Education / Re: Kwara: 259 Teachers Score Zero In Pry 4 Exams by shetan: 1:45pm On Nov 29, 2008 |
How about a proffessor nominated to be screened by the senate for a ministerial post during OBJ's regime who couldn't sing the national anthem. Many of the people castigating those 259 teachers might not be able to scale through some primary four exams. Let's try all these jamb, neco exams and u will be amazed to see how many people will flunk it. Am not making excuses 4 those teachers. I believe they dont have any right to be found wanting in what they teach their students. But i chanllenge us to pick any of these neco, jamb questions and see if we will not sweat over them. |
Family / Re: Who Is Enjoying The Fruits Of Your Labour? by shetan: 11:33am On Nov 28, 2008 |
U are the one enjoying the fruit of ur labour with all ur material possessions. U even bought a human being( a housegirl) to be at ur beck and call. This is the kind of life many people are praying for. If u are tired of work, resign, set up a business and put people there to manage it 4 u while u stay at home with the maid to ''enjoy the fruit of ur labour'' 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Ribadu Dragged Out Of NIPSS Graduation And Arrested by shetan: 11:02am On Nov 27, 2008 |
Let's face facts on this issue. Ribadu, i believe is experiencing What AC(action congress) calls poetic justice. Law of karma, if u like. I think it is outright mischief for anybody to say he doesnt know Ribadu was a tool in the hands of Obasanjo, witch hunting his perceived enemies. Did u see the way he molested Tafa Balogun? How about disobeying court orders or selecting which court orders to obey like his paymaster, Obasanjo? He is now running to the same court to seek redress when the iG issued him a query. Remember he couldnt touch Bode George, OBJ's crony. Now this same bode George is now being investigated. Let him stew in his own juice. |
Family / Re: Caught My Husband From Cheating :/ by shetan: 9:50am On Nov 27, 2008 |
Am sorry to say u are just making a mountain out of a molehill. Infidelity or extra marital affairs is something that is rampant among men(Nigerians or foreigners) We live in a world where sex is now a phone call and a click away, due mainly to the way your fellow women dress and shamelessly throw themselves at men. So, it will take the special grace of God for men to be faithfull to their women. I think u should consider yourself lucky your husband is not even thinking of marrying any of his mistresses. But are you sure U yourself are not the reason for his philandering? Have u sat him down to ask him why he is cheating on u? I know for sure that, that a man cheats on his wife does not mean he doesnt love her anymore. If he does it secretly, it means he still respects and loves u. How about a man who cheats and even tells his wife to take a hike if she cant stand it? I suggest u talk to him and iron things out with him. |

Your ordeal is painful indeed. But hardly will u find any man (Nigerian or foreigner) who does not engage in extra marital affairs. It is very rampant in Nigeria. Even women engage in it. But the question is are u sure u are not the reason why he is philandering like that? Have u sat him down to ask why he is behaving like that? It might not be he doesnt love u. Most philanderrers do it because they are sexually insatiable or because they are not contented with the shapes of their spouses. They see different shapes flaunted at them in the name of dressing and naturally, they want a piece of the action. Women are the ones to blame for societal promiscuity because of their indecent dressing and the way they throw themselves at men. It takes more than the grace of God to resist all these temptations from women. Add that to the fact that our society accepts polygamy. You should count yourself lucky he is not thinking of taking another wife. I believe he still loves u but he cant help it if he is being sexually harrassed by your fellow women. This was why i wrote an article titled ''Who really is to blame for societal promiscuity? on my www.datingandmaritalissues.com. And another one titled ''Positive sides to infidelity/extra marital affairs. |
Food / Re: American Foods Vs. Nigerian Foods by shetan: 9:22am On Nov 25, 2008 |
The adage ''one man's meat is another man's poison'' holds true here. Nigerian foods are like beauty which, they say is in the eyes of the beholder. In fact, i would have thought that part of ur reason for coming here is to experience our culinary skills. They say the taste of the pudding is in the eating. Come and taste our local dishes and i assure u, u will forget about all the leaves u have been used to in the US. |

Fashion / Re: Wigs, Weaves And Perms Symbolize Self Hate by shetan: 7:24pm On Nov 24, 2008 |
I think we should leave ladies( men are also into this) to do whatever they like with their hair. In any case, will they ever listen? You dont tell a child to stay away from fire. When the fire burns his hands, he will stay away. |
