Politics / Imo LP Launch Youth Vanguard. by Sirkiz: 10:08am On Jul 20, 2023
In preparation for the forthcoming Guber election on November 11th, 2023, Labour Party, Imo State chapter, has introduced a grassroots initiative, "The LP-Youth Vanguards".

Addressing pressmen at the party's office in Owerri, the Imo State capital, the state's chairman of the party, Onyekwulisi FBI, said that the party birthed the idea having considered the significant influence and enthusiasm demonstrated by young voters, who are particularly supportive of the Labour Party's bid to control Douglas House.

He noted that the movement aimed to train and empower the large number of youthful Party members, ensuring their readiness for the upcoming assured triumph.

Onyekwulisi assured Imo of Labour Party's victory at the polls, saying that the state needed leadership anchored on transparency and accountability which only LP can guarantee.

He therefore emphasized the importance of providing patriotic youths with proper electoral guidance and training. According to him, the Youth Vanguards consist of 100 members per Ward and 300 members per Local Government Area (LGA). Based on this calculation, there is a minimum total of 38,600 Vanguards spread across the 305 Wards and 27 LGAs in lmo State. He referred to them as "Our Obidient Foot Soldiers."

Onyekwulisi who rubbished reports of factionalization in the party explained that the position of the law was clear in the running of political parties in Nigeria. He reaffirmed his dedication and allegiance to the Party's national leadership. He pledged to support any candidate of the party whom the apex Court pronounces.

Onyekwulisi revealed that plans were in place to rally the remaining residents of Imo State and solidify the Party's unstoppable momentum.

Politics / Nnamdi Kanu Release A Panacea To National Healing by Sirkiz: 10:10pm On Jun 26, 2023
By Chief Innocent Okeke

As I marked my birthed today June 27, 2023, I have, like an elder should do, been contemplating the issues plaguing our beloved country, with a focus on the ongoing insecurity in the South East and how best to put an end to it. As thoughts streamed through my mind, I came to realize that the key to resolving this problem rests on the Federal Government's adherence to Court orders/judgement, which has discharged and acquitted Nnamdi Kanu. FG should also listen to the advice of seasoned Nigerians, and ultimately release Nnamdi Kanu. It is widely believed that Kanu's continued detention only serves to fuel the insecurity in the region.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a prominent Igbo leader and the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). He was arrested and detained by the Nigerian government for advocating for the welfare of the Igbo people from Nigeria. Since his detention, there have been growing calls for his release by both local and international stakeholders.

The need to release Nnamdi Kanu by the Federal Government cannot be overemphasized, as it will help to promote peace and unity in Nigeria.
The continued detention of Kanu has further deepened the already existing mistrust and resentment between the Igbo youths and the Nigerian Government.
It has also fueled agitations and increased tensions in different parts of the country.

Furthermore, Kanu's detention is a clear violation of his Fundamental Human Rights, Rule of Law and Due Process, including the right to freedom of expression and the right to a fair trial.
It is also against the spirit of justice, equity, and fairness, which are fundamental values in any democratic society.

The continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is an abuse of court orders.
In 2017, Kanu was released on bail after being incarcerated for years on charges of treasonable felony with stringent conditions, which he met.
However, he was re-arrested in June 2021 under a questionable process which the Federal Government called extraordinary rendition and has been held in detention ever since.

Since his rearrest through extraordinary rendition from far way Kenya, the authorities have not formally charged him with any new crime, nor have they allowed him freedom like every other Nigerian.

Consequently, the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu is a violation of his Fundamental Rights to liberty and a gross abuse of Court Order.
The Rule of Law is a fundamental pillar of democracy, and the continued detention of Kanu undermines this principle.

The authorities must abide by the court orders and grant Kanu his right to freedom.
The disregard for the rule of law in Kanu's case does not only affect him but the entire justice system and the citizens' trust in the judiciary.

It is my sincere request that Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu immediately and unconditionally release Nnamdi Kanu, as I firmly believe he has the ability to do so promptly. President Buhari's administration politicized Kanu's release, and I expect Tinubu to take a different, more compassionate approach.

The release of Kanu would assist in calming the ongoing strife between the Federal Government and rebellious youth factions throughout Nigeria. This would enable negotiations and harmonious resolution of crises, which is necessary for long-term progress and nation-building.

The forthcoming governorship election in Imo state on November 11 is a matter of concern for me.
Various local government areas such as Oru East, Oru West, Oguta, Orlu, Okigwe, Orsu, and Njaba are now ghost areas and have all been taken over by insecurity caused by both State and non State actors.

The incessant harm they have caused to people and their properties has led to an atmosphere of fear, and it is expected that voter turnout may be low.
However, if Nnamdi Kanu is released as ordered by Court of competent jurisdiction it is likely that these hoodlums will lay down their arms and engage in dialogue with the Federal Government. This may bring about an end to the threat to the lives and properties of people in Imo state and the wider South East region.

In conclusion, the release of Nnamdi Kanu by the Federal Government is not only necessary to promote peace and unity in Nigeria, but it is also a crucial step towards upholding the fundamental human rights of every Nigerian citizen. The government should, therefore, consider releasing Kanu, drop any charges against him, and engage in constructive dialogue with agitating groups to find a lasting solution to the country's challenges.

I pray that wise counsel will prevail in the corridors of power in the Federal Government.

A word is enough for the wise.

Politics / Imo LP Imbroglio: That The Truth May Prevail. by Sirkiz: 8:48pm On Jun 26, 2023
By Barr Robert Ahaneku.

The foundation of the truth that must prevail started this way; there was one Dr Ambrose Onyekwere as Caretaker Committee Chairman of Labour Party Imo State, who stayed for about 11 Months at a stretch, instead of 3 Months at first instance, though could be renewed, may be, for another 3 Months.

He used that opportunity to pick and drop persons as LGA and Ward Chairmen including those who were at the time of their appointment not Labour Party members. In early March 2023 that Caretaker Committee was dissolved by the authority that appointed it and another Caretaker Committee headed by Comrade FBI Onyekwulisi was on 6/3/2023 appointed and inaugurated in Abuja Headquarters of Labour Party.

This Caretaker Committee arrived Imo State, resumed work on 7/3/2023 and on 8/3/2023 the former Caretaker Committee Chairman Dr Ambrose and his team handed over fully to the Comrade FBI Onyekwulisi led Caretaker Committee.
As at this time there were no factions in Labour Party or any contest as to who the National Chairman was or any Court Order against any of the Members of the NWC.

In a twist on 10/3/2023 a group of meddlesome interlopers and sponsored moles filed Ex parte application in an Owerri High Court seeking interim restraining Order against the FBI Onyekwulisi led Caretaker Committee, which the Court in its wisdom refused and rather ordered for the maintenance of 'status quo' which meant the state of things in Labour Party Imo State before filing the Suit on 10/3/2023, which revalidated and authenticated the existence of the FBI led Caretaker Committee.

The State of things was that the old Caretaker Committee of Labour Party headed by Dr Ambrose Onyekwere had been dissolved, and a new Caretaker Committee of Labour Party headed by Comrade FBI Onyekwulisi appointed, inaugurated and properly and fully handed over before 9/3/203.

The four(4) assignments contained in the letter of appointment of the FBI led Caretaker Committee are: Revalidation of Membership of the Party, which was carried out between 23/3/2023 to 5/4/2023; Conduct of congress for adhoc Delegates election for the Governorship Primary, which was done on 13/4/2023; Conduct of Governorship Primary, which was done on 15/4/2023 to elect the Governorship Candidate; and finally to conduct Ward, LGA and State Congresses to elect Party Officers and Executives across Imo State, which was done on the 2/6/2023, 3/3/6/2023 and 4/6/ 2023 respectively before the expiration of the tenure of the FBI led Caretaker Committee on 6/6/2023 as contained in the letter of appointment.

Worthy of note, on the 4/4/2023, the key members of the N.W.C which includes the National Chairman, National Secretary, National Treasurer and National Organizing Secretary were sued in an FCT Federal High Court and restrained on 5/4/2023 from functioning as officials of the Party. On the same day they were restrained they purportedly constituted the Prof Awuzie Adhoc Steering/Management Committee with a three(3) weeks tenure. This appointment letter was signed by two out of the 4 persons already restrained by the Court (Chairman and Secretary); whereas there was a legally constituted and Court validated body already carrying on with the assignments already given to it without any encumbrance.

In another twist, on 13/4/2023 one Akhaji Lamidi Apapa ( the purported Ag National Chairman) that replaced the restrained National Chairman allegedly appointed one Nze Akujiobi led Caretaker Committee, when the one appointed and validated by a Court Order before their self contrived factions and Crises started on 5/4/2023 started, was still extant.

The same Alhaji Lamidi Apapa who purportedly appointed his illegal Caretaker Committee led by Nze Akujiobi, purportedly conducted his own Primary election on 16/4/2023 which purportedly produced Chief Ukaegbu.

Now, the question on the lips of every patriotic and unbaised pundit is, when did the Caretaker Committee purportedly appointed on 13/4/2023 conduct the Delegates' election that produced the Delegates that voted on 16/4/2023 that produced their Candidate?

Let us look at it dispassionately this way and allow discerning minds to make a decision - the Caretaker Committee that was appointed on 6/3/2023 with clear mandate on what its assignments were and validated by Court pronouncement on 10/3/2023 not yet vacated, conducted Delegates election on 13/4/2023 and in like manner conducted the Primary election on 15/4/2023 that produced Sir Basil Maduka as Governorship Candidate, the Prof Awuzie Steering/Management Committee appointed by persons already restrained by Court from acting on 5/4/2023, conducted its Delegates election on 13/4/2023 and conducted Governorship Primary on 15/4/2023 that produced Sen. Attan Achonu, and the Nze Akujiobi Caretaker Committee appointed on 13/4/2023 on top of a Court recognized Caretaker Committee already in place, without evidence of Delegates election purportedly conducted its Governorship election on Sunday 16/4/2023 that produced Chief Ukaegbu.

My dear good Labour Party members and Obi-dient families, looking at the circumstances of the foregoing, out of the three Candidates which one can be said to have emerged through a well defined legal process? It is important we tell ourselves the bitter Truth, otherwise the lmo Labour Party is at a great risk of not having any Governorship Candidate in the November 11th 2023 election.

I therefore call on the elders and leaders of this great Party to quickly rise to the occasion and embark on reconciliations, bargaining and negotiations to save the soul of the Party in lmo State; by critically subjecting the processes that produced the three Candidates to an unbiased legal scrutiny.

At this point, l rest my case. Let the leaders and His Excellency, Peter Obi don't say they didn't know the true situation well now, l believe they are now properly informed. But if anyone has any other fact that contradicts what l have stated herein, please don't hesitate to make them available.

Politics / Understanding The BAYELSA FHC Judgement On The Imo LP Candidature by Sirkiz: 5:16pm On Jun 25, 2023
1. There is for now, no valid Guber Candidate for labour Party in lmo State by the Court Pronoucement.

2. There wasn't any CONSEQUENTIAL Judgement which affirmed the Candidature of one lkenga Ukaegbu nor a given directive to what next the Pronoucement. Hence, the Judgement is subject to Appeal Court interpretation.

3. The admission of Abure's Restriction Order by the Court, has made NULLITY of all he Abure did in lmo, Kogi and Bayelsa States, from 5th of April 2023 till date. Thus, the Candidates and or Appointments he made therein, are Null and Void ( for you can't build something on nothing and expect it to stand).

4. Moreso, it has exposed the Caretaker Cmte constituted by Lamidi Apapa in lmo State on the 13th of April, 2023, as illegal. Because, there was a subsisting court ORDER of Statusquo that he Apapa contemptuously violated by that Appointment ( for ignorance of the law is not an excuse). This regrettable development has fully stamped, substantiated and consolidated the Comrade Onyekwulisi F.B.l led SWC and its' activities; having been appointed on 6th March, 2023, before all the leadership imbroglios.

5. The above situations imply that both Abure and Apapa committed contempt of the Court; hence all of the exercises they conducted in lmo State within those slated timelines, are inconsequential and of no effects.

6. However, the true Candidate of Labour Party for the 11th November 2023 Guber election in lmo State, must be determined by the Appeal cum Supreme Courts of Nigeria; which Basil Maduka has a brighter chance of clinching.

7. As a clarion call, all the OBI-DIENT families, supporters, fans and members of the Labour Party in lmo State, should keep faith alive without Distractions by the sore Detractors. Surely, the AUTHENTIC Candidate shall be known on or before the 11th November election.

The Truth must previal!!!

Politics / Not Too Young To Run Sponsor Emerges Achonu's Running Mate by Sirkiz: 1:43pm On Jun 05, 2023
Kizito Duru

Tony Nwulu, a previous legislator who introduced the Not Too Young to Run legislation, has been declared as the deputy governorship nominee for the Imo State election on November 11th under the Labour Party.

Nwulu ran for governor in the past and was introduced by the Labour party’s governorship nominee, Senator Athan Achonu, at the campaign headquarters on MCC Road in Owerri.

Many Labour Party officials and members in the State were present for the event.

During his acceptance speech, the former federal lawmaker criticized the performance of Senator Hope Uzodimma's APC-led administration, describing it as a failure that has left the people of the state impoverished.

He announced that they had issued a quit notice to the current government due to their disappointing track record.

Nwulu expressed concern about the alarming level of insecurity in the state, which he said is hampering economic development and growth.

He lamented that bad leadership has severely impacted Imo State, with the only thriving sector being insecurity. In addition, the state's hospitality industry has crumbled because of insecurity, leading many prominent citizens to flee the state.

Nwulu stated that there has been a significant increase in homicides, abductions, and unlawful killings, indicating that the governor has not fulfilled his obligation to defend the people of the State.

He also asserted that the education sector in the State has failed, particularly in rural regions where pupils and students are studying under trees, which is an unacceptable situation.

Additionally, Nwulu expressed concern regarding the alarming youth joblessness rate in the State.

Despite this, he affirmed that his nomination as the Deputy Governorship candidate for the Labour Party's gubernatorial candidate, Senator Achonu, is proof of the Labour Party's dedication to providing young people with a distinguished position in governing the state.

Politics / Ihedioha Will End Substandard Projects In Imo -ezekwem by Sirkiz: 9:19am On May 13, 2019
Ihedioha will end substandard projects in Imo -Ezekwem

The Chairman of the Imo State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Chief (Barr) Charles Ezekwem, has assured imolites that substandard projects, which is the signature of the outgoing Governor Rochas Okorocha's administration, will soon be in the past.

The PDP chieftain also said that citizens of the state should expect improvement in governance that will hing on due process when the state's governor elect, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, assumes office on May 29, 2019.

Ezekwem stated this on Thursday, May 9, when the 27 local government chairmen of the party in the state paid him a courtesy visit at his country home, Umuzoegem Amano Okigwe, in the Okigwe local government area of the state.

The legal luminary said that Ihedioha who was elected under the platform of PDP in the recently concluded gubernatorial election in the state is a man with unquenchable taste for quality, refined and disciplined leader equipped with the administrative know-how to lead the state to greater heights.

He noted that Ihedioha was ready for the task of governing the state having prepared himself over the years, insisting that the governor-elect would not toe the line of his predecessor.

He said, "Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, the next governor of our dear state is not going to government house as emergency governor.

"He had long desired to govern this state and worked hard towards it. He is well prepared for the job and we should expect a viable Imo State, piloted by a governor who is passionate about the development of the state.

"He won't give in to substandard projects as he is renowned for his penchant for quality. Workers and pensioners will be paid as and when due, Imo people will not have their lands snatched by the governor, the standard of education will be improved".

Also speaking, Hon. Chinaemerem Madu who led the delegation to Chief Ezekwem said the chairmen had come to appreciate the state chairman for his enormous contributions and sacrifices that led to the victory of the party in the last election in the state.

He averred that the chairman has since assumption of office in 2016 displayed good leadership traits which positioned the party in the state on the part of success.

Hon. Madu commended Chief Ezekwem for sanitizing the party, conducting a transparent primary election and giving all aspirants level play ground. These, he said, gave Imo PDP an edge over other political parties.

Politics / Interogating The Insipid Attacks On Apga's National Chairman. by Sirkiz: 7:25am On Nov 26, 2018
INTEROGATING THE INSIPID ATTACKS ON APGA'S NATIONAL CHAIRMAN.

By Kizito Duru

I have read with utmost disappointment and dissatisfaction a piece from my friend Amby Uneze, who corresponds for Thisday Newspapers in Imo State. In the said write up, Uneze accused the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), of being tatters.

I am disappointed that my Friend Uneze jettisoned the sacred rule of journalism, which is balancing of reports, in dissecting the issue that surrounded the party's primary election in Imo State. It was clear from the first paragraph of his article that Amby was set to rubbish not just the party but also her national chairman. It is either the outcome of the primary 'election' didn't favour the interest of Amby Uneze or that he has personal problem with the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Imo State.

Uneze claimed that the problem of Imo APGA started when the party admitted some names into her fold. In his exact words, "The problem started when the party admitted all manner of people including those rejected by their previous parties into her fold and granted waiver to run for various elective positions through the party. At the last count, the party had over 30 governorship aspirants in Imo State alone. Most of these aspirants were the best in terms of integrity, marketability, professionalism, and acceptability. Inspite of greed which made the party leaders at the national level jacked up the Expression of Interest and Nomination fees, the aspirants went ahead to purchase the forms."

I don't know when it became a crime or a cause of problems for a political party, especially, one that is in the opposition, to admit members. Has Uneze forgotten that politics is a game of numbers? Every political party in Nigeria grants waiver to those they think that would add glamour to their aspirations. That APGA has close to 30 governorship aspirant in a state like Imo dominated by the APC and PDP, is a credit on its own to Chief Victor Oye. He made the party look attractive for aspirants. He positioned the party to a height that aspirants preferred it to the APC and the PDP, especially in the South East states. Some guber aspirants who would have contested under the platform of Imo PDP knew that there was no way they could defeat Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, as the Mbaise born former lawmaker made himself a larger than life figure in Imo PDP. Of course in APC, the battle between Okorocha and the Coalition is not one any governorship aspirant would want to involve himself with. This made APGA the beautiful bride as none of the aspirants could comfortably and confidently say if they primary election had taken place, he could have won. The ambience of competition in APGA was healthy, courtesy of Chief Victor Oye.

I don't think that the decision of APGA's National Working Committee to jack the prize of nomination forms was informed by greed. Uneze should understand that APGA is not the ruling party, nor would she measure up with the financial strength of the PDP. Election in nigeria is a capital intensive and money sapping project. Since there are no Atikus, Sarakis, Tinubus, Obasanjos etc in APGA, the monies realised from the sales of nomination forms will go a long way to financing the campaigns of the party nation wide.

Uneze continued, "The four-man adhoc delegates in each of the positions from each ward making it twelve adhoc delegates from every ward in the stated were also meant to pay for their forms at N10,000 each for a position. It then means that those who bought forms for the four positions – House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate and Governorship spent N40,000 each adhoc delegate which was paid to the party coffers. From a random calculation, Imo State aspirants under the platform of APGA in a whole must have paid a whooping sum of over N4 billion into the coffers of the party at the national level."

I was aware when party faithful started purchasing Ad-hoc delegate forms for the primary election in Imo.
As much as eyebrows were raised over the amount the form went for, people cared less. In fact, some aspirants, notably the governorship aspirants, bought as many forms as possible and gave it out to those who they think if they make the delegate list, will vote for them. There is no sacrifice that is too big for a course one believes in. APGA may have demanded more than the PDP and APC as regards the amount for the adhoc delegate form, but the truth is people bought it without much grudges. Uneze I know is a journalist and has little knowledge of mathematics, hence we will forgive him for making an audacious, unverifiable, untruthful statement of the aspirants contributing a whooping sum of 4 billion naria to the coffers of the party. That is far from reality.

Uneze only condemned the decision the of the party to pick senator Araraume, without telling his reading audience that the NWC of the party sent an electoral committee to Imo from Abuja. He didn't tell the world that for three days, this electoral committee tried to conduct the primary, and for three days, thugs allegedly loyal to some gubernatorial aspirants threatened them. He didn't write how some aspirants boycotted the would have been primary election.

Amby lamented, "By hand picking a candidate and presenting same to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the governorship of the state and other positions only reduced the integrity of the party in the state and ignited public outcry leading the other aspirants to demand that the right thing should be done or their money returned back to them. The name of APGA in Imo state today reverberates violence, cheating, racklessness. "

Uneze needs to know that the party leadership abinitio didn't plan to the governorship primary in Imo State to go the way it did , but having seen that all efforts to have a peaceful primary election failed to materialize, the National Working Committee together with the members of the party's Board of Trustees, the State Working Committee and indeed major stakeholders of the party, took a decision to go ahead with the primary, so as to meet up with the deadline for the submission of candidate's name by the Independent National Electoral Committee (INEC).

After all the politicking, Senator Ifeanyi Araraume emerged as the party's governorship candidate. Expectedly, other aspirants didn't welcome the development. Most supporters of the party in Imo called for the head of the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Oye. It appeared the existence of APGA as a party was about to come to an end. But some aggrieved supporters of the party who had threatened to leave the party, after some days gave in to superior argument and saw reasons to not only stay back but to support Senator Ifeanyi Araraume's candidacy. Today Araraume is making waves across Imo to the extent that many are keying into his campaign.

That Chief Ohakim and other thirteen aspirants sued the party to court is not enough reason to say APGA is in tatters. Senator Samuel Anyanwu sued his Party, the PDP. Okorocha and Uche Nwosu both sued APC. These things are normal if person(s) feel(s) aggrieved. Even Ikedi Ohakim, Okey Ezeh, Ike C. Ibe, Humphrey Anumudu have all been linked to other parties. Infact, Okey Ezeh went to Social Democratic Party (SDP) and dislodged Mr. Casmir Anyanwu as the guber candidate. Information reaching showed that Okey Eze had been financing SPD and paying for their offices and at the same time pretending to be working for APGA. What Eze did was not only anti party but a show of greed and desperation. What moral justification does he have to accuse APGA leadership of shortchanging him when it runs in his blood to undercut other people.

Contrary to the revelation of Uneze, recent political developments in Imo do not in any way favour the Imo PDP and its candidate, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.

That Uche Onyeagucha drummed support for him is not enough reason for anyone to assert that the pendulum swings to the PDP’s direction. If Onyeagucha felt aggrieved with what transpired within the party and faulted the process, yet decided to support Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha who had to rely on manipulation of the Adhoc delegate list and over voting to win the PDP primary election (as contained in the suit of Senator Samuel Anyanwu), then Onyeagucha should not be taken seriously.

Onyeagucha who was reported to have brokered the deal between Senator Araraume and Gov. Okorocha some days before 2015 knows that the former or the governor of Imo State, Chief Ohakim, are the only aspirants that are most likely to secure victory for APGA in the 2019 elections. Uche Onyeagucha was wrong to claim that Araraume would be worse than Rochas. Of course, we know Senator Araraume and his unquenchable taste for quality. Araraume is one of those few persons Okorocha wouldn't like to have as a successor, because he(Araraume) will recover everything Okorocha has stolen from the state.

Onyeagucha should not be taken seriously at all. He was alleged to be amongst the guber aspirants who had tried to hijack the process but failed. He made many futile attempts to bribe the leadership of the party but was rebuffed. Where are the so-called N-APGA today? Where are Humphrey Anumudu, Ike C Ibe, Okey Eze? Did they endorse Ihedioha only to run away and become the governorship candidates of other parties? These N- APGA guber candidates have all found shelters in political parties they were reportedly funding secretly. What wickedness!
Onyeagucha and my friend, Amby Uneze, should know that this is a battle they cannot win. Ndi Imo will decide who will be their next governor, and the issue of primary election will not be considered at the polling units. Voters will only concentrate on the strength of character of the candidates, their antecedents and willingness and ability to deliver dividends of democracy as a governor, and Senator Ifeanyi Araraume won't be found wanting.

The national leadership of our party may have made some mistakes, yes they human. The National Chairman has however taken responsibility for the actions and shortcomings of party executives across the country. It’s no longer news that aspirants, notably guber aspirants had liaised with Zonal Chairmen of the party in Imo and Abia to hijack the ad hoc delegate forms. We have it on record that the National Chairman was hellbent on ensuring that there was indeed an Adhoc delegate primary election, but members of the SWC of the party in Imo, in accordance with other guber aspirants, opted out of the adhoc delegate primary as against the wish of the National body and further demanded for an harmonized delegate list from the 305 INEC electoral wards in Imo State.

By opting out of the adhoc delegate primary, the gubernatorial aspirants, as well as other aspirants who were in support of this motion, decided to forgo the amounts paid, the time wasted and the sacrifices made in acquiring the adhoc delegate forms.

The decision of the party to sell delegate forms for each political office was to ensure a transparent process and also to ensure that as against what is obtained in other political parties, APGA would be able to produce different delegates for different electoral offices. In other words, those who emerge as delegates for guber primary would be different from the delegates for Senate, House of Reps and House of Assembly. But then again, the guber aspirants in their bid to deliver their federal and house of assembly aspirants decided to hijack the process by purchasing four forms per delegate. Let it be known that all monies paid for delegate forms were paid to APGA’s account with Fidelity Bank whose account like other political parties is periodically audited by INEC.

Calling for the head/resignation of the National Chairman is not what the party needs now. The general election is drawing closer, all aggrieved members should sheathe their swords. Victory for APGA at the polls is victory for all of us. The decision to have Araraume as APGA's governorship candidate may not go down well with some persons, but can the Isiebu-born former Senator wrestle gallantly with the APC and the PDP in Imo and emerge victorious? The answer is yes! He has the capacity to win squarely. Let us support him and work together to move APGA forward. As for what had happened, all of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Religion / Bishop Nelson Nnannah Must Be Cautioned. by Sirkiz: 4:05pm On Aug 09, 2018
BISHOP NELSON NNANNAH MUST BE CAUTIONED.

This is Bishop Nelson Nnannah of Soul Winners Christian Mission celebrating the 'destruction' of an "Evil spirit". What happened to freedom of religion? Why are these so called men of God interested in destroying our sacred shrines; our heritage. Where in the Bible did Jesus destroy shrines? This religious intolerance must STOP! Traditional religion is recognized all over the world, Nigeria inclusive. And as long as the traditionalists do not disturb the Church, why would the Church destroy our shrines?

There is a mosque in Owerri, very close to where I live, if Pastor Nelson Nnannah cannot not destroy it the way he 'destroyed' this shrine, then he is of all men most stupid. No apologies. I have written in the past condemning the burning down of churches by Muslim extremists. Only for the Church to turn around and start destroying our identity.

People of Arondizugo should confront Nelson Nnannah, he is destroying our history. For every shrine, their is a historical story behind it. That story is important to us as a people. Such stories are not found in the Bible, it is a story of who we truly are. These shrines didn't kill our fathers, in fact they lived longer and happier to raise us. The shrines are harmless and there is no reason why Bishop Nelson Nnannah should destroy them. He cannot try this in my village and expect someone like me to allow him go scot free. Mbanu. Freedom and right to religion must be maintained. Worship your God and allow others to do theirs. It is as simple as that.

Nelson Nnannah should not stop at 'destroying' these shrines, he should go ahead and behead believers and worshippers of the shrine just like Elijah did to Baal worshippers and let's see if Kirikiri won't be his abode. The Church is a shrine, any man of God who wishes to destroy a shrine should start with the Church.

It's been long I was looking for this picture to enable me condemn this barbaric act, neocolonial imbalance, and mental ineptitude. After many years of harsh colonial experiences, it's so unfortunate some people chose to be blind because of our common visitor; imported religion.

I'm not happy that a pastor because of his belief and faith in his religion had to terminate and end other people's way of worship simply because of sordid acceptance over his view on Christianity.

This pastor should not because of his toxic understanding of his religion cause a mayhem to human kind. This is inhumane and lacks prognostic religious savvy.

A took a vibrant youth like His Excellency, Emmanuel Macro, President of France and leader of all Francophone Nations to visit Fela Shrine in Nigeria, and of course pay homage to the late Fuji music icon. He observes and respect traditions. This is what we fail to do. Have we actually conducted a research on the importance of that visit? No. We took it to be fun.

Colonial authorities came to Africa, took away our beautiful artifacts and dropped Bible (Christianity) for us. A tool we used to destroy each other. We now have more than one thousand and one churches with different ideologies and doctrines.

Today, science and traditions seems to be in loggerhead. These Nations has witnessed tremendous growth in all ramifications. Scientists tapped from this artifacts to perform miracles. Stopping this shallow mind is vital, not just for success, but for traditional survival.

Lest I forget, early this year, Nigerian minister of information Lai Mohammed announced the return of some traditional artifacts hauled over to Netherlands and some other European countries. Huge amount of tax payers money was paid to return this artifacts back home to decorate of museums. The little that is remaining, this pastor is burning them. He must be stopped by all means.

Linguistic professors, traditionalists, academia, intellectuals et al has placed bounty on this pastor and anybody that can give accurate information of his location shall be rewarded handsomely.

2019 GUBER: STOP CAMPAIGN OF CALUMNY---SamDaddy tells Imo PDP aspirants

--- Says defeating APC remains main target.

By Kizito Duru.

Senator Samuel Anyanwu (SamDaddy), has advised gubernatorial aspirants of the People's Democratic Party, Imo State to desist from lying against one another.

Anyanwu who is a guber aspirant with the PDP in the State, stated this recently at Nwangele, during a consultative meeting with the party leaders of Nwangele Local Government Area. The Senator representing Imo East frowned at the dishonest efforts made by an aspirant within the party to paint black.

The Senate Committee Chairman on ethics, privileges and public petitions, while maintaining that the utmost target of Imo PDP was to return the party to the seat of power in the State, condemned the lies told against him by a gubernatorial aspirant within the party. He asserted that rather than reporting to campaign of calumny, guber aspirants in PDP and other political parties should sell their vision to the people and allow the people to make their choice.

The front line guber aspirant said, "I am sad that someone came here sometime ago and told some lies against me. He said I was sent by Gov Okorocha to destroy PDP and equally called me a fraudster. It is a pity that someone who should tell the people what he would do for them if elected governor decided to attack me instead. I will not be distracted as I am fully committed to ensuring that the vision of the party, which is reclaiming Douglas House in 2019, is actualized. Nwangele people have displayed wisdom by discarding the lies."

The former chairman of Ikeduru Local Government Area, who sought for the support of party leaders of Nwangele LGA vowed to defeat any candidate of the ruling party if he emerges as the candidate of the the PDP.

NNAEMEKA NZENWA FOR IMO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY, IHITTE - UBOMA STATE CONSTITUENCY

By Kizito Duru.

As the 2019 general elections draw closer by the day, aspirants are already buckling their shoes in readiness for the looming challenge. Nnaemeka Nzenwa, is a young and vibrant blood who has presented himself to speak for the good people of Ihitte Uboma State Constituency at the hallowed chambers of the Imo State House of Assembly.

Born into the family of Chief and Lolo G.U Nzenwa from Diabanachiala Ihinna Autonomous Community Ihitte Uboma Local Government Area of Imo State. Nnaemeka Nzenwa began his early academic life at Central School Umuihi where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in grand style. He gained admission into Secondary School- Nwaeruru Mbakwe where he schooled for some time, and displayed academic ingenuity in the process before completing the circle at Comprehensive Secondary School Ihinna Umuihi where he obtained his West African Examination CERTIFICATE (WAEC).

Having been raised in an education savvy family, encouraged by the support of his ever supportive and progressive family, and coupled with his love for academics, Nnaemeka would surely pursue higher education at the Imo State University Owerri [IMSU] where he expectedly proved a bright STAR. He successfully rounded off his first degree in Banking and Finance and proceeded for a post graduate degree in Education at National Teachers' Institute Kaduna and also bagged a Management Certificate at the Nigerian Institute of Management Lagos State.

The hardworking young man briefly had a stint with the banking sector as he served as an account officer, Diamond bank, Lekki branch before he willfully abandoned it in search of his own establishment. Nnaemeka is now the Chief Executive Officer of Nemex Automobile Nigeria Limited; a firm that specializes in Automobile importation, sales, upgrading and services based in Lagos State.

He knows Ihitte - Uboma in and out. He has lived, worked, run businesses, played politics in the local government, it is not out of place to admit that he wears Ihitte - Uboma like the proverbial shoes and indeed knows where it pinches. This is part of other reasons why Ihitte - Uboma youths are eagerly awaiting his official declaration and revelation of the party under whose platform he will contest the position.

In the present dispensation in-which the clamour for active involvement of youths in governance of the day is in the ascendancy, Nnaemeka Nzenwa perfectly fits the bill. Not only is he a vibrant young man, he is educated and experienced. Most importantly, he has the passion to serve his people. Nnaemeka believes that the people of Ihitte - Uboma are in dire need of a strong voice which they currently lack at the House of Assembly. He believes in effective, vibrant, purposeful and people oriented representation. Those who know the gentleman believe that his understanding of problems and solutions to them, as well as good human relationship, place him in the right position to give a responsible and responsive representation to the good people of Ihitte - Uboma if handed the opportunity.

It is time!

Politics / Imo Pdp Press Release by Sirkiz: 8:49pm On Jun 22, 2018
20-06-2018.

PRESS STATEMENT

The attention of the Peoples Democratic  Party (PDP), Imo State  Chapter, has been  drawn to an infantile and atavistic attempt by some paid hirelings  to discredit the image of our indefatigable State  Chairman, Chief (Barr)  Charles Babatunde  Ezekwe (Ikemba  Okigwe), albeit  unsuccessfully.
In the latest onslaught against our Chairman, just like the last futile attempt that received tumultuous public condemnation, the paid urchins alleged that our Chairman master-minded an Oath taking exercise involving some PDP LGA Chairmen in conjunction with a governorship aspirant of our party.
According to their ridiculous account of the childish and non-existent event, the oath taking took place in Umuahia, Abia State, before a river goddess.  These desperadoes equally alleged that Chief Ezekwem in 2014 did same on behalf of Senator Ifeanyi Araraume before the PDP Governorship primaries.
To any rational and discerning mind, this fruitless accusation by a faceless group which styles itself as “Imo PDP Watchdog” is fit only for the garbage bin.  It is unthinkable  that in this 21st century, some people could still resort  to such despicable approach in their blind quest for power, which only  God Almighty can bestow on whomsoever He so wishes.
Our Chairman, Chief (Barr) Charles Babatunde Ezekwem,  is nevertheless, not bothered by this infantile and puerile political gimmick tailored towards arm twisting him and the State Working Committee (SWC) of our party, ahead  of the 2018 Imo  PDP  Governorship primaries.  He remains committed to positively transforming the PDP in Imo State and will NEVER be deterred by the rantings or blackmailous activities of a few mercantile party men, who are propelled by inordinate selfish ambitions.  The PDP can never go back to its vomit.
As a committed party Chairman, Chief Ezekwem had already foreseen this tantrums being hurled at him now becaus to positively carry out a populist revolution in the party might not go down well with some enemies of the PDP within.  The present petty attacks on him have proven him right.
However, the PDP, Imo State unequivocally states that the party under the dynamic leadership of Chief Ezekwem, a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, shall not shy away from its responsibilities to our members and Imo people.
Our Chairman’s purposeful and visionary road map towards repositioning the party and making it a primus inter pares among political parties in Imo State cannot be disrupted under any guise.
The blackmailers and their sponsor should know that as President of the Less Privileged in our Society, Chief Ezekwem enjoys massive support among party members.  He is made of thick skin and has vowed not to succumb to any blackmailous schemes.  He is even waiting for more attacks from these misguided society misfits.
For the avoidance of doubt, Chief Ezekwem remains committed to transparent, credible, free and fair PDP primaries that will ultimately win the goodwill and support of Imo people enroute the occupation of Douglas House, Owerri, come 2019 by a PDP elected governor.  It is in this vein that he has consistently maintained  an open door policy where  all aspirants are accorded  equal treatment  devoid of any discrimination whatsoever as the  rebranded PDP belongs to everybody.
Obviously, some people are not happy with this feat. Associating him with oath taking to coerce people to indulge in reprehensible action, shows how desperate mean and stupid some enemies of the party are.
Ironically, the sponsors of this beer parlour story within the PDP forgot that Chief Ezekwem is the image of PDP in Imo State.  An attack on him tantamounts to an attack on the corporate image of the PDP.  The innocent LGA party Chairmen being linked to this bizarre oath taking activities also represent the effigy of the party at the grassroot.
Like late Prof. Chinua Achebe said “it is only a prodigal son who points at his father’s compound with the left hand”.  These renegades throwing these unnecessary blackmailous punches are prodigal sons in PDP, whose sole aim is to set the party on fire.  But that can’t happen.
Even more appalling is the attribute made to one Chinaemerem, Ezinihitte LGA party Chairman of our party and Chairman of all Chairmen in Imo State, in the whole nonsensical story. Chinaemerem, as an educated man, ought to know that it is only a mad man that sets fire on his own house, turns around with hands akimbo and say, “alas light has come into this house”. He should look well before leaping as the “sound of the bitter kola in the mount, is not how it actually tastes”.
In conclusion, the SWC of our party, while completely dissociating our able Chairman, Chief (Barr) Charles Babatunde Ezekwem (Ikemba Okigwe) and President of the Less Privileged in our Society, from the thoughtless report of oath taking, we advise those peddling the wicked publication “to chew with caution”.
To our knowledge, our Chairman as a devout Christian has no knowledge of any such incident involving any PDP LGA Chairman with any governorship aspirant. It is just a campaign of calumny.
The State Working Committee (SWC) of our great Party further wishes to restate vehemently that there is no organization or group known as “Imo PDP Watchdog”. The purported members of the non-existent group are imposters who have no affiliation or relationship whatsoever with the PDP in Imo State.
Besides, we believe that any aspirant has the right to invite party members to any meeting for cross-pollination of ideas in the interest  of the party. This should not in any way be misconstrued to mean anything untoward against any other party member or even the party itself.
All PDP leaders, stakeholders, members and supporters should therefore, discountenance the activities of the so called and faceless “Imo PDP Watchdog”.  This group, to our knowledge, neither exists nor have any verifiable identification.
They must know that the “slow movement of the crocodile, does not mean it has lost the power to kill”.  We believe that at the appropriate time, nemesis and the law of redistributive justice will catch up with all fifth columnist in PDP.  God shall expose their perfidious acts sooner than later.
Long live PDP, Imo State
Long live, Chief (Barr) Charles Babatunde Ezekwem (Ikemba Okigwe)

Politics / The Many Lies Against Samdaddy And The Truth by Sirkiz: 10:17am On May 28, 2018
THE MANY LIES AGAINST SAMDADDY AND THE TRUTH

By Lancelot Obiaku

Lies if continuously propagated, watered, fertilized and allowed a favourable ambience to thrive, will always attack and dominate truth, thereby causing individuals affected by their peddling to count loses, unreservedly.
Lies are like canker which should not be allowed a space near a priceless wood furniture, else it wreaks damage on it. Hence, no serious minded individual, public figure, group or organization smiles at lies, especially when they are unleashed by mischievous individuals with the intention to damage a reputation or deprive a price.

Since Sen. Samuel Anyanwu (Samdaddy) made his intention to govern Imo State known, a few dissenting voices opposed to this selling idea have been bandying the story that he abdicated his responsibilities as a leader in Imo PDP and sat on the fence when the party in the State was enmeshed in a seemingly intractable leadership crisis between 2016 and 2017. They make comments that he did not identify with the would be victorious Ahmed Markafi faction and other nauseating stuff like that.
I am not here to stop the merchants of lies from plying their trade, however, my interest is to set the records straight for the benefit of those who are being deceived into buying their rotten product.

Samdaddy, being the only elected PDP Senator from Imo State left in the then Markafi faction, signed and submitted the result sheets of the Ward and LGA congresses held in the 9 LGAs of Owerri Zone and Oguta LGA in Orlu Zone, which is a clear endorsement of the officers elected into the various positions of the State Working Committee (SWC). One wonders how he could have done that if he did not believe in the Markafi led national caretaker committee and the Chief Charles Ezekwem led SWC which emerged through a transparent process that he (Samdaddy) helped to organize.

Again, between 2016 and 2017, Samdaddy never stopped making his monthly financial contribution to aid the running of Imo PDP. Therefore, those asking where he was during the struggles should prove with the record available to the party that Samdaddy had fallen short of his obligations to the party, both at the State and national levels. They should also publish how much leaders of Imo PDP contributed to the renting and furnishing of the party's State Headquarters for people to compare and contrast. Samdaddy being a man who knows what it means to be a responsible leader contributed heavily to ensuring that Imo PDP today enjoys a more comfortable head office at 98 Okigwe Road, Owerri.

Furthermore, the propagators of falsehood do not like to mention that Samdaddy alone bankrolled the renting and furnishing of the new Owerri PDP Zonal office, which cost him millions. Funny enough, I never knew that it takes a man who sat on the fence when his political party was in crisis to hire and furnish an office complex for the smooth running of the same party.

Anyone having the above obnoxious notion of Samdaddy is operating in fools paradise. Samdaddy had been and still remains one of the major financiers of Imo PDP and the desperados who have failed in their attempts to pocket the party in the State and their sheepish followers cannot change this fact. Even recently at the inauguration of the Imo PDP Special Citizens Group, Samdaddy donated a brand new Bus and a huge sum of money to the group which comprises people with disabilities; a group which he (Samdaddy) is one of the brains behind. It needs not to be repeated that Samdaddy's ambition to govern Imo State is for the interest of Imo PDP as a party and all imolites in general. No wonder the party began to blossom immeasurably again after his official governorship declaration, as in him, officials and genuine members of the opposition party in Imo have seen the man who has the personality and clout to return Imo PDP to winning ways in 2019.

The pragmatic lawmaker should be given credit instead for not allowing his service to Nigeria as a nation, and more importantly, the good people of Owerri Zone and Imo State to suffer amid the crisis that prevailed in his party. He was good enough to contribute his quota to ensuring that the party came back stronger, yet meeting his obligations as a ranking Senator who is not only the Chairman of a very sensitive Senate committee, but also Vice Chairman of two other committees and member of several others.

Samdaddy does not see the things he does to lift PDP, under whose platforms he rose to prominence politically, as something for public consumption or that which to boast of, and use against other leaders of the party. The Amaimo born seasoned politician is a great team player that is naturally loved by members of his party and the public at large. Perhaps, it is on the realization of this fact that those who feel threatened by his rising profile and popularity have resorted to their infantile mongering of lies against him.

But the Chairman, Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions cares little about all these. This is because he feels certain that those gathered against him to will definitely fall apart, hence any truth hidden under the sun will someday be made open. And of course, the victory of evil over good can only be temporary.

Imo Guber 2019: Every PDP Aspirant is Qualified -- Samdaddy

...Says glory has departed from Okorocha

By Lancelot Obiaku

A frontline governorship aspirant in Imo State and Senator representing Imo East Senatorial District, Sen Samuel Anyanwu (Samdaddy) has stated that his party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) boasts of men who are well qualified to govern the State.

Sen Anyanwu made the statement on Saturday during his consultative visit to leaders of the party and statutory ward delegates from the Okigwe senatorial zone of the State, in line with his governorship ambition.

The former local government Chairman maintained that the party in the State was blessed with credible leaders and elites capable of leading the eastern heartland to greater heights.

The lawmaker insisted that delivering the State from the clutches of the ruling APC is a task PDP must accomplish in 2019.

However, he noted that to achieve this, the party must field a candidate that is popular and capable of winning the general election.

The two time House of Assembly member said that he has the qualities, ahead of others, to win the support of majority of Imo people and return PDP back to the summit of leadership in the State.

The ranking Senator who lamented that the present administration of governor Rochas Okorocha has taken Imo State backwards, developmentally and otherwise, posited that the glory of God has departed from his administration.

"Let me tell you, God is angry with them. The glory has departed, that is why they are making a lot mistakes", he averred.

The Chairman, House Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, reitrated that his governorship aspiration is divine and motivated by a burning desire to place Imo State back to the pride of place, as it was in the time of late Samuel Mbakwe.

MAJA WILL RETURN GOVERNMENT TO THE PEOPLE—— Edoziem.

by Kizito Duru

A chieftain of the Mass Action Joint Alliance (MAJA), has assured Nigerians that the party is committed to causes that will uplift the people and unite the nation.

Comrade Nobleiyke Edoziem said this in Abuja, after the party's maiden convention. Edoziem revealed that since the return of democracy in the country, the people are yet to comfortably enjoy the dividend of democracy, as a result of poor governance characterized with corruption and looting of public fund.

Comrade Edoziem, who was elected as the party's National Deputy Publicity Secretary at the convention assured Nigerians that the party is poised to taking over the reins in Aso Rock, but stress that it can only be achieved with the full support of the electorates.

The Imo State born politician urged Nigerians to get their PVCs and vote for the MAJA party, which according to him, will return government to the people.

" MAJA party is the only party in Nigeria that has a human being as her logo. It is an indication that we are interested in the development of human, through quality education and skill acquisition"

"This party will return power to the people. It is one of the reasons why it was formed. I urge Nigerians to get their PVCs and vote for the candidates of Mass Action Joint Alliance if they want to reform the pitiable condition of this country" Edoziem opined.

Support another Sam Mbakwe: SamDaddy Urges Okigwe zone

By Sixtus Ihentuge

In continuation of creating awareness for his governorship ambition, the most outstanding Imo PDP guber candidate, Senator Samuel Anyanwu paid a consultation visit to the PDP leaders in Okigwe zone on Saturday, 28th April 2018. The gathering housed men and women of high repute in the state, who attested to have worked and enjoyed team spirit and good rapport with the Senator.

Addressing the audience, the Senator reiterated that his guber ambition was never induced by the State governor as people wrongly insinuated. Rather, he was divinely touched, and pushed by the need to bring back power to the people for it is theirs. The PDP governorship aspirant also advised his supporters to shun hate speech on his opponents both from and outside the party, saying that all aspirants in their individual capacities are qualified to be the governor of the State.

Furthermore, he encouraged his supporters to remain resolute in their support because, he would contribute his quota and the rest shall be done by God.

"Your support will not be in vain, I shall contribute my quota and God, the author of the devine mandate will crown our endeavors with victory".

The strong spirited Senator reasured the people of Okigwe zone that he has never failed in any election since he joined politics with the mindset of giving service to the people.

In conclusion, he promised good governance both at the local and State levels; he vowed to follow the leadership trails of late Sam. Mbakwe - "another Sam Mbakwe has come in the name of Samuel Anyanwu to liberate Imo, and it takes your support to enthrone him"

IMO GUBER 2019: MY AMBITION ORDAINED BY GOD–—SAMDADDY.

By Kizito Duru.

The Senator representing Imo East senatorial district, Samuel Anyanwu (Samdaddy), has said that his guberbatorial ambition is divinely ordained and fully supported by the people of Imo State.

Samdaddy, who is a guber aspirant with the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Imo State, said this when he received the Council of Registered Political Parties In Nigeria(CRPPN), Imo State chapter, in his Owerri residence.

The Legislator told the members of CRPPN, who had come to commend his stand on hate speech, that his ambition is a divine assignment to restore the glory days of the State. He opined that the numerous support his candidacy has generated was not a surprise to him.

Samdaddy said " My ambition has the backing of the Most High God and the support of Imolites. I am on a divine mandate, this is why the massive support my candidacy is generating is not a surprise to me"

The Chairman, Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges, revealed that he was on a mission to return smiles to the faces of Imolites who are fed up with governance of the State. He pleaded with the Chairmen of the political parties to always consider the interest of the State in their decisions.

"Irrespective of our political affiliations, we must always consider the interest and progress of the State in all we do. I have the State at heart and I can assure you, if I become the next governor of the State, my government will accommodate everybody. "

THE IMPLICATION OF SAMDADDY'S GUBER AMBITION IN IMO PDP

Kizito Duru.

As far as today's Imo PDP is concerned, two names that easily come to mind when the race for the party's 2019 Imo guber ticket is discussed are, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha and Sen Samuel Anyanwu (Samdaddy), with the latter having thrown his hat into the ring just last month. Over the years, the two political gladiators have made name for themselves both at the state and national levels, hence, no one can doubt that the two giants from Owerri Zone are qualified and ripe to govern Imo State. While Ihedioha had risen to the height of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and was the flag bearer of his party for the 2015 governorship polls in the State, Samdaddy on his own is currently a ranking Senator in the 8th Assembly, while representing Imo East Senatorial District as well as occupying a sensitive position as Chairman, Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges.

Apparently, before the entrance of the Ikeduru born Senator into the guber race, it had appeared that, all things being equal, Hon. Ihedioha will have a smooth ride when the opposition party holds her governorship primary election later this year. But with the current turn of events, this might not be the case any longer. In Samdaddy, Ihedioha is probably sure of a strong competitor in the race for the party's ticket. Aside being a Senator who is sure to have assess to the powers that be within the party both at the state and national levels, Samdaddy seems to be enjoying better mass appeal.

Admittedly, it has been rumoured and speculated in some quarter that the governorship interest nursed by Samdaddy is somewhat motivated by Emeka Ihedioha's alleged preference of Hon. Ezenwa Francis Onyewuchi for the Senatorial seat of Owerri zone. However, while the above might not be politically correct and whatever the case may be, Samdaddy's rising popularity and seemingly wide acceptance are testimonies that he is not in the race for a vendetta mission but to win the party's ticket and the subsequent general election. Notably, Samdaddy's coming into the contest gives room for a healthy competition in Imo PDP, as it reassumes the position of wielding an umbrella large enough to accommodate as many people as possible.

To blot out the disappointments coming the way of Imo PDP since 2007 and to ensure that the party is not labeled a serial loser, there is a pertinent need to present someone whose charisma, aura and personality appeal to the majority of Imolites. Ousting a sitting governor that wants to produce a successor is not a fight PDP will go in with an unpopular candidate. Senator Samuel Anyanwu represents everything the party needs to return to winning ways, he understands the politics of the State.

Before the public declaration of his guber ambition at the party's State Secretariat, the All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA) was tipped by political analysts and commentators to be the favorite to produce the next governor of the State. But Since Senator Samuel Anyanwu made his intention known, the Imo PDP has experienced a return of those that were hitherto disenchanted with the way the party was dubbed a "One Man Party". PDP as a party has once again regained full support from its supporters. In Samdaddy, PDP faithful are looking beyond the primary election to reclaiming its status as the ruling party, by reclaiming Douglas House.

Having listened and heard the cries of his people, Senator Anyanwu, a man on a mission, have decided to take the bull by the horn by making Imo one of the best governed states in Nigeria.

Senator Anyanwu's main aim is to make Imo a free society. Having the full knowledge that to give up the task of reforming the society is to give up one's responsibility as a free man according to Alan Paton, Samdaddy, as he is popularly referred to, is not looking back on this task.

Samdaddy wants to build Imo into an open society. Great societies are not measured by the amount of wealth they accumulate but by how they treat their poor. He wants Imolites to smile again after several years of living in agony occasioned by the previous administration.

Samdaddy wants to devolve power to the lowest level and different aspects of the society. A Wise Man was quoted to have asked "The great question which in all ages, has disturbed mankind and brought on them the greatest part of those mischiefs which have ruined cities, depopulated countries, and disordered the peace of the world, has been, not whether there be power in the world...but who should have it."

The senator, is aspiring to occupy the Douglas House so that he will give people the opportunity to have control over their lives. No one ever finds life worth living - he has to make it worth living. How will people make their life worth living if a leader leaves governance and begin to pursue shadows?

Leo Roster once observed that "The purpose of life is not to be happy - but to matter, to be productive, to be useful, to have it make some difference that you have lived at all."

Samdaddy wants to give every Imolite the opportunity to contribute his own quota to the overall development of the state. It will be government by the people and for the people and not by a person and for a few.

With this mission accomplished, he will strengthen all of our communities by inspiring our citizens to be part of the governance, using available human and natural resources.

Remember the words of John F. Kennedy, "If a free society cannot help the many who are poor; it cannot save the few who are rich."

Issue Based Politics and Samdaddy's Hate for Hate Speech

By Lancelot Obiaku

The Senator representing Imo East Senatorial District and front line governorship aspirant in Imo State, Sen. Samuel Anyanwu (Samdaddy) has been in the news lately, mostly for the right and positive reasons. Three days ago, the ranking Senator of the federal republic addressed a press conference at his residence wherein he expressed displeasure at the extent to which politics of bitterness and the unguided utterances that accompany it have threatened to destroy completely what binds us together as a people.

Addressing newsmen, the Ikeduru born Senate Committee Chairman on Ethics and Privileges said: "A few words spoken in anger can quickly destroy a long lasting relationship. For no matter how sorry you are thereafter, the memory of your barbed remarks may leave a lasting scar. Unfortunately, these presentations and descriptions of one’s character, handwork, goodwill in a pulse and deliberate political propaganda in order to gain advantage of the opponent, either by the principle of his/her agents and followers is not retractable until the death of the victim"

The handsome lawmaker went on: "I remember with nostalgia in 1979 when politics was played like football. The spirit of sportsmanship made the loser a friend who would crack a joke over the loss. He was a friendly loser and a brother and never a foe. However, today’s party politics has presented us with an opposite of events and politics of those glorious good days. As much as we did not have a perfect period then, our period has developed a hydra-headed and mixture of desperation, cash based and hate speeches with its attendant attrition and animosity leading to murder and murder of political opponents.
"It has brought family members to destroy family bond and unity. It has pitched church members against each other. It has brought an end long standing childhood friendship to an abrupt end. It has even divided the closely knitted Communities, Towns, Local Governments, Zones in a State into permanent suspicious neighbours and brothers within a State", he noted.

Frankly speaking, in the present political dispensation in Imo State and Nigeria by extension, it is rare to find an aspirant for any elective public office who is as interested in issue based campaigns and against blackmails and lethal attacks on supposed political enemies as Senator Anyanwu. He set a pace which only a few politicians in our clime will be courageous enough to follow when he pledged to the Imo populace and Nigeria at large that there will not be any form of hate speech from him throughout the electoral process of 2018/2019 and thereafter; and also, he warned his supporters not to do so, as anyone among his supporters found culpable of hate speech or blackmail against any of his opponents and fellow aspirants and their supporters, will be publicly disowned by his Divine Mandate Campaign Organisation.

The Senator's comment comes with certain cogent implications. If analysed objectively, his statesman-like statement is good enough to portray him as one who is not desperate for power. It could further indicate that his guber ambition could not have been motivated by quest for personal aggrandizements but the need to render genuine service to Imo State and her people. The peace loving Samdaddy neither wants his ambition to land his supporters in trouble sparked by inter-camp clashes, nor does he want any Imo man or woman to be hurt or harmed, physically or emotionally, as he seeks the support and votes of the Imo electorate to assume the reins of leadership at the government house. He has by this recent submission also laid it bare before Imo people that he does not belong to the selfish clique of use-and-dump politicians who have ruined many people, especially the youths.

Many can agree with me that the smartest politician is not the one who deploys unsavoury and obnoxious means to achieve political success, even if it means crushing anyone who stood in the way. Smarter politicians work very hard to increase their support base and enjoy more of the people's goodwill. A good leader also does not get obsessed with his own gains, but is concerned about what his followers will gain and what they will not lose, hence leadership tussle should not be a do or die affair.

Today, the exemplary Samdaddy, a former local government Chairman and House of Assembly lawmaker, has set a commendable pace in the governorship race in Imo. His words are courageous, progressive and assuring of a classy leader and well refined politician: "Imo is the issue and our campaign for Imo should be issue based. After election there is life. Life does not begin and end in a contest".
.
When it is time to choose, Imolites should choose wisely!

Politics / Re: Who Is Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, Politically? by Sirkiz: 2:10pm On Mar 31, 2018
RE: WHO IS SENATOR IFEANYI ARARAUME, POLITICALLY?

By Kizito Duru.

No matter the level of hatred you may have for Onwuasoanya Jones' inconsitency, one thing you must admire and acknowledge that stands him out is his ability to write and present his arguments logically to a point that you begin to appreciate the beauty of language, especially on issues related to politics. In doing so, Onwuasoanya would turn half truth to truth and make a big lie half truth. As a painter, he has also learnt the art of painting words.

However, the prolific writer from Akokwa, who in his recent essay, took on the person of Senator Ifeanyi Ararume and his political sojourn, had a terrible outing as he, in a bid to chastise the APC chieftain in the state, unknowingly painted the politician personality as one larger than life. I must at this point state that I am not the spokesman of the former parliamentarian, but having read the rejoinder from Awurum Darlington, the mouthpiece of Senator Ararume on social media, to Onwuasoanya's article, I saw the compelling need to take on Onwuasoanya on some of the lies he told against the Senator that Awurum Darlington didn't notice or perhaps didn't deem it necessary to refute.

Ararume's political story gained prominence in 1999, when he pulled a political masterstroke by becoming, against all odds, the Senate flag bearer of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Imo North Federal Constituency and subsequently won the election. To Onwuasoanya, a man who exercised his constitutional right of Freeman of Association by decamping from All Peoples Party(APP) and negotiated his way to the PDP just few days before the party held its primaries for its National Assembly candidates and came out victorious, isn't a political figure to reckon with. As young as Ararume was then and supposedly inexperienced politically to contend with the big names with the PDP fold , he was still able to show the stuff he was made of by proving his doubters wrong, thus becoming the face of the next generation politicians Imo State would later have. In 2003, Ararume who had had a meteoric political growth won his second term election with relative else.

As a Senator, Senator was a household name, he was always leading moves that will advance the development of the country, especially the South East region, alongside Senator Uche Chukwumerije of blessed memory. Contrary to the false narrative by Onwuasoanya, Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, having enjoyed a cordial relationship with Senator Evan Enwerem when the duo where with the APP before their defection to the PDP, supported in many ways, the emergence of Senator Evan Enwerem of Imo East as the first president of the Nigerian Senate during Nigeria's Fourth Republic. Former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, convinced by Senator Ararume, who was his bossom friend and eyes at the Senate, backed Enwerem for the President of the Senate against Chuba Okadigbo. With the support of Obasanjo's allies, led by Senator Ifeanyi Araraume in the governing party, plus support from two Nigerian opposition parties, including APP, Enwerem easily defeated Okadigbo with 66 votes to Okadigbo's 43 votes.

Enwerem's inability to last long as the number three citizen of the country had NOTHING to do with Senator Araraume. There was an allegation that bothers on falsification of name, and caused controversies as to whether the real name of Enwerem was Evan or Evans. Ararume was not even a member of the committee that was set up by the Senate to look into the case. The report from the committee indicted Enwerem of falsity, hence his removal, which was spread headed by the allies of Okadigbo. I am sure that Onwuasoanya, as a voracious reader, knows this piece of history but decided to tell the story to suit his pay master(s). Assuming without conceding that Senator Ararume plotted the ousting of Senator Evan Enwerem as the Senate President, was he also the one that planned for the removal of Chuba Okadigbo; Enwerem's successor, who didn't last upto a year as the Senate President? The story and reasons why nobody from South East lasted long as the President of the Red Chamber will be told another day, if work permits.

During the ill fated bid to amend the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria allegedly to allow the then President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo to qualify for a third term in office. Senator Ararume was there to pay a big and important role. For Obasanjo to sideline the leadership of the Senate and opted to work directly with Senator Ararume over other Senators in the house, is a pointer to the political pedigree, gut, clout and impetus of the Isiebu born politician.

But even the astronomical amount of money given to Senator Ararume by Chief Obasanjo wasn't enough to buy the conscience of the distinguished Senator. Ararume was aware that the fate of all Nigerians was in his hand and as a man of unquestionable integrity, he declined to sacrifice the future of the country at the altar of the robust friendship he shares with the ex President. For Ararume to have challenged Obasanjo as at that time when Obasanjo was the supreme political leader in the country and no one dares him, speaks volume of who Ararume is, politically.

In 2007, Ararume declared interest to run for the governship ticket of the Imo PDP. As against the Onwuasoanya narrative that was tilted with prejudice. Ararume, not Tony Ezenna, was the overwhelming favourite to pick the much coveted ticket, and on the 13th of December, 2006,Senator Ararume, despite internal conspiracy, won the premaries by scoring the highest number of votes(2069). To confirm the conspiracy, the party's National Working committee (NWC), in an unprecedented political manoeuvering, replaced Senator Ararume's name with that of Chief Charles Ugwu, who was not even the first runner up. Of course Araraume would have none of that. Rightfully he proceeded to courts in search of Justice. He fought his legal battles gallantly with his lawyers against the party's NWC. Justice smiled on him, and he was reinstalled as PDP gubernatorial candidate.

But Obasanjo, who vowed to get his pound of flesh from Ararume, was frustrating every progress made by the Distinguished Senator, as a leader of the PDP. At a point, Obasanjo was alleged to have publicly anounced that the party had no candidate in Imo State. At the election day, there was desperation from the powers that be to find someone, even if from another party, to 'anoint' as the next governor of the State, and the candidate of Peoples Progressive Alliance (PPA) was the chosen one. That was how Senator Ararume lost out but as a dogged fighter, he choose to go to the tribunal, Appeal and Supreme courts but Unfortunately for him, some monsters were somewhere pressing some dirty legal buttons against him.

Fast forward to 2014, Ararume had rejoined the Peoples Democratic Party after so much apologies from the party. In his characteristic undying spirit, Ararume declared to once again contest for the party's governship ticket, having ran with ACN in 2011. Ararume came up against the likes of Chief Emeka Ihedioha, Chief Ikedi Ohakim, Hon Bethel Amadi, Senator Chris Anyanwu etc. Chief Ihedioha was declared winner of the exercise that was mared with controversies. The number of total votes were more than the number of accredited delegates. Ararume, who has never lost any election at the premaries, sensed foul play and headed to the court to challenge the result of the primary election.

Chief Emeka Ihedioha, knowing how powerful and influential Isiebu born politician is, was reaching to him to drop his case at the tribunal but Senator Ararume, a no nonsense person, wasn't in for such pleads, all he wanted was Justice. It was at this point that the crafty Rochas Okorocha crept in and took advantage of the situation to his favour. Aides to the former parliamentarian(Ararume) reported that the governor personally drove his wife and top members of his cabinet to Ararume's house at late hours of the night and pleaded to form a political synergy with Ararume, a pleaded the Senator considered, perhaps in other have his revenge against PDP in the state. The Save My Soul visit from Okorocha to Ararume changed the political permutations which was hitherto favouring Ihedioha, but with Ararume's decision to pitch tent with Okorocha, the odds began to favour Okorocha.

Onwuasoanya was right when he noted that Okorocha lost in Ararume's Local Government Area; Isiala Mbano, but failed to also acknowledge the slim difference in the number of votes APC and PDP got in the guberbatorial election. PDP got 13725 as against APC's 13282. That difference wasn't even enough to cancel out one local government out of the five Local Governments Ararume delivered for APC in Okigwe Zone. Isiala Mbano LGA is a strong hold of Imo PDP and for Senator Ararume to rub shoulders with the PDP at the LGA and ensuring that PDP's victory in the Local Government was inconsequential owing to the sight difference shows that he knows the right buttons to press. Okorocha at his Inaugural speech after 2015 election public acknowledge the efforts and influence of Senator Ararume in his reelection. If Rochas Okorocha could acknowledge the weight of Araraume, politically, isn't Jones kidding by stating otherwise?

During the Imo North Federal Constituency Re-run election, Distinguished Senator Ararume made it known that he was going to support Benjamin Uwajimogu with his Destiny campaign Organization. He made it clear that Uwajimogu was going to be the next Senator of Okigwe Zone. Even at a time when the governor showed less concern to deliver his party, Ararume was at the heart of everything good to ensure that he, once again, stamped his authority as one of the top political leaders in the Zone. It was not a surprise to political commentators when Uwajimogu against all hurdles defeated Senator Athan Nneji Achonu of PDP. To buttress this point, when the relationship between Senator Ararume and Gov Okorocha giy sour, Senator Uwajimogu without giving it a second thought aligned himself with the lion from Isiebu. Do you think that if Senator Ararume had not proven his mettle to Senator Uwajimogu, politically, that former speaker would abadone a state governor for a former Senator? Onwuasoanya, Think!

I do not know Onwuasoanya as one who enjoys writing about less about people and things. For the fact that you have chosen to attack the soft spoken Senator Ararume shows that he is a thorn in the flesh of the Rescue Mission Government, which you are not comfortable with. Okorocha is having sleepless nights and thoughtful days on how best to handle and tame the combatant Senator. It seems all he could thinker is to tarnish the image of the Distinguished Senator through media attack from your likes but Awurum Darlington and other media handlers of Senator Ararume are also giving you overdose of what you demanded. Ararume, as a political Ijele, will ensure, for the first time in Imo APC, Party primary elections to decide who bears the party's flag for various elective positions at the general elections. This will not be a repeat of what happened of what happened in 2014, when Emperor Okorocha; the supreme leader came back from Abuja, having lost the Presidential ticket of APC, to collect the governorship ticket from his Son In law; Uche Nwosu.

The last time I checked, Ararume was still a member and a leader of All Progressive Congress (APC) same as you. Isn't it against the party's rules for you to be castigating a leader of your party in public? Do you really know what it means to be a card carrying member of a political party? Unfortunately for you and those that sent you, Senator Ararume is not only a firm believer in the Maxism " Action Speaks Louder than voice" but also a conformist to the axiom "Silence is Golden". He will keep the Rescue Mission family in suspense until he accomplishes his mission. There is only one way to stop Distinguished Senator Ifeanyi Araraume and that is to win him at the primaries but even Rochas as a sitting governor knows what it takes to go into such battle with the lion of Isiebu and come out victorious, hence the unwarranted and untimely media attack. To Senator Ararume, his critics will always have their say while he, despite all forms of blackmail and propaganda will have his way!

Politics / My Goodwill Massage To The Entire People Of Ehime Mbano. by Sirkiz: 6:32am On Dec 25, 2017
MY GOODWILL MASSAGE TO THE ENTIRE PEOPLE OF EHIME MBANO.

My dearest people of EHIME MBANO, it is with heart full of joy that I send you this goodwill massage of love, oneness and better understanding.
This year is gradually coming to an end and individually we must have encountered serious challenges or still facing challenges that are to hard for us to bear, but then we must acknowledge the fact that our Good God has been merciful to us. Our decision and targets from the beginning of this year might not have been fulfilled or fulfilled half way, our trusted friends must have disappointed us,we must have lost love ones, all these not withstanding, that we are alive today remains the greatest miracle.

Ehime Mbano remains our home and we as a people must at this time review our stand, and our commitment on those things that will make EHIME MBANO move forward.

A proper analysis of our possibility to move EHIME Mbano forward will be shadow pushing if we under estimate the importance of repositioning Ehime Mbano politically, our inability to re- examine our position and our take home in this present political dispensation will surely minus us from any of our positive articulation to move EHIME Mbano forward.
Ehime Mbano as a local Government must as at this time look at our strength both in natural resources and human resources, this will definitely serve as an advise in taking decision on our political stand and what is our priority at any particular time.
Reasoning from the afro mentioned let us look at the following.

1.WHAT IS OUR TAKE HOME?

While we hasting our thinking and make believe to join the political train of 2019,we must review our "take home" In the politics of 2015 . Yes while we gallop on the present political dispensation as par economic recession, and business uncertainty we most not fail to agree we have people whom we voted to represent us and as a political economist, I see them as our contribution and our "take home" from the politics and government of the federal Republic of Nigeria,
Such "take home" include all those representing us at the various arms of government, be it Local Government , House of Assembly , commissioner's, House of Representatives House of Senate, Federal Board etc.
We must at this point in time call for their score card and if done those that have done well should be encouraged and supported to go in again come, 2019 and those who have failed will now be at the mercy of our vote and our collective decision, irrespective of social and political affiliation. For example our immediate past T. C Chairman Hon. Chike orjiako humbled me by his positive articulation and uncompromising commitment as a Chairman in moving EHIME Mbano forward.
Now that we have have a new T. C, I pray he consolidates on the already positive initiative of Hon chike orjiako. Let us leave blame game politics and encourage all these that we identified as our " take home" to perform.

2) ASSESSMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES POTENTIAL AT OUR DISPOSAL.

For our local Government to achieve our desired dream, we as people must use the best we have to get the best we want. Political sentiment in the past has always been giving us half baked politicians who can't even offer anything good to themselves talk less of adding value to our local Government, the question remains, why do we prefer half baked selfish politicians who a morally minus instead of trained, disciplined political technocrats who will bring the much needed political dividends to our people? , Another question is this, can we continue like this? The answer is capital NO! Then what do we do? We must as a people restrategise by identifying our best political personalities, present them, encourage them, and vote them in and the time is now.

3.WE MUST LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES IN THE LAST ELECTION.

No matter how focus and determined we are to reposition EHIME Mbano of our desired dream, our past mistakes must be acknowledge, and
active and passive politicians in Ehime Mbano are in the picture of how our excesses and disunity among us denied us some of the key political position we are supposed to get, may such not happen again , let us advance at making sure we have a better political understanding irrespective of our political affiliation and personal interest.

I pray may the Good Lord, give us the pure mind to understand one another so as to project that which will unite us together.

HAPPY XMAS AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR IN ADVANCE.

THANKS.

AMB. OKEY FORTUNE IWUOHA.

Religion / Tithe, Men Of God And The Rest Of Us by Sirkiz: 8:30am On Nov 10, 2017
TITHE, MEN OF GOD AND THE REST OF US.

BY Duru Kizito

A statement credited to the General overseer of Redeemed Christian Mission Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has gone viral on social media. The Clergyman allegedly claimed that one’s refusal to pay tithe to the church attracts divine curse on the person. Opinions so far have been divided, but with many social media opinion moulders and influencers lashing out and hitting hard on the Pastor.

Ordinarily, I would not have bothered myself reacting to Adeboye’s claim, for it does not in any way concern the average Nigerian who is on the street hustling to make ends meet. There are so many pertinent and mind boggling issues that beggar attention from writers and to me, I don’t see tithe as one of the serious problems or challenges of the country. But for clarity sake and out of my love to always contribute to trending issues and topics, I shall proceed to voice my opinion, view and argument about tithes.

I have not read anywhere in the holy Book of Christians (the Bible) where followers of Christ were enjoined, admonished or charged to pay tithes to Pastors or Priests. Equally, all through the biblical life account of Jesus Christ, there was no indication of any event Where He paid tithe to any high Priest (I stand to be corrected). One is now left to ponder on the hype our so called men of God give to tithes, as if it the hallmark of Christianity and Spirituality. This hype, unfortunately and eventually, has been bought hook, line and sinker by unsuspecting and perhaps gullible church goers, who continuously see modern day men of God as God of men. A holier than thou friend of mine even went as far as saying that what Bishop Adeboye said was the voice of God. To her, God, not Bishop Adeboye, has promised to curse anyone who does not pay his or her tithe. When I tried to talk sense to her numskulls, she told me not to question some certain things concerning God. Would you blame her? She has been brain washed by those who still want to enrich their already deep pocket from her tithe.

Nobody should be deceived with the notion that God should not be questioned. Our men of God should stop making God look like a dictator whose actions cannot be questioned. If we can politely question some actions and activities of our earthly fathers, what then stops Christians from questioning God, especially when things turn out ugly in their lives? I am not an ardent bible reader but I am fully aware that in the Old Testament of the bible, King Hezekiah was told he had no chance of survival from his illness by Prophet Isaiah. Immediately, King Hezekiah went up to his room and questioned God’s decision to allow him die despite serving him in truth and in prefect heart. God heard his prayers and commanded the same Prophet Isaiah to go back to King Hezekiah and pronounce life on his head, that wasn’t enough, God also added fifteen more years to him. Dear Christian, who believes that God shouldn’t be questioned, would King Hezekiah have gotten the approval to continue living and even additional fifteen years if he had not questioned God? Some of our Pastors have taught us to embrace negative occurrences in our lives as God’s will which is most unfortunate.

No doubt, God admonished us to pay our tithes, but not necessarily to our Pastors. There is no better way to pay your tithes than helping the needy and less privileged ones around you. God loves charity, charity to indigent persons, not to those who have three private jets, yet they preached against deep love for earthly possessions. They do not believe nor practice what they preach, their major interest seem to be how to enrich themselves more with proceedings from the shallow pockets of their followers. A bosom friend to pastor Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo of Winners Chapel International, owns covenant University, a tertiary institution that most of his church member cannot afford the school fees of the university for their children, but and sadly, the university was built from the tithes of the same men and women whose children’s dreams of attending the school have been cut short, owing to the astronomical figure the school collects as school fees. Adeboye has not commented on it and you want to tell me that the big joke is not on him?

If Pastor-Prenuers like Adeboye, Oyedepo, T.B. Joshua, Chris Okotie, and Chris Oyakilome etc. channel their tithe towards bettering the lives of poor masses, I can assure you, so many people will be instantaneously rich. What these Pastor-Prenuers earn in a month runs in billions, yet some of their church members are struggling for three square meals every day. The irony is that, in pursuance of their unending drama, they would still pay their tithe in their churches, the same churches that they dictate and oversee how the finance is managed. Who is deceiving who? I have a friend who assisted two of my friends by paying their school fees this year, to each, he gave Fifty Thousand Naira and I am sure he does not pay his tithe. If my friend had deposited the hundred thousand naira in the waiting hands of his pastor as tithe, who would have helped my friends with their school fees? But to Adeboye, my friend is a cursed person because he decided not to enrich his already rich Pastor through his tithe but has channeled his wealth towards helping young men by shaping the academic life and future. Please someone should help me tell Bishop Adeboye that the big joke is on him.

This is 21st century, one cannot because he commands large number of followers, feel that he can spew gibberish and expect everybody to applaud him. Why is Adeboye so concerned with tithe and issues surrounding it? What last did he speak against the killing of Christians in Nigeria? Like my friend Charles Ogbu questioned through his facebook post, Ogbu wrote: Right here before our very own eyes, a Christian Pastor, Mrs. Eunice Elisha, was butchered here in Kubwa, FCT, by a Muslim Mob, simply for preaching her gospel along a street that also houses a mosque. This woman was a Pastor with the RCCG. And she was not killed in a Sharia practicing states like Zamfara, Kano e.t.c. She was dismembered right here in Nigeria’s capital city of Abuja. As I write this, no one has been arrested for her death, one year after. No one! Pastor Enoch Adeboye is the owner of RCCG. The slain woman was his Pastor, yet, Adeboye and the other Pastor-prenuers saw no evil and they heard no evil. Their voices travelled for Omugwo.

A Pastor’s wife, Mrs. Bridget Agbahime was slaughtered in Kano by a Muslim mob for asking her Muslim neighbor not to do ablution in front of her shop. President Buhari didn’t categorically condemn her murder. Instead, he admonished us to learn to respect other people’s religion. Five of the Muslim guys who killed Mrs. Bridget were apprehended and charged to court by the police, only for the sharia practicing government of Kano state to officially withdraw the charges and declare that the killers had no case to answer. That was the end. Again Bishop Adeboye and the other Pastor-Preneurs saw no evil and heard no evil. Their vices again traveled for Omugwu.
The people of southern Kaduna are 95% Christians. Since Buhari came to power, Fulani terrorists have been organizing festival of death for them. Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai who himself is a Muslim fanatic; publicity admitted paying these Fulani beasts cash “compensations”.

The army and the police all headed by Muslims seem more comfortable aiding abetting these bloodbath. Yet again, Bishop Adeboye and the other Pastor-Prenuers saw no evil and they heard no evil with the exception of Oyedepo who spoke just once and Apostle Suleiman who spoke number-less time against the killings. In all these, Pastor Enoch Adeboye was comprehensively and emphatically SILENT.
He has spoken just twice. The first time was when the government wanted to take away his post as the General overseer through some reforms. Second time is now that he is allegedly threatening divine curse against those who refuse to pay tithe. Adeboye never threatened divine curse against the marauding herdsmen raining death on mostly Christian dominated area. He has never threatened divine curse on those looting our money and milk our treasury dry. He has no threatened divine curse on the political terrorists masquerading as government.

In all we do, wisdom should be the principal thing and I am elated that people, Nigerians, are beginning to seriously juxtapose the life styles of some men of God and what they preach on the pulpit. If one thinks the key to success and prosperity lies in paying tithes promptly, let the fellow continue to pay tithe, I don’t have an issue with that. But we should all frown at the claim of Bishop Adeboye. Those that do not pay their tithe but render sincere financial help to people are not and will not be cursed by any spiritual being, even Bishop Adeboye knows this.

TRUTH IS BITTER BUT AS BITTER AS HONEY.

Romance / Is Wet Dream Spiritual Or Natural? by Sirkiz: 1:57pm On Sep 25, 2017
IS WET DREAM SPIRITUAL OR NATURAL?

Duru Kizito.

I was talking with a friend yesterday and at a point when I started enjoying the healthy banter, he looked at his wrist watch, screamed and quickly excused himself. My curiosity couldn't allow me, for I felt something strange in the manner he left our never to end discussion, I traced him, only to find him praying silently, I stopped and wondered what could have necessitated they midday prayer from my friend whom I cannot even remember the last time he went to church.

When he came out, I looked at him quizzically, he smiled and decoded the question in my eyes that beggars answer, we sat and he whispered to me that he has a spiritual wife. Mouth agape, I asked him how he got to such conclusion, he told me that of recent he has been experiencing wet dreams and he confided the experience to his elder brother, whom I learnt is a prayer warrior and he(the elder brother) told my friend that wet dream is a strong sign of one being spiritually married; that it was abnormal for a Christian to experience wet dreams, therefore my friend was subjected to one week mid-day prayer to cast out the demon of marine spirit following him. I asked him how often he experiences that to which he responded once weekly. I laughed, not at him but to his elder brother who has allowed spirituality to blindfold him from the realities of natural occurrence. I took my friend to a pub, gave him a bottle of beer and charged him to stop the prayer and fasting immediately, I told him that at his age, he would have been in trouble, health wise, if he had not been having wet dreams.

Wet dreams are part of growing up. There's nothing you can do to control or stop wet dreams. When you go through puberty, your body starts producing the male hormone testosterone. Once your body makes testosterone, it can release sperm. This means you'll be able to fertilize an egg if you decide to have a baby in the future. It also means you can get a girl pregnant if you have sex. This is biological and natural, it has no spiritual undertone just like midnight erection of the penis. If it is natural for the penis to maintain nocturnal doggedness even when one is unconscious of it, it is also so for the erection to be succeeded will mind blowing non sinful ejaculation that leaves you with a feeling of a super man in the morning. According to my research, natural night ejaculation refreshes your mind and pumps more energy to your arteries and veins for the task of the day.

Notably, wet dream does not literally connote sex in the dream, far from that and that is why some guys feel joyfully disappointed, especially one who passed a night at a friend's house without any provision for another underwear, the joy is in the knowledge that your staff of office has not lost its potency to stand firm when 'challenges' come and the disappointment is that it came at the time they least expected.

Wet dreams are normal. They are believed to happen when the body is not getting release from the hormonal build up of the teen years or during sudden "dry spells" in sexually active individuals. Unlike masturbation, wet dreams comes and operates on it own without your permission and knowledge. You don't have to masturbate to have a wet dream. You can ejaculate without touching your penis. Wet dream does the touching, romance and massage while you gracefully enjoy your sleep and subsequently drop some slimy tears from the little opening of your manhood.

Some experts theorize that wet dreams are one of the many subconscious ways that the body handles stress. They seem to happen more frequently in teens and young adults because this age group is thought to be under extreme stress. Therefore there is no reason to ever feel guilty about having a wet dream, they are subconscious and cannot be easily controlled or manipulated. They are not spiritual and cannot be stopped, stop the ignorant prayer and fasting. Enjoy natural ejaculation while it last. some men pray and pay heavily to experience it. If wet dream is a symbol of having a spiritual wife, then most men have not just wife, but wives, children and grand children in the spirit world and personally I would have had as many spiritual wives as Solomon.

Don't allow your Pastors cast fear into your minds. You are human, you are a man and men experience wet dream as many times as possible.
