efueh: don't they have the Trf form with them? The answers they seek is on the form both the test date and the Trf result date. Because if they put any date different from what is on the Test report form when uploading after ITA, that will be the misrepresentation they fear. so they should check their forms. if they don't have it, they should wait till they get to be on the safer side. 1 Like |

segunwebs: You can simply go there and tel them you're going to the fingerprints department for PCC request. You can also use a contact. in my case i had some connect me with a contact within. Once in the fingerprints section, i found 2 other people there for the same. they were charged 10k as well and was told it will be ready the same day as mine. Didn't have to tip anyone after. so i'm guessing it's straightforward. 1 Like 1 Share |

segunwebs: Yes you can. But of course they'll still send it to Lagos. Did mine last Friday and got it yesterday i.e Tuesday. it costed 10k but i think its worth it compared to the stress of travelling to Lagos. |

Received Surprise ITA today around 3pm. At first, when i saw the mail from CIC and logged into my account, i thought i've been hacked as i least expected a draw today. Had to go and check the rounds of invitation page to confirm that their was an actual draw. God is Awesome! Congratulations to everyone else that got ITA today and to those waiting, God will surprise you speedily as well. The Journey continues... 29 Likes |

Tojued: Apologies for the typo. Remark with idp costs N46,124. You'll need to download the EOR form from their website (https://ielts.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/EOR-Request-Form-2018-A4-050718.pdf), fill it, scan and upload it along with proof of payment. Hello house, Thought to share this to encourage those at the early stage of their journey. decided to immigrate late 2017 but was lackadaisical about it . So no thorough research done. all i new was that ielts was need to pass eligibility test. Ist attempt (BC): 11/11/2017 (LRWS: 8.5,7.5,7,7) Thought i was set but then i realised, while using the “come to Canada tool”, that education will not be recognised unless evaluated and found equivalent to a Canadian degree. So i decided it’s time for ECA. Paid for ECA Dec.7th 2017 with WES, but alas! NASU strike. Eventually got ECA completed July 2018, entered the pool same day but by then age has caught up with me as my birthday was in May so i lost 5 points and i had to register for another ielts to try and max it out for additional points. therefore: 2nd attempt (MOD): 18/08/2018 (LRWS: 8.5,8,6.5,7.5) Checked online and was disappointed, cause writing was the only component i felt satisfied with at the end of the test. Felt i did’t perform quite satisfactorily in others as compared to my first attempt. So i decided EOR is the way to go. I didn’t bother collecting my TRF, instead i paid and requested for a remark the same day result came out. Followed up the request immediately with IDP Australia and then once every week just to keep tabs. Got my EOR yesterday. Writing upgraded from 6.5 to 7. CRS now 444. Fingers crossed, hoping for a favourable draw come next week. So guys be encouraged, never give up and do not waste time cause, if i hadn’t wasted time, i wouldn’t have needed the 2nd ielts i sat for and would have saved myself 68K, but all things working together for good i believe. Also, INFORMATION IS KEY! Search the web. Search this forum extensively. it is a treasure field. Didn’t know about this forum until after i submitted my profile for EE in July and nevertheless, i have really learnt a lot that can help, even as i press forward on this journey. Above all, commit all your ways into God’s hands and HE will order your steps by His Grace! 55 Likes |

Hello everyone, kudos for the great job thus far. please i have a question as regarding POF. i helped transact a deal regarding a landed property and i was paid a commission on the same in cash (precisely in dollars). i'm planning on paying this into my dorm account and using it as part of my POF. but being a lump sum, it might raise a red flag and i don't know how to explain it. I'm not a real estate agent as i have my own job as a civil servant. but the nature of my job allows me the opportunity to deal in this kind of transactions every once in a while being that I'm in the ministry of lands. |

Elfmannisback: it's not an upgrade since it's not going to add any points to my score. But thats what they called it on their website. I was just thinking to get it done just in case it's ever requested which i doubt. But with this wes situation, i won't be proceeding anymore. |

bskyb: The transcript has to be uploaded from the school's official email and not generic emails like yahoo, gmail.etc otherwise, it will not be accepted. Meaning, your school will be the one to send it by email. At least from what i gathered on their website. 2 Likes |

ayusco85: You can start with ECA first has it takes a longer time to acquire. so while your eta is on-going, you can then prepare for ielts. 3 Likes |
