Aproko, do you think that the Apostoles were mourning when the fire fell as in Atcs 2, in fact folks thought taht they were drunk. That was the beginning of the drunken dispensation,Paul said do not be drunk with wine, but be ye filled with the Holy Ghost. Cheers wink wink

Judge ye not so that ye should not be judged. Why try to remove a chip in someone's eye instead of removing the planck that's in ur's. wink
Religion / Why Talk About Anointed Ministers Instead Of Changing Our Selves First by Seabe(m): 3:09pm On Aug 29, 2008
Folks hie in the name of the Lord Jesus. Im concerned about this thing and that is why do we like to look at other people instead on focusing on our selves and get to realise that some were some how some body out there might be looking at our foot steps too..
Religion / Re: How Do You Know God Is Talking To You? by Seabe(m): 12:14pm On Aug 29, 2008
Hie there folks, how are you doing. This is an important topic and i passed by because it's a very sensetive issue. God speaks from his word, because his word and voice are one. The bible says that God put things into rememberance, God merely reminds when he speaks and he dosen't force things on people. So for us to hear his voice we need to read the bible and believe his word because that's how he speaks to us. Cheers  cool smiley

Religion / Re: Is It Biblically Right To Have Tattoo On The Body? by Seabe(m): 7:45am On Aug 27, 2008
Hello guys, this is an interesting subject, may be let me ask something before i continue, what if a person who previously has permanant tatoos before he was converted, i think in this case you can just stay the way you are. It's really challenging, i will return soon, if i won't forget lol with a better answer, coz if you say christians shouldnt tatoo their bodies you must give a spiritual reason why, not just appearance smiley

I don't know him very well, it might be due to that you loved him more Sean.
I think that ministers are very unique. I love so many of them, i believe that i will be a unique minister some day as well.
The Late, Kenneth Hagin was great as well. In one of his books he admired Smith wigglesworth. These showed that people that are before us can drive us into greater heights. I want people of tomorrow to be inspired by some of us who are of today. Be Blessed in the name of Jesus.

Religion / Re: Can Pastors Nationwide Ever Unite? by Seabe(m): 8:39pm On Apr 22, 2008
Hie fellows, i believe that frequent meeting of ministers or leaders is a cool idea. Because that can promote many things which are really good in the church and it can strengthen believers, like world wide. I don't know as to whether such meetings are ever conducted or what, but i think that they could be great, a sign that we are "one". Be blessed.
Religion / Re: Can God Be Seen? by Seabe(m): 9:51am On Apr 21, 2008
According to my understanding of the scripture, God cannot be seen and his presence cannot be felt.
BUt what about Jesus, Jesus is God and he came in the image of God. Remember the bible says that we are created in the image of God. He is the image of the invisible God, he came as an image of God so that he may be like us and that through him we may be saved, because Jesus was, and is still Pure and Holy.
The way that Jesus was glorified after his death and ressurection, is exactly how we are going to be like him the time when he comes.
So, God cannot be seen, but he can choose to reveal him self to whoever he likes.

Guys, lol. lol, that's enuf.
I believe that the Problem we might be facing is that, little or nothing is done to help those who are poor and in need.
Whether you pay tithes or not, the thing which you have to apply is faith,
"Pastors live by tithes while tyhe congragation lives by faith"
Hahahaa.
We all live by faith guys and blessings are things that will follow you, as you remain faithful in the things of God.

I don't believe that Pst. Kumuyi would be happy with what you have read.

Woops slight mistake, wanted to say that, "i don't believe that even your Pastor will be happy about what you wrote here, or said" smiley

joe(Otuonye),
OOOOOOOOOOOOO accept my sympathy, one will easily know that you are like CHRIS OYAKHILOME(A FALSE PREACHER)
hOW on earth will you say that a xtian can put on trousers as female, paint lips like jezebel and curl his hair like chris oyakhiome and you think that such can ever get to heaven.
What do you think holiness is? a filthy rag? please be guided! any church, person or pastor that is not in total agreement with pastor kumuyi/deeper life is not from God and will go to hell fire if they fail to repent.
As for me, pastor Kumuyi is the only man of God in africa and possibly the world. Also note that you don't have to agree with this statement as the bible say that whosoever will be a friend of God will be an enemy of the world so , that a lot of people hate deeperlife or pastor Kumuyi is enough confirmation that the man is realy from God

To begin with, no man is from the devil, because the devil has never created anything nor made any man. The second thing is that you have to examine your own ways. I don't believe that Pst. Kumuyi would be happy with what you have read. In a way the bible says that blessed are them tht are persecuted for my name's sake. Matthew 5:10-12.
I didnt want to say much my friend. The name deeper life is not in heaven, neither the name of any church. Only the name of the saints are in heaven, so you better re-consider yourself my brother. That is why it's important to examine your own self, ask God to help you in your weaknesses and in dealing with sin. That is what i do, that God may help in all my weaknesses.
I will say more next time,
Islam for Muslims / Re: Re: Prophet Muhammad In The Bible by Seabe(m): 5:23pm On Apr 18, 2008
All the peophets in the bible were great because the bible says that, ", greater is the one that is with in me,than the one that is in the world" 1 Jhn 4:4. Prophets like Moses, Joshua, Isaiah i believe that they are categorised as great because of the content which we find in word of God. I mean by the great works which God used them. Only one page is available for Obadiah, not necessarily meaning that he did little.

With my little contribution, i think that i am among the first few who stuk to the topic "Prophet The Great Prophet of the bible." cheesy

Be blessed mightly in Jesus name.

If you say you know they are, when was the last time you saw one? Can you explain something that you haven't seen or experience. Were are your evidence?

Do you believe that you have a spirit.
If so when was the last time you felt your own spirit.

The Spirit can not be felt, cannot be detected. God can only show his Power by his Spirit, how is present every were.

I used a search engine on  http://www.biblegateway.com and the new international version does not have the word Holy Ghost, but it rather uses Holy Spirit. The use of Holy Ghost is found in the King James version.
They mean the same thing, for example

From King James version, Matthew 1:18  Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost

From New international version,  Matthew 1:18 This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit
Religion / Re: Questions For Knowledgeable Christians by Seabe(m): 9:28pm On Apr 15, 2008
which clearly indicate Jesus' anger and displeasure at people who call him "Lord, Lord", it is obvious that both translators distorted Mt 7:21 in a different manner. Ironically, by comparing them side by side, the true account inevitably emerges: "None of those who call me, 'Lord, Lord,'

Matthew 7:21-23.
21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers![/color]

Jesus said that, "I am gentle and humble at heart". (Matthew 11:28-29). Which clearly indicates why Jesus can never be angry at any man. Jesus was talking about people who call upon his name, do works of service and yet not true or living a life of sin in their secret places,i.e. when people are not around. Read the word of God in context. Since his calling and gifts are withour repentance, God expects us to be at right standing with him, worship in truth and in spirit. Because God sees us were ever we are.

Answer to all your questions mr. bin laden

Psalms 119:160., Romans 3:4, Romans 10:17. John 3:16-19., 2Timothy 3:16
All if God's word are true. Let God be true and every man be a liar. Faith is one ting that you should put on when you read the word of God.
the answer is Jesus is the son of God and he liveth forever and ever. He gives eternal life tothose that come to him. smiley
Religion / Re: Who Was Jesus Before He Became A Man? by Seabe(m): 8:32pm On Apr 15, 2008
I believe that this is important to consider. Lets not get personal, but rather be patient with people for these is one of the characters which has to bear fruit in our lives. My prayer is that many great ones may see the light, and know that indeed Jesus is not a prophet like others were but rather he is from Everlasting to Everlasting.

Woops, sorry fellows, i meant to say that my prayer is that many may see the light of God, even muslims. Because The bible says that let God be true and every man be a liar. (Romans 3:4). Mahommed was a man just like you, because the word of God says that in Adam, all die that through Jesus all may live. (Romans 4: 19- 21). 19For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

20The law was added so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, 21so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The discussion here is, who was Jesus before he became a man, and i believe i have answered it above this post.

God loves you,
Religion / Re: Who Was Jesus Before He Became A Man? by Seabe(m): 8:18pm On Apr 15, 2008
the purpose of this forum to exchange information, ideas and to have discussions
.

I believe that this is important to consider. Lets not get personal, but rather be patient with people for these is one of the characters which has to bear fruit in our lives. My prayer is that many muslims may see the light, and know that indeed Jesus is not a prophet like others were but rather he is from Everlasting to Everlasting.

3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 4 I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. this is From John 17 (3:5).

God revealed himself as Jesus to mankind that through him, them that believe in him might have eternal life. The bible says that we are also created in the image of God. (Gen 1:26-27)  which means that Jesus as the image of God, he looked like us.

26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created man in his own image,
       in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

Jesus came as the image of the invisible God, that he may be called the son of Man and at the same time the son of God, because he came from God and he was God himself. He came that he may take my place and yours, the purnishment which you and i deserved, he gladly saw it necessary to carry it for the whole world. He lived a pure and Holy life, for you and me that those that may accept him may have his rightousness and thus making them to be at right standing with God.  smiley

Otherwise he was God, he is still God and he will forever be God, because he changeth not,

I will explain more next time, remain blessed,

I love Pastor T.B Joshua and i also love Pastor Chris, because they are servants of the Lord. I have seen one documentary of Pastor Joshua and how he began his mnistry in the days of his youth,"if i read well". He did things that some of us wouldn't want to touch, many of us wouldn't want to sweep the church, dust chairs and fans. Were as with Pastor Chris, he has been around too, i remember reading one of his books, i can't remember well the time he preached to the lady he talked about.I remember him saying that the lady was refusing to accept the Lord and suddenly he went outside and began praying and praying, the moment he returned, the lady was on the floor crying. I think it was around 1978, may forgive me if i missed it. what i am trying to say is that these anointed servants have been around, they have went through life and encountered struggles in their ministries as individuals. God has carried them through.
I Love them with all of my Heart.
I Love the way Pastor Chris teaches he word of God,
Prophet Joshua would say, "Leave it all to Jesus".
