"At the mention of the case on Monday, neither the plaintiffs nor their lawyers were in court. The defendant too was not represented." Many did not read this part of the judgement. This is a trap, the case was dismissed not because of lack of merit but because the plaintiffs did not showed up. So, I see a case loading after the election if he should emerge winner. 1 Like |

musiwa112: i see a disconnect between the governors and the people. and that is why the governor are not discussing the issue the people want. obvious it looks they dont relate with the citizen. apart from prof soyinka and kaka. the others seem not to represent their own people view. some of the things i am hearing are not what the people want. I am sure u are not watching it live on Channels TV. Listen to Gov Fayemi of Ekiti State and see how he is throwing punches at his colleagues. Sincerely these are the real Govs not GEJ bootlickers that can not discuss what affect their people without paying lipservice to FG. |

Travel / Re: A Nairalanders Trip To Obudu Cattle Ranch by SPIDER90: 11:20am On Oct 15, 2013 |
My one kobo advise. If u are travelling from Abuja, pls dont go thru any of the airports, Calabar or Enugu because u have to sit for another 6 to 7 hrs on a bad road b4 u get to the resort(not ranch the name has changed). That was my mistake, I wasted money flying to Calabar, my thought was that since it is in Cross River, it will be close to Calabar, but this is not so even in my opinion the culture and life style of the people in that place is more of Benue than Calabar. Simply get a car hire that will take u thru Makurdi/Ogoja route in 6/7 hrs. Honestly, your family deserve a treat in that place at least once in your lifetime. |

What if the person being criticized is Hajia Ibrahim or Mrs Babalola. Will our comments be the same? Does our civil service system has a channel where subordinates that are aggrieved with decisions of their superior can be listen to without fear? Please, are some people above mistake? Let us reflect on these. 1 Like |

Hmmm the hunter is now being hunted. Seriously speaking, we are all tired of ASUU and her strike actions. I think as eggheads they call themselves, they should have invented a better and more civil way of venting their anger. Leave all the story about infrastructure, the bottom line is SALARY INCREASE. But for God sake you don't cut off head because of headache, do you put house on fire because you want to kill rat? ASUU think well o |

Education / Re: Okonjo-iweala Is Insensitive To The Plight Of Students - Akpatason by SPIDER90: 9:13pm On Sep 10, 2013 |
onayemi1:There is no problem with NOI, ASUU should not blackmail her for she is doing what a right thinking administrator should do. So because ASUU has made their demand nobody has a right to checkmate them? So govt should just deep hand to her pocket and dole out money to them as they want, what should workers in health sector do? they too will demand for 30% of the budget. This is not a matter of papa and pikin, it is employer and employees issue, if you are not pleased with what your employer is paying you, simply resign and find something else to do. How many of them are employable outside the shore of Nigeria. Govt has shown enough goodwill by releasing N130 billion. There is nothing wrong if govt change her mind concerning the earlier agreement, it happen in other climes. Moreover, we cant say govt willingly sign the agreement, to me it can be said it was signed under duress(during strike action like this). So, if they are tired of teaching, they should simply resign and join politics and earn mega pay like polithiefians they have been envying. 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Kwankwaso Ignores Jonathan, Sambo At Abuja Event by SPIDER90: 1:53pm On Aug 17, 2013 |
Please let us pause a moment and consider the scenario properly. Is GEJ the MC or the person that presented the award? If no, I dont see big deal with Kwankwaso not going to greet GEJ. What is the purpose of others going to greet the president after receiving the award? to thank him for nominating them for the award? To present the award to him?.......Pls let us stop this sycophancy and think properly. It is the way we treat our leaders that makes them think that they are superhuman, that we are slaves and they are gods. If he didnt greet the president before or after the ceremony, that may be an issue. 6 Likes |
Education / Re: Kano University Alumni Slam ASUU Over Strike by SPIDER90: 1:27pm On Aug 17, 2013 |
Kano University Alumni are on point. ASUU should device a better means of agitation. Are they not egg heads, a team of think thanks that should come out with new inventions/ways to solve myriad of the nation's problem? It is not proper that they are using the same style like Agberos. Their demands all the time is all about pay rise and comparing their pay with politicians. My point is if you are not satisfied with what your employers are paying you, simply resign and join politics. If Strike actions are viable tools, they wont be on strike now because past ones should have given them results. You can't point 'gun' in form of strike on government and claimed that the agreement was willingly signed. 2 Likes |

Mandelaguy: Public servants? Haa! 70% of Naija's problem come from their corruption, manipulations and free spending civil service attitude. If not,all those stolen monies wouldn't have gone without their assistance and contributions. Anyway, those of them that tried to rub Oteh's face in the mud had better watch out(don't come on his forum and call her vindictive o!) no bod will surround himself with enemies, and some of hem have rightly declared themselves so,and why should they even protest her recall? In Nigeria corruption is in both private and public sector, imo it is more in private only that pubic sector is in public domain that is why more is known about corruption there. For those that think Oteh is a discplinarian that is why sec staff dont like should have a second thought, akunyili was a discplinarian and fothright on he duty as DG NAFDAC and no one was calling for her head, even the lot of NAFADAC staff turned for good during her regime. In practice, leaders loses their prestige when they dont walk their talks |
Politics / Re: Sanusi Indicted Of Fraud & Forgery Over Bank Nationalization by SPIDER90: 8:13pm On Jul 19, 2012 |
For the stunch supporters of sls crying that this is a case of corruption fighting back is unfair, this was initial response of farouk before he realised that he was hiding behind one finger. This man is a cheat and deceit. His cohorts are in charge of this country and gej is bending to their wishes. Read the story again and u understand why Oteh was recall quickly to come back and cover their tracks. Remember the fraudulent appointment of access bank staff(Aig connection) and the fraudulent sales of intercontinental bank to its debtor, access bank, at amount far lower than other bids. If you truly love Nigeria, pray so that these vampires will not suck her dry. This is not a matter of ethnic or religion, all of us are under siege and we need a deliverer 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Floods In Ibadan Again by SPIDER90: 9:25pm On Jul 16, 2012 |
The problem with an average Nigerian is that we are not sincere and objective in our reasoning. There is always something beclouding our sense of judgment deliberately,it is either, he is from tribe, religion, local govt or town. Despite all the noise made by ACN about good governance on pages of newspapers and what we now discovered to be a cheap blackmail, we can authoritatively say that there is no difference btw PDP and ACN or any other party in nigeria. For us living in Ibadan( I lives in Eleyele) we can not see any diff btw Akala & Ajimobi imo the former is better, but most of u internet and ACN apologists u can continue on the defence of this man that was not prepare for this herculean task, this issue goes beyond flooding. |

Allow EFCC to do their job and leave sentiment out of criminal issue. Na wa for naija people, if EFCC refuse to act, they have been bribed/GEJ is clueless, if EFCC act, GEJ is hunting enemies of his govt.
