Politics / Re: Obasanjo's Letter Is An Attempt To Instigate A Coup - Afenifere by SPEED5: 2:06pm On Dec 31, 2013
[quote author=Omo_Tier1]

I beg to disagree with you on this one. So long as Nigerians are hungry, coup will always succeed in Nigeria. Though I for one do not subscribe to it, however, the manner in which the current president has handled the affairs of the nation has no doubt sent the right signals to the exotic coup plotters to start thinking what next!

Nigerians love life too much so any bullet, followed by Ghana must go will silent their mouth forever cool.

I have said it here repeatedly, if GEJ continues with His die hard posture come Q1 2014, by Q2 2014, GEJ will be history as far as Aso rock is concerned and average Nigerians will not pity Him.

His greatest undoing was to polarize Nigeria along ethnic and religious line. Never has Nigeria been this polarized and I pray never again will it be.

Go and sit down, is it not the northerners who are polarising the country along religious and ethnic lines by saying 'IT IS THE TIME FOR WE NORTHERNERS TO RULE'. We see trough your hypocrisy

me_for_you: I'm igbo but don't support this. Why not the usual 'Nigeria Peoples and Culture' that is compulsory for all year 1 students. And even igbo language will be compulsory, why not in year 1 instead of 2?
Well since aragbesola said he would make Yoruba language the language of instruction in all osun schools, then I see nothing with this except that it should be for all freshers not yr 2
So its when Aregbeshola approves something that it becomes right to you. You have a complex problem

NnamdiN: Shouldn't be compulsory. Imagine a yoruba/hausa person carrying over an igbo language course ? It's weird. French was compulsory in high school, how many of us actually know french ?

Serendipity: I am Igbo, but this is the apogee of rudderlessness. Igbo is a microscopic langiage and the knowledge of it is more or less useless. This is truer given that the majority of pupils that will attend that glorified secondary school varsity are Igbos who in most cases were taught the subject in high school and have thus gotten a smattering of the language.

OBJ + the northerners have ruled this country for over 48years and have made a complete mess off this country's huge resources, and they ought to be ashamed.
But now they want to make GEJ who has just ruled for 3years look as though he is responsible for nigerias mismanagement.
We wount fall for that, OBJ+the north r the ones responsible for nigerias woes.

Good idea until your phone is stolen and those
close to you are easily identifiable and
exploited. After an accident, the key thing is to
save lives first by getting them quick medical
attention. When they are safe, put pictures of
them on social media and local TV,someone
would identify them.THAT'S ALL.
