Car Talk / Re: Help! Am In Love With G-wagon. Only The Latest Model Will Do. by stpaul48: 10:44am On Nov 29, 2016
When ya'll see and drive a Range Rover Sport SVR (Never seen one in Nigeria). You will stop talking about a G-wagon upon hearing the engine REV.

G-wagon is a status car and that's all it is. It has the worst interior for it's class and because you drove a G-wagon from a toyota camry doesn't make it a super performance car. Try driving other european premium brands in the same category.

When you drive BMW X6m(best handling), or Porsche Cayenne turbo s(fastest) or Range rover sport (Most comfortable, smooth and practical) you go forever hate G-wagon.

My philosophy is, when you are made you are made. You don't need a stupidly overpriced rubbish to prove that point. Simply drive what you enjoy driving.

Car Talk / Re: 2017 Range Rover Spy Pictures by stpaul48: 10:12am On Nov 29, 2016
lanaVello:
Spy pictures shows Land Rover is working on an exterior update of its Range Rover Sport which will begin production next year. Prototypes of the new Range Rover were spotted on a test drive in Europe. From pictures, the new prototype has an adjusted bumper from other models, the foglightplace horizontally, a license plate support, a hood that surround the grille.

There is no clear indication on what the engine of the car will look like at this early stage but we expect they keep to the current turbocharged engines which has a 4.4 litre V8 as well as a 3.0 litre V6 diesel engine with the Range Rover supercharged engine of 502bhp 5.0 litre V8.

SVR model engine should also come in V8 with power of about 567bph. Range Rover Sport is expected to launch the normal 2017 model at the first quarter of next year while updated next-gen Range Rover Sport SVR model will hit the market much later in the year 2017.

Politics / Re: Dino Melaye Set To Sponsor Bill Against Tribal Marks After Seeing This Photo by stpaul48: 2:02pm On Nov 14, 2016

We have more pressing issues in this country right
now than attacking traditional values and norms. In as much as his "quest" may be borne out of good intent, I'm very sure when his constituency elected him into the senate, this was not what they had in mind.
Second, the practice of killing flies with sledgehammers should be discouraged in this country. The fact that a particular family or tribe has decided to "take it to the next level" does not mean a harmless tradition should be wiped out altogether. On many occasions you don't even know it is there unless you look very closely.

I don't like you for this comment...
I assume you have a fine face.
Now, imagine growing up looking like a pussy cat. How will you feel or see the people that made such a life-lasting decision for you without seeking your consent.
Yes, if people want to have tribal marks, i feel such persons should be allowed to grow old enough to decide if they want it or not.
Also, what is tradition? let me tell you. Anything you do today and repeat tomorrow is already tradition. There is no rule that makes what Mr. A did in 1805 to automatically supersede what Mr. B will do in 2016.
Mr. A propably started the practice of tribal marks as it was a means of identity then. The same way Mr. A was wearing banana leaves. However when proper clothes came into existance, Mr. B dumped wearing leaves. My guy, tell me why Mr B cannot as well dump tribal marks ?

It's makes no sense to uphold total rubbish in the name of tradition.. You and i will become ancestors tomorrow and whatever we do today becomes tradition tomorrow. So phucckkk the barbaric ways of thy fore-fathers cos they don't mean sh!t..

This guy used to ply his trade here on Nairaland while he was still struggling, he f-ed up a little and Seun showed him the door!!

Now dude is big and doesn't need nairaland any longer, he flaunts luxury items every single day on instagram...

Now he's giving out 100k, he's blessed already!

His former handle was inspiredm just in case you wanna check him out!

You are one of the persons that celebrates criminals?
You have no idea how crooked Inspired Autos (Bimbor Emmanuel) is. That guy is a fraudster. No he is not blessed.
Learn to differentiate between blessed people and thieves. Flaunting other people's wealth doesn't make your blessed or successful.
Even if that guy LEGITIMATELY imports 10 cars per month and makes 2 million naira off each, he still wouldn't be able to afford the fake lifestyle he flaunts.
He steals peoples money NDLEA, EFCC should investigate him. For sure i know he is a fraudster. I have been defrauded by him. What i cannot 100% say is if he is into drugs. I am however 100% sure he is capable of anything. Someone with such zero sympathy.

I am just researching on inspired autos CEO and I am seeing that I am not the only one he has defrauded and I just want to share my story, because I was not a customer but a personal shopper and I was introduced to him by another of my customers who runs a very popular luxury clothing store in lagos. He told me he wanted a specific sweater from the balmain h&m collection valued at about 150k naira equivalent, I asked him for a deposit as this is what I usually do with such specific orders, he refused to give me a deposit, bit upon meeting him at his lavish ikoyi apartment, I was very impressed by the young successful man I met, being younger and a business man myself I admired his success and looked up to him, so I immediately proceed ed to order the sweater for him, in order to build the relationship with this new customer, upon arival of the sweater, I delivered to him and he said he would wire the money to my dormicilary account in usd, after several days of calls and him saying "oh I forgot, I will do it immediately" I started sending him messages on what's app asking what was wrong and if he didn't want to pay me and why, he then sent me a screen munch of his gt bank account statement showing over N100,000,000 balance and said he was waiting for dollar in his dorm account, so once again, I waited another week passed by so I called my customer who introduced him to me, and told him what happened, he later called me and sent me 100k and told me to that's all he had to pay for it, that the dollar rate I was giving was too high, of which dollar was rising daily, I then reminded him that he asked me the naira equivalent after I called and called and he said he still didn't have dollar so he would just pay in naira, this was about 6mths or so ago, he blocked me on whatsapp, Instagram and doesn't pick my calls, so today I decided to research his company and saw all the things he does to customers and I am just in shock, because he seems such a calm cool headed person, I called him with a new number and he picked up and I asked of my money again, of which that 150k is now about 200k plus but I was just asking if my 50k balance and he said I should come pick the sweater and keep the 100k, I would go pick the sweater but I am scarred for my safety, any ideas nairalanders? Any lawyers etc that can assist me, I am willing to pay.
Hello Bro, I sent you a request. Please follow me so i can send you a private message. It's something about that inspired guy. Thanks for sharing this piece as other people have learnt from your experience. It's unfortunate i didn't see threads like this on time and now i am on the verge of loosing my job. My boss is furious for introducing him to such a crooked person.
