When Google changed their brand mark i read lots of comments on-line of graphic artist complaining,
Even if you design the most meaningful, thoughtful and beautiful Brand mark for a brand not everyone
will like it, especially graphic artist.
Most times graphic artist are always out to get fault from a design we did not create, nothing wrong
with criticizing what we don't approve of, but lets give our analysis after a month of survey on the effect of the new brand mark.
As for me i like the new Fidelity bank logo, at least better than the previous.

Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. The new look or should i say the new brand mark has a lot to do with the brand story and its owners. It's not just about creating the most beautiful logo. Without carefully research about the brand and how it results in behavioral change that remotely connects to their customers/clients as a whole then is just another logo like we all see.

A 26-year-old domestic worker, Ubong Etu Nbomang, has injured his spinal cord while peeping at his female boss while she was having her bath.

He has been hospitalised at the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, Delta State, after falling and breaking his spine.

His boss is a top federal civil servant in one of the neighbouring states. The houseboy was alleged to have made holes around the bathroom door, through which he peeped at his boss whenever she was having a shower.

Our correspondent learnt that Nbomang had climbed on a platform to have a vantage view of his boss who is in her 30s.

A female friend to Nbomang’s boss, was said to have walked in and met nobody in the sitting room.

On hearing the sound of dropping water, she approached her friend’s bathroom out of curiosity, only to find the young man peeping.

The boss’s friend, (name withheld), who spoke to our correspondent after the incident, said as Nbomang was peeping, he held his private organ.

The guest, who trades in cooking utensils at the Ogbeogonogo Modern Market, said she shouted at him: “Nbomang, are you peeping at your madam?”

Nbomang, jumped off where he was and slipped on the wet tiled floor when he heard the visitor’s voice.

The unsuspecting boss, who was shocked by her worker’s groans, was said to have rushed out of the bathroom half-naked.

Her friend, while speaking to our correspondent, said, “I said to her: ‘So, you are not aware he has been here watching you as you were busy having your bath? I met him peeping, after asking for who was in the house without any response. I have been here for more than 15 minutes now without him knowing.”’

As she was telling her friend all these, Nbomang, still groaning in pains, asked his boss to forgive him and take him to hospital.

“Out of pity, the madam called her driver to take Nbomang to a hospital, while she later joined them at the hospital,” her friend added.

Speaking with our correspondent at the FMC, the boss, who spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity, said she was going to sack him.

She said, “Before now, I used to see him looking at me but I didn’t think otherwise because I saw it as nothing. It was when he was confessing that I got to know that he was the one that bore tiny holes on my door, which until this incident I never knew of.”

Nbomang, who also spoke to our correspondent from his hospital bed, pleaded, “Help me beg my madam, na devil work. Na my madam beauty deceive me.”

Authorities of the hospital told our correspondent that the injury could be treated.

A 31-year-old Texas woman has gone from the class room to a jail cell after passing herself off as a high school sophomore — but her motive remains a mystery.

Authorities say Charity Anne Johnson posed as a 15-year-old girl who managed to enroll at an East Texas high school.
Johnson's lie unraveled on Monday evening when a woman who she was living with in Longview, Texas, called the police and demanded she leave the property.

When officers arrived, Johnson gave her name as "Charity Stevens" with a birth date in November 1997, Longview Police Officer Debra Stiles told NBC News on Thursday.

But when some of the things "Stevens" told the cops didn't add up, they started digging a little deeper.
"Through course of the investigation the officer determined she was lying," said Stiles.

Johnson was arrested for "failing to identify" herself to an officer, which is a misdemeanor in Texas. She is currently being held in the Gregg County Jail in lieu of a $500 bond, where she is listed as being 5 feet tall and 300 pounds.

Officials said that Johnson had no arrests in her background that would explain why she was faking her identity.

San Francisco Bay Area man had an unexpected passenger in his car during the 30-mile trip to his parents' house: a small, stray kitten that had somehow found a place to ride in the engine compartment.

Jim Michelotti (My-koh-la-TEE) says he heard meowing after pulling into a gas station on Saturday. A woman next to him said it was coming from his 1993 Mitsubishi Diamante, so he began checking around.

With the help of a flashlight, Michelotti found the black kitten on a bar between the engine and firewall, just inches from the ground. The cat was greasy and scared, but otherwise OK.

It had apparently ridden from Michelotti's home in the Silicon Valley city of Sunnyvale.
Michelotti says the cat appears to be abandoned.

Hilarious underpants was made by Hao Fans father due to the summer heat.

The Mirror reports says this lad is the coolest boy in town in more ways than one after his dad made him a pair of watermelon underpants.
Ruifeng Fan, 33, from Taipei in Taiwan fashioned the pants to help five-year-old son Hao beat the summer heat.

The tot was always complaining about being too hot but the family had no swimming pool for him to cool down in.

Ruifeng said: "I gave him a watermelon to eat, which is usually the best way to cool down, and after cutting out the inside I suddenly thought that actually the watermelon itself could probably be used to make a really cool pair of underpants.

"So I cut out two holes for his legs and fitted it with a makeshift pair of braces, and he instantly had the coolest underpants in town."

Ginny M. Griffith, 34, told officers she used a cigarette lighter to set some towels on fire around 1:30 a.m., Friday. She was hoping to catch the little arachnid with the flaming towels and burn it to death, according to WTSP.

It's unclear if she ever caught the spider, but the fire that resulted did necessitate intervention from the fire department. Five units were summoned and managed to control the fire, which they said had multiple points of origin, within a matter of minutes.


Griffith's aggravated arson charge stems from the fact that the other half of the duplex was occupied when the blaze began. No one, besides potentially the spider, was injured in the fire and the building only suffered light smoke damage.

Police in South Florida say they arrested a man suspected of stealing weed killer after he left his shoe behind while running away.
Police in Palm Beach Gardens say 29-year-old Tyrell Copper and another man went into a Home Depot store Tuesday and tried to take two bags of weed killer without paying.


The Palm Beach Post reports someone attempted to stop the pair but Copper ran to a getaway car. Leaving one of his shoes behind.
Police spotted the car and pulled it over outside a Lowe's store. When police asked the occupants to get out, they noticed Copper was missing his right Nike shoe, which matched the one left at the store.

Memphis Zoo officials have banned a woman after saying she climbed over a barrier to the enclosure where lions are kept and tried to feed them cookies.
The unidentified woman's actions were reported by other zoo patrons, who saw her jump the barrier and heard her singing to the animals. After the barrier, only wire separates guests from the lions inside the enclosure.
Zoo spokeswoman Abbey Dane told Memphis station WMC-TV the woman's behavior was dangerous for her and the lions. She said the woman won't be allowed back into the facility.
