/sentimental

You have 5 eastern states, they want to carve out another state from there you said no that it must be Anioma that includes part of Delta, the Deltans are saying no but you're saying they must carve it out by force. Ah ah... So Delta oil dey your eye abi?

You think the senate will create another state without the locals accepting it?.. Better fight for your Etiti state and forget Anioma because even Ned Nwoko that started it no fit finish am.
There's a lot that ticks in this case. It's much complex than mere ethnic perspective. It is good that people at the helm brought this up. SE region just like other regions should have six states in spirit of equity. SS, NC,NE and to an extent NW are all multi ethnic regions. There is nothing wrong if similar thing is done to the political entity called SE. With that said, SE stalwarts I believe are doing the underground works with the necessary stack holders. Argument here will not yeild any positive response except contempt.

Even America the richest country in the world is not there, Europe indeed is the centre of development. Most of the listed countries are smaller countries in terms of landmass and population. Except Canada. Countries that cannot manage her birth and death rate effectively is very difficult developed.
Funny. U S A has close to 25 million millionaires. But when you compare this number to over 300 million people in the country then you see the reason it's not on the list.
