Only his passport was certified. I don't know whether they confirmed the documents
Tryhard:

Were they all certified and do you know if the Consulate called to confirm everything ?
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by strongmoxie: 11:15am On Nov 05, 2022
No bank statement. Just certified copy of his passport, his proof of address and the letter
Tryhard:

Was your supervisor bank statement attached the application? Plus what other documents?

It's medical insurance. Momentum is a popular provider for SA. You should subscribe for at least one year starting from the intended date of arrival/start of study in SA. Sign up, login, get quotation and make payment. Here's their site: https://www.momentum.co.za/momentum/personal/products/medical-aid
Because of naija forex restrictions, it is easier to get someone you trust in SA to pay for you

The first and second rejection was due to insufficient fund. I used a dom account with a single transaction on it and a balance of $2.6k the first time. They also stated that the statement was not up to date (I think it is best to obtain bank statements 2 - 3 days to application). The second time, I used my regular account with a balance of 2.5m. I think problem this time was that I used part of the money before the visa decision was out. The last time, I got sponsored by an Institute and I provided the award letter and my bank statement with about 1.7m in it.
Tryhard:

Congratulations!

Do you mind sharing the reasons for previous rejection?

Thanks

It is better to get a new medical and radiological report. I think you can still use the police report and employment letter

If you have started the program remotely since last year, it means you are a registered student with proof of registration for two academics sessions and receipts of payment for school fees?

Contact the International Office for letter of introduction as a registered student and possibly another letter from your supervisor/department.

Then, you can reapply.

If you have started the program remotely since last year and you have no proof of studentship with your school, you may ignore what I said above.

Good luck

I'm so sorry you had to go through this.
One thing that I am certain of is that Appeal doesn't work with SA Home Affairs.
I am talking from experience, the next option is to reapply. Probably you shd get
a sponsorship letter from a relative that has a large cash flow and a balance that
is up to 10 million. That will be together with your account which u submitted earlier
on. As well as a personalised letter from your supervisor or school's international office.
You can also try other countries cos SA get as e be now.
Best of luck !

Please, can I reapply using reprinted scanned copies of the previously submitted documents (like medical/radiology report, employer letter, police report etc) and explain things regarding the rejection in my reapplication? Originals have already been submitted in the last application.
I have started the PhD already (remotely) since last year. I need to be there to continue and finish up.

My study visa application was rejected on the grounds of insufficient funds. My bank statement submitted has a closing balance of 2.6m. The notice of decision is even one photocopied paper with photocopy stamp and signature (after about 9 weeks). No explanation. I submitted introduction letter from employer, my school documents etc. I am so confused right now. This is my second rejection. Please I need help! This does not make sense to me. Should I represent?
Please how do I make written representation to the director general to review the decision? Is it via email, or physical submission?

Please, is it okay to be sending emails to the South African High Commission in Abuja for my visa? It's 2 months now and no word yet.

Hey man. I was also denied late February and I reapplied early march.

Hello house

Please, does re-application take as long as the initial application for a study visa?
I initially applied on January 6 and was denied in late February. I then applied again on March 24.
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by strongmoxie: 10:00pm On Mar 14, 2022
grin grin grin grin I bind and cast both local and international village people.

Thanks a lot for this
KazikageSama:

Visa denial isn't the same as entry denial. Visa denial is when a visa application is rejected by the embassy (local village people runs)
Entry denial is when the application's visa was approved but he/she was turned back at point of entry into South Africa either Airport, land border or sea border (in this case, village people went international on his matter).

For the question on the DHA-1738 form circled in yellow below... Have you ever been refused entry into South Africa?
Please does this include previous denial of visa application?
Thank you

Hello guys

Please, does anyone know how to go about making written representation? Very urgent please!!

I got a denial today for study visa (SA Consulate Lagos) on the basis of bank statement not up to date and insufficient fund. However, the account is up to date but there's only one transaction on it which is over 5 months. It is a dom account with naira value of more than 1.2m. In addition I have a sponsor whose 6 month cash flow is over 22m but the closing balance of his statement at the time was a lil over 100k. Aside from all these, tuition has been fully paid and I have someone to accommodate me.
Note: I have already started my programme last year as a remote student but I need to be present in SA for this academic year.
Anyways, I am planning to make a written representation within 10 working days as stated on the notice that I can.
Please, does anyone know how to go about the written representation? Very urgent please!!
Please also help with any other valuable advice. Thanks
Travel / Re: How Were They Able To Construct The Great Pyramid Without Modern Machineries? by strongmoxie: 2:29am On Jan 01, 2022
Lifting such heavy structures across many miles is not just logical. These heavy stones were most likely poured in moulds on site and then solidifies. Look around you. Was your house carved and moved there?! The bricks were made through casting. Were the pillars of your house gates lifted from the manufacturers to your house? They were made through casting.
Watch this documentary for a more sensible explanation of the pyramids construction. Happy New Year

coolzeal:
The great pyramid of Egypt was built with Mathematical genius encoded in it.. Infact, how were they able to lift solid block of stones above 210feets, some weighing about 70 tons in the upper Chamber? This is something that will hard to do today.

-The pyramid is encoded with phi and the golden number used by modern men.

- The builders levelled down a 6000 hectares bedrock and pilled up blocks of stones, each as heavy as a car.

- The builders carried about 130 granite blocks from a 500 miles distance, each weighing about 12 to 70 tons.

- The pyramid has 3 chambers inside. The masons build a passageway through it with utterly precision by 300ft long and 3ft wide to reach the down Chamber.

- It's absolutely precise to true North, with 5100 of a degree. This is something we learnt as early as 17 century.

- The pyramid has 8 sides instead of 4.

- The pyramid is encoded with great mathematical knowledge. E.g, speed of light, the rotation of the earth, it signals the equinox and many more greater knowledge.

And all these were done when men are believed to be running around in animal skin and living in caves.

One more thing, the ancient Egyptians are black people.

I agree. Look around you. Were magnificent brick edifice wheeled to their positions? Moulds must have been made and a pouring of some sort which solidifies. Were the pillars that hold your house gates carved or wheeled there?
Watch this YouTube video. It gives a logical explanation to the construction of pyramids in the context of the technology available then.

So all of Una here no fit provide answer to how the Egyptians build the Pyramid?

Modified:

Please, leave Aliens and fetishism out of it. Humans built the Pyramid with the application of science.

As tall as the Burj Khalifa is, it took just 6 years for it to be constructed - Thanks to modern technology.

It took some strong men 20 years to construct the Pyramid in question. Some of them no see when the construction finish.

Science and Technology. No spirits. No Aliens.
