Congratulations. Quick question please. Did you submit colour copies of your yellow card and passport data page? Also is the bank statement to be submitted 3 months or 6 month. Lastly how much is the visa fee?
Parcks:

Hello House,

I got the visa! Thank you so much to everyone who provided valuable information to guide my application at Vfs office.

I first applied on the DHA website for an eVisa on 14th of November, 2024, and got the rejection mail on 21st Nov.

Then I applied at Vfs office on 25th Nov and got a mail that my processed application has been dispatched on 29th Nov. I got my passport from GIG on Monday, 2nd Dec.

My flight is 7th Dec. and the conference starts on 8th Dec, so I’m so glad it was processed this fast.

Documents Submitted:
Personal Introduction letter
Introduction letter from my employer
Invitation letter from host organization
Employer’s Bank statement (stamped and signed with date physically)
Personal Bank statements (3 months, stamped and signed with date physically)
Yellow fever card.
Flight itinerary and direct hotel reservation
Passport info page
Printed copies of 2 previous visas (to other African countries)
Printed stamped pages on my passport of these 2 visas

I provided all the requirements listed on their official website to ensure a complete application.

Thank you Fam!

Good evening to all the gurus in the house.

I will be very grateful if anyone can kindly explain why Zenith bank did not charge the 10% withholding tax from the interest proceed of the primary market purchase on 20th November 2024, using a personal (and not company) account, in contrast to Sterling bank that deducted the 10% withholding tax on the proceed of the Treasury bills purchase, also via a personal bank account. Many thanks.

It's something you can do online by yourself
sunnymighty:

I keep wondering too. I sent the data page of the last passport to her she kept insisting I should produce the data page of the one I had before that very one, why? what for?
Travel / Re: Cost Of A Nigeria International Passport by sirrotex: 8:08pm On Nov 22, 2024
This smells like extortion. The only passport required of you when filling the form online is the previous passport and data psge

I don't think they call. I intend to go back by month end
Fayrouzz:
Ah. That's not encouraging. Even though the cited that increasing the fee was to help produce the passports faster.

Do you intend to wait for them to call you before you go?

YES you can. Just bear in mind your 430w becomes a 300w. Now ask yourself if that's what you want.

I don't intend doing it at the Lagos Consulate, and if possible, how much?

Quick update guys. I went for capturing at the Ikoyi office this morning. I got there around 9am and went to servicom to help with the arrangement of my documents after which I was directed to the waiting room.

On getting to the waiting room , some officers came to attend to us and gave us directions and in a short while I was called for capturing. Spent about 1 hour.30 minutes there in total.

I really commend the officers for their organisation and professionalism.

Here is what I'll advise in the circumstances. Reach out to your account officer or the recovery officer disturbing you. Tell him or her that you are going to pay back what you owe and ask for more time to do so. Also sincerely tell them how much you can afford to repay monthly
Zhainab:
The name of the loan app is okash, yes it is registered under cbn, I took 180,000 and I struggled to pay 30000 remaining 150k🥺, this loan is actually suffocating, I don’t know what to do, I’ve searched for jobs to try and pay up but it’s not adding up at all, it just keep on accumulating and I feel like I’m drowning in it…
Career / Re: My Debt Story With A Loan App by sirrotex: 3:26pm On Sep 20, 2024
Never run from your problem. I agree that they can not do anything to her physically. They would however tarnish her image and frustrate her to the extent that she may start thinking of suicide
AmalaAtiEwedu:
grin
They are illegal… any legal and registered loan app will never threaten you. grin
My advice is to ignore them and don’t pay. they can’t do anything.
cool

No private message please. Let's discuss here
Zhainab:
I’m reaching out in a time of deep desperation, hoping someone can hear my plea. I took out a loan to cover my school fees, thinking it was my only option to stay in school and secure a better future. But now, that decision has left me in a worse situation. The loan company is threatening me with harsh consequences if and trying to defame my character I can’t repay the amount immediately. I’ve been trying everything I can, but I’m out of options.

I’m begging for any form of help, whether financial assistance or a job opportunity. I just need a chance to get back on my feet and work to pay off this debt. I don’t want to lose everything I’ve worked so hard for. Please, if you can offer anything – even advice or guidance – it would mean the world to me. I’m asking with all my heart for a lifeline.
