You are good to go. This is a logical explanation, but practise till you are able to explain it as fast as possible. You missed the 2017 training, you would like to now go for the vacation first, then go for the 2018 training. Even if you are not given for the vacation, you can come back and apply for the training, and you will still be consistent. IMHO.

Thanks KaptainAfrica. I appreciate your thought.

It's good you know that d dates on Oct is not too favourable, so you have taken the right steps to look forward to 2018,yet,i know B1/B2 should be sufficient for your intention, but using a vacation intention as against the prospective leadership training in March/April,might count against you at the POE, unless you visit the US in Dec for your vacation, then, Yes, you may as well use it in March.... .just explain to the CBP officer at the POE, you would have already earned trust in your Dec trip
cool cool

Thank you Sebastine

Hi Everyone.

I had been following and read through the thread.

Please what do you guys think about this.

I was to attend a leadership training for 3 weeks from Oct 1st to 25th, i went though the qualifying test through out July and August and got invitation early September. By the time i paid and book appointment i got 18th October for Interview which is the middle of the Leadership training already.

If i should present that to the VO, my chances could be NO, though another Leadership conference had been slated for March/April 2018 but i am thinking of changing my application for vacation and visiting in December, so that by March i do not need to go queue for visa but just fly for my Training having received 2 years multiple visa.

Please what do you think about this? Is this thought right?

Oh, just recollected i called Lagos Embassy to see if i can change my appointment date and told the Customer service my reason, which i believe she would have noted in their system. i f i go for vacation and visiting hope it won't go against me?

I am Married with 3 kids
I am head of Operation for an IT company and collect 218k after taxation
I'd only travel to Ghana 5 years ago in 2012 for vacation.
Intend vacation to New York and road travel to visit my in-law in Philadelphia.

Please kindly advice!

LadyG, Seye, Sabastian, KaptainAfrica and others.

Expecting your reply.

Mk82,

I read through all the post and this is great work. I had learnt a lot from your wealth of experience.

I started the research when i saw it on millionaire fastlane and glad to know that my nigerian brother is there achieving success. good work keep it going.

I will keep you posted on my progress with this also.

@ Mk82, Question

From your experience, will a book that focus on spirituality - like how to pray successfully or handle anger or parenting sell?

Just want to know, what is the outlook for pastors who are authors?

Thanks.

agbitaj,

if we don't correct things in our nation Nigeria, who will for us?

I am not hunting anyone, just let's do what is right. i wanted
to buy from them (flat screen TV) and asked for opinion from
my friends, though a girlfriend had said it before but i did not
take her words serious because i know her to be loving and
irrational. When i had 3 people saying the same thing on
Facebook, that cut my attention and prompted me to seek
for opinion of people that had been service by them before.

Moreso, if jumia is having issues with their products, the
owner and investors of the company might not know that their
staffers are destroying business for them.

With this they will know, correct them and do business right.

Like now, my wife has force me out to shoprite as i am typing
this to go buy the TV, that time of going to shoprite is alot of
comfort and income for me. After working a whole week, i need
to rest and plan ahead for the following week assignment but i
have to hit the road- lagos traffic, lasma, road safety nd the likes

This effort is just an effort to make ecommerce better in Nigeria.

Mine you i do not own any ecommerce site. so relax i am not for
anyone but for good service in Nigeria. smiley smiley smiley
Business / Is Jumia.com Services And Products Good, Professional And Quality? by sim4fx(m): 10:49am On Nov 23, 2013
Please share your experience with Jumia products and customer services.

What issue have you got with their products and sevices?

Alot of my friends both on facebook and real life complain bitterly.

here is the link https://www.facebook.com/ikennanzimora?hc_location=timeline

My friend message:

"The PS4 is in Nigeria. Jumia.com has it available for =N=140,000.

I want to get it immediately but I have sworn never to buy anything from Jumia.

So I shall wait patiently until another vendor stocks it."

When asked why, he said "Jumia sells fake products and they never reply or attend to you when you complain. They give you a bad product and then ignore you. I tell you. Everybody I know who has shopped with them has a bad experience."

Another person said: "The can even collect ur money n tell u d very product is out of stock. Then u will Ve to wait pending wen d stock is available."

A friend ordered for a product and less quantity was supplied. Till date nothing has been done according to him.
I am not for anybody just a customer who wanted to shop online
and decided to ask my friends and was shock with the revelation
but decided to verify with the public before concluding.

What is your experience with jumia, konga and the likes

Honest opinion please

Thank

Nairalanders, let's lave this man alone with his God and life, let him mind his business and do what he is doing. Our problem in Nigeria is that we talk about others why we leave our own matter unresolved. Some of us have some terrible issues in our own life or relationships or homes; but we have leave our own and talking another man's matter. MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS, FACE YOUR LIFE AND LEAVE ANOTHER.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MAKE NIGERIA BETTER? That is the mos important matter now. The man Ituah is doing his own. What of you?

I don't know the man but he is doing something, what are you doing?

THINK of that. wink wink wink

Thank God that we know where this kind of people use to end, Paul and his comrade.

Whatsoever a man sow, that he will reap. You can't escape it, it's the law of life.

Paul, your name sake in the bible did not escape his punishment despite he repented. you will likewise receive yours. i laugh on your foolishness.

Paul, the Apostle- not you- but the Apostle, said some work for the promotion of the gospel, while others for their belly but in all christ is preached.

If it is for their belly or gospel- God's work or church's work, christ is preached. are you God to judge them.

When oyedepo was starting in Ilorin, and God instruct him to move to kaduna; and out of hunger and lack, he obeyed God. in the midst of persecution and opposition in the north. He still went ahead to obey God and now HE that he obey is blessing him; while are you jealous.

chris will lock himself up with his brother and 3 others to pray, pray and pray; with fasting and denial will go out to seek God and bring the lost to Him and ministered healing to the hurt. Now their Master had decided to bless them, what is your stress.

MY QUESTION to you have you obey God in any way to add colour to others?

God's servant had not shield off mistakes; cause they are human. they will make mistake too.

if you pray for them as God as instruct us to do, you will not be looking for polluting people's mind about them.

The 1st and last commandment is TO LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF.

When there is love, you will not tanish another and if you love God you will not take what belong to Him to do on His behave.

DO YOU LOVE GOD?

If it be of God it will stand, but if not it will fall.

THOSE THAT DO SUCH
Examples establishes pattern. They tell us what had happen, how they happen and what happen after.

Some years ago, some people decide to take over the job of the ‘God of the man’; let’s see what happen to them

1. Miriam & Aaron, when they accused Moses of wrong marriage. Truly Moses was wrong but God punished Miriam with leprosy. Numbers 12:1-15, 20:1.
2. Korah, Dothan and Abiram. Numbers 16:1-35.
3. The fifty soldier that came to Elijah on the mountain. 2nd kings 1:9-16.
4. Jezebel. When she decide to kill Elijah. 2nd kings 9:10; 30- 37.
5. King Herod, who killed Apostle James, but was later eaten up by worm, Acts 12:21-23.

You decide to take over the job of the God of the man:
I ask you these questions
 His your leg big enough to size his Shoe?
 His your hand long enough to change a man’s heart?
 His senses wide enough to quiz a man, yet not kill him till you get him back on tract?
 How long have you live in TIME to have known how to handle His MATTER and bring it back on tract?
 How have you balance the ratio of LOVE & FIERINESS to have decided to stand in His matter?

If you have answer to this, CONTINUE!!! if not CONSIDER your ways; cause WHAT A MAN SOWS, HE WILL REAP.

I am not asking you to suffer in silence or not to try to help others, but mind your language- use of words and expression.

You started this with good intention, but already turning it to something else because of your annoyance, anger and retaliation boiling in your heart.
Friend, handle this matter wisely and do not destroy yourself. The wisest thing I think is to desist from this effort of trying to get back at those that hurt you against your detriment. In this kind of matter, we will say God will understand, but when it comes to Him Man and His Duty, He doesn’t take it with levity, so others don’t do the same thing. Desist.

He should not punish MIRIAM, whose argument was right and also a PROPHETESS according to the bible; but God? He did not spare her, but punish and later died early.

My friend, don’t think because of the bad of one think all is bad and feel you can finish them. NO Desist.

I will tell you something about TITHE later, I tagged it THE WISDOM OF TITHING.

Take care.
Religion / Re: How To Become A Super Rich Holy Businessman by sim4fx(m): 4:10pm On Oct 06, 2008
GOD NEVER CHOOSE PERFECT PEOPLE, but only submissive and available people to get His job done. He uses imperfect people to do perfect desire of His.
David, the King was never a perfect guy, but enjoy God the most and was used of God to do His most desire. Saul that know how to map out his ways suffered the most, while the other with his mistakes but submissiveness enjoy God the most; but also forget that God still punish him for his wrong when there was need for that.
So no chance with God to mess up, even with those he love and chose: but He has the prerogative of who and when the person his wrong and punishing.

Paul declared to us what God said to him when he was thrown aback by his weaknesses, “My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Was God statement to him. So God uses men with weakness to achieve His desire.

Check through the scripture, you’ll see God using men of weakness to do outstanding things. What differentiate them is their submissiveness to the personality and principles of God, despite their weaknesses and the choice of God to pick them for His assignment.

Moses was a stammerer and hot temper person,
Jonah was a headed, stubborn and disobedient to even his Boss – God.
Elijah was hot temper and fearful. He also over-estimates himself.
Peter has his fault, but God used him

God is not looking for perfect people to use, but submissive fellows. Have you not read that 1 Cor 1:27 ‘But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;’ because ‘His ways are not our ways, and His thought is not our thought.’ And His wisdom some time seem foolish to us but His wisdom is far higher than ours’ because He sees the end from the beginning. He is the only wise God.

For his reasons, He chooses whom He will and glorifies whom He chooses. He has not made anyone the JUDGES or REFEREE of those on His TEAM or PAYROLL>

He has the sole duty of whom He chooses and what He does with him, both his mistakes and glory is none of a mortal man’s business, whose breath is in his nostril.

They are called Man of God, and He is God of the Man; while don’t you leave the God of the man (Master of the man) to chastise, correct and put his man on tract again. Why take over the job of the God of the man?
