As explained by @thesoj.... Worked well for me

Document Scanning Tip
To get very high quality scans at a low file size, scan your document directly into the .tif or .tiff format at 300dpi color (don't convert another format to .tif/tiff, scan directly to .tif/.tiff), then use Adobe Acrobat Pro to convert it to PDF, and then finally distill the document. To distill, first convert the PDF to postscript [.ps], and then open the .ps file using Adobe Distiller; Distiller will ask you for the distill quality, choose the “Standard” option. The final PDF file size will shrink considerably but the quality will be super high!

Pls i got stuck at the point of Adobe acrobat pro. How do I deal with that? I tried downloading it buh I couldn't
2)pls can I just zip the file and upload, Is it acceptable?

Hi
Try and reduce the resolution(dpi) to say 100, while you're scanning each page of your documents on your printer. it'll help greatly reduce the file sizes while still retaining quality. I hope this helps.

I tried using 100dpi but the quality wasn't so good dats why I used 300dpi.chai I have to a fresh?

Good morning.
1. ) No you cannot merge your family details with the family information form. It is expected that you scan it together with your SOP and upload it in the Letter of Explanation section.
2.) Yes you can. That's what that section is for.
Thank you

@Austinpee4 , as regards the address, how about this
VO,
high commission of Canada,
4 Anifowoshe,

Pls guys I need clarification on this asap, cos this wot I have been using. Pls help!!!

Austinpee4:

Your SOP should be an informal letter requiring no address but a title of 'statement of purpose/intent' while your sponsor's letter can be addressed formally to

'The visa officer,
Immigration, Refugee and citizenship canada,
Canadian embassy,
Accra, Ghana or Lagos,Nigeria'

You will submit your complete application at the canadian visa office either in Lagos or Abuja.

To your second question, a VO will have no business in anything that does not involve your study permit application. Your family issue won't be their concern. Unless a family member or members want to go with you to canada then things must add up otherwise, go ahead with your application and worry less about the VO's thought towards your child. It won't even cross their mind. Your application will be the main focus.

@Austinpee4 , as regards the address, how about this
VO,
high commission of Canada,
4 Anifowoshe,
VI Lagos

Please CBN can not reject your form A through your sponsor acct, your bank did that and there must be reason for that.

1) Are you transferring the fund to your school or another acct?
2) Does your acceptance letter state your tution and other fees?
3). Your sponsor act, is it up to 3 mths in operation?

You can PM me for more clarification.

Also, might just be a mistake from d bank themselves like in my case she filled CAD instead of USD

Pls what about an applicant whose sponsors have paid 2yrs tuition, transferred PART of d quoted amount and d individual has well over 10k CAD as balance In his(benefactor) SOA. Do u think VO will frown as to why the sponsor hasn't transferred all the quoted amount once? Though he intends to that later?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Sugaro: 2:38pm On May 05, 2017
Austinpee4:

I doubt so much CBN will issue a letter to an individual. So just attach the circular as it is.

Personally, i feel that circular from CBN does not completely address the embassy's concerns. It will only help to understand the measures taken by the apex bank to make forex available for tuition and other invisible transactions.(They probably would have seen that circular since they are aware of the new forex policy).

From that email from the embassy, the written assurances has to be specific about the applicant's possibility of transferring the funds to canada. This is where the applicant's bank will come in and clear the doubts with assurances and vehemence.

That circular from CBN should be helpful but the commercial bank letter assuring the embassy of transfering funds will most appropraitely address this growing concern. I strongly believe so.

I actually went to Gtbank to see d manger and see if they can issue a letter but they said the highest they can do is to block the money In the account(hence it won't be accessible to u) and then write a letter stating the MONEY will be AVAILABLE for TRANSFER but CAN'T SAY if FOREX will be available only Buhari can say dat. Lol. However, they can raise a draft in CONVERTIBLE CURRENCY ! But FIRST BANK said they don't issue draft
