Family / Happy Father's Day by sirmmykay(m): 8:34am On Jun 21, 2020
*Happy father's day:*

No matter what daddy issues you have going on
If your after is still alive, just be grateful because some people would give anything to just have one moment with their dads,
Just to have one last conversation, just to see them smile.

I know father can be really strict.
They always try to be the bad guy, they discipline us when we go wrong, they are the ones that normally say NO to what we want, but they only do that out of love, they only do that because they care. You may hate it when you are younger
But you will eventually grow up to appreciate them.

If your father never took care of you.
If he abandoned you and your mum.
If he still don't give a damn about you.
Don't worry about it, don't let it defined you. Everything happens for a reason.
You have a heavenly father who loves you more than any man could ever love you
And he is always right by your side
He will guild and protect you no matter where you go.

Let's take today to celebrate the men who have toiled and sacrificed everything to make us who we are today.
Happy Father's day dad, I'm really grateful for all that you've done for me.
I can never repay for all you've taught me
All I can say is, may God richly bless you.

From me to my dad
From my son to me.
From me to every Fathers around the world.

DonFreshmoney:
PDP should adopt Obaseki. To me he is more popular than all their 3 aspirants combined. You cant be more popular than a sitting governor (good or bad)..most times negative criticism is also good publicity

Politics is all about taking risk, PDP should take the risk and give obaseki the ticket. He has more financial leg and spending power than their 3 aspirants combined, he will only do 4 years in office, that ize ize iyamu of a fool might want to do 8 years which means edo south may hold power for 12 years.. I am sure people from edo central and north should calculate and allow obaseki complete his tenure so power return to their constituency.

Good calculation there

it may be that they got info that people are planning to edit mail sent to candidate. I didn't receive the mail and I'm not going anywhere, those who attended immigration recruitment at abuja national stadium will understand me better. knowing that the slot has already been shared makes it worse.

I graduated since 2012, and yet no good job bit that doesn't stop Him from being God.

I went to Corp Marshal office to submit my details in his office but yet to get a mail, still God is God. Road safety job shouldn't eben be d reason behind my decision to stop serving or believing in Him.

A friend got immigration job but on his way to training, he lost his life through accident, parent were like "how we wish his name did not come out".

Most times I choose to just keep mute on nairaland. can't imagine seeing people dropping mail address for past questions when name is not yet released. I think we need to be rational and not emotional, for the fact that everybody is asking doesn't mean they are doing the right, majority sometimes do the wrong things.

Since I joined NL many years ago, I've never seen the kind of job seeker I'm seen on NL this year. Everybody in one way or the other want to use opportunity to make money from fellow job seekers. What I know NL for is a forum where you can find help any time any day without requesting any kind of benefits. Even information that worth millions and the one you can never quantify in terms of money used to be on NL for free. Sometimes I wonder what kind of leaders some of us will turn to in the nearest future. Poverty has really darken people's faculty of reasoning. You don't know if that person you are taking advantage of will one day be at a point to determine your fate. Take it or leave it, one day you will remember this post. I know people that are in the Army, navy, Air Force etc today and people that helped them never ask for 1 Naira. Some never even set their eyes on their helper. Is it not in this same NL they connect? As I'm typing this message, I'm expecting someone all the way from Jigawa state and we met on this same NL. It gives me joy when I take part in people's success. They will appreciate you more than you expected. Think about it. God bless you all.

was shocked when I contacted someone who promised to get me my acknowledgement script, only to tell me to pay him 1,500. Seriously I was surprise, just to edit his own and put my name is what i will pay 1,500 for. So sad

I've read how people make jest of the 30k stipend, in just laugh because they know nothing. see if this is what you have for now, take it serious, and Dont wait until you lose it.
