I'm very grateful ma.
You just calmed my nerves

And please, I have another disturbing issue.
He has rashes on his chest and when I asked my health provider, I was told It's as a result of drooling.
Different creams including pure shear butter have been recommended but all to no avail.
Is it something to worry about or it will go itself?
It's been there for over 2months.
Thanks ma
He will outgrown it... It is d drooling that is causing it.. Just try as much as possible to be cleaning him up or use beep for him always.

Hello mommies.
Please my baby clocked 5 months yesterday. For the past 1 month, he hardly pooped which got strange to me. I use cotton bud and Vaseline or methyleton on his anus, also use his bathing soap round his anus to ease the passage but all to no avail.
A week ago, after informing my doctor he hasn't pooped in 8days,he dipped his finger in his anus and by noon, he pooped though with severe cry (this severe cry happened about 3weeks ago also, tho the pooped came itself after 7days back then without assistance).
So today makes another 7days without pooped. Kindly advise cos I've been told to bring him for anus flushing or so (forgotten the actual name).

N.B he passes out gas o, he messes with serious and severe smell and he most times stains his pampers after gasing out.

Thank you in advance ma's

Is he exclusively breastfed? If yes .. It is normal but if he is taking formula you need to give him enough water... Warm Water first thing in d morning and at interval of 15 mins . check your diets as well... Eat more of vegetables and fruits and see d magic

Abeg make una no vex that my BS is coming late, I had been battling with night vigil, malarial & my baby had jaundice & was admitted.

Long BS & pardon my typo & grammatical error.

My pregnancy came as a big miracle as I have been battling with fibroid for years & later found out there was no way I could get pregnant without surgery cause there was one inside my uterus. So I finally made up my mind for the surgery but I had an issue of low pcv due to my heavy flow from the fibroid, it finally got to 30% after some months of boosting it up. During the surgery I was told they had to remove one of my ovaries cause it was deceased, according to the Dr. The healing process was fast & I was glad I went for the surgery, I had peace of mind after i did it, if you know, you know
I was asked to come back in 3months times to run some test & I was told my ovarian reserve was poor due to my age & the ovary that was removed & that getting pregnant on my own was very slim, & that ivf was my best option. So the joy I felt when I found out I was pregnant just after 6months of my surgery was out of this world, I knew it was God.
First trimester
I started antenatal very early cause I needed to be monitored cos of my age & low progesterone. I was home all through this period cos any small thing can make me vomit, I had zero appetite. Spotted at 14wks & was admitted & placed on bed rest.

Second trimester was much better though I was still having no appetite & little urge to vomit.

Third trimester still no appetite & I was worried when I did scan at 36wks & my baby was weighing 2wks back.

At 37wks I was spotting again so I had to rush to the hospital, when the Dr saw me he said it was too risky for me to go back home so I was admitted & schedule for cs that same day.

God came through for me again During the surgery I lost so much blood & had to be transfused, the Dr had to battle to save me & my womb, cos he said it was placenta accreta, Drs worst nightmare.

I am super grateful to God, the ever Faithful God for this wonderful miracle

Congrats to those that has given birth & safe delivery to the remaining pregnant mamas

To our TTC mamas, there is nothing God can’t do.

Bs.

Though I didn't plan this pregnancy. But am glad it came when it Came.
God's plan is always the best.

The Journey was good, having to stay indoors for 8months. Lol
No stress of going to work with Belle and two kids.

First trimester came with its package but it was cool.

Second trimester was okay too.

Third trimester
Lockdown relaxed in Rivers state. I had to resume work at 32 weeks thereabouts- Yea, I cried.
The stress was maddd. But thank God, it was for a month and then holidays.

Labor started at about mid night 24th Dec. I endured it as it was mild. I knew it was labour all the same.

25th Dec, hubby was supposed to be at home, but he was called to show up at work- He had to go after he helped me kill chicken.

I started work- did dishes, fetch water, made breakfast for the kids, bath them and cooked my Christmas food.
All this while the contractions were coming and going. I still endured.
I felt like pooing at a point but I was scared( who will help me if Na pikin come).

After cooking my Christmas food, the next thing was to prepare salad and share food to neighbours, but I was having mixed feelings on how far I could have gone. So I decided to bath and go to the hospital.

I got to the hospital 1:07pm and the matron checked me, she wasn't too sure how far av gone, so she said on the next contraction she will burst the membrane to ascertain it.
She did and said I was 8cm gone. Yeeeaahhh, i was happy Oooo.
I came with few necessary things so she started preparing the place ASAP. I had to call hubby to go home and get my bag.

They set drip on me with contractions still coming and going. It got to the point I couldn't endure the urge to poo, they transferred me to the delivery bed and asked I poo, mbok, I pooed better poo and next My Christmas Gift came out at about past 2 weighing 3.3kg I got a little tear.

She didn't cry and they started working on her, of which she cried after some time.

Placenta was delivered after some time and I received the stitching package. We were cleaned up and taken to the recovery room, then Husband man came with our bag

Baby was breathing with noise after some time. She was discovered to have inhaled meconium. They placed her on oxygen and God took control. She was okay by next morning. We were discharged.

Thanks to Mommas that always drop B.S. I learnt from it.

God has done me well. I now have 2 girls and a boy.

Baby dust on TTC Mummies, God will remember you.

Safe delivery to all Waddling mamas.

Me haff sign out.

Cc Sunbestie
She wants to enjoy d Christmas food before coming out.. Lol.
Congrats dear

19CannyMum:
Long and boring BS

Surprise pregnancy after I misread my FP app. I cried and cried because I bin don already hang boot with my 2 soldiers, but I decided to count my blessings and move on. I chose to be team green.

First trimester was terrible as usual, doctor recommended an anti nausea drug it worked for some time but was making me sleep too much so I stopped. The best thing I did at this stage was buy the gummies version of prenatal vitamins. Taking my vits was just like licking sweet. At a point the only thing I could eat was starch... Delta people go shock but I even ate starch and Ogbono during this season lol.

Second semester was a blast! I had energy and was very active, taking transit everyday to work. I really rocked this period but I started waddling early sha as per 3rd baby. I tried to walk 15 minutes every morning... Either from my house to the train or from the train to the office. They said I had gestational diabetes in my last pregnancy so made me do a series of tests this time. Come and see me happy when the final test came back clear.

Third trimester came with heartburn and pelvic pain. Also low PCV and platelets, for the platelets I was praying, but for low pcv I wasn't bothered because it's a constant diagnosis during my pregnancies. Pelvic pain is not funny o, I'm still having it self. I initially wanted to work till I born but later decided to start my leave at 35 weeks or so. I tried to remain active, but the flesh was very weak and waking up early in the morning was difficult so most times I couldn't do my 15 minute walk. By this stage self walking was even difficult because baby was head down and low.

Then I started my leave and that's when laziness overtook me. Sleeping galore. Sometimes my body will be paining me so I'll just take a walk. But most times when I think of wahala of wearing jacket etc just to take walk, I'll kukuma stay inside. A couple of times I climbed stairs inside the house just going up and down.

36 weeks 6 days I blended pineapple with 100% pineapple juice and mixed with zobo drink. Very sweet. That became my water till it finished. I also started taking peppersoup. Upon all this, 37 weeks came and passed, no baby.

We were moving to another house and collected the key Wednesday 16th. Our initial plan was to move small small. But by Friday when I saw that baby was not coming, say na shalaye she just dey with many Braxton hicks, I say make we just park at once. On Sunday we moved almost everything and slept in the new house.

I woke up Monday morning with contractions, I stayed in bed until I was sure it was the real deal, then I started timing (I used a website https://www.thebump.com/calculators/contraction). It's possible my contractions started easier but I slept through them due to tiredness, because by the time I started timing they were already very close together.

I woke hubby up and told him 'this is not a drill, this is the real deal'. 21st December. I was so happy. My preferred dates for baby to come were 12, 17, 18, 20, and 21st for different reasons. But when baby did not come by 18 I just let go, and started praying for God's due date.

I took my time to do number 2 and bathe, then I put the finishing touches to my hospital bag, then went to drink some pepper soup. By the time we left the house contractions were about 2-5 minutes apart.

We got to the hospital around 9.30. By then frequency of contractions had reduced to maybe 9 minutes. They checked me and said 5cm, that I should walk around the hospital (actually at that point they had no beds, number of maternity ward beds have reduced because of COVID). She told me she checked me at 10.20 so i told hubby let's walk around till 12.30.

Na so we go downstairs. Hubby bought and ate breakfast, we walked around etc. By 12.30 I was in intense pain and contractions were every minute. We went back and they checked me: 8cm. They didn't allow me get up again and wheeled me to the favor room and burst my water. That's how they started begging me not to push that doctor is in surgery. I asked for epidural, they said the anesthesiologist is also in surgery. The pain was so much that I vomited my peppersoup.

Finally doctor came. As soon as she came, contractions calmed down lol. All of us started waiting, the doctor looked so impatient self. Then they asked me to push even if I feel the pressure is not much. I did first set (3 pushes), second set I almost fainted, the third set I felt the pressure and gave it my all, and finally baby was out. Placenta followed.

They asked if daddy or I wanted to cut the cord and we both declined. Then the nurse asked daddy, what sex is it? He said it's a girl. Me I was already in outer space, I had zoned out from pain. I heard him say 'it's a girl' and i asked, what did you say? He repeated, it's a girl. I smiled and zoned out again.

Baby came around 1.30 and by evening they were using style to ask if we want to go home. I told them I want to stay till morning. We were discharged in the morning. There had been a terrible snowstorm at night, roads were really hazardous that morning. We couldn't even make it home, our car got stuck on our street (about 2 houses away) so I carried baby and walked home while hubby sorted out the car. I will never forget that short walk because the snow got above my knee at a point.

Baby was later diagnosed with jaundice and we played cat and mouse for one week with the possibility of getting readmitted, until I got tired and went to look for unripe pawpaw to buy. I did not see, so I bought a ripe one that was still very green. I cut it up with the skin (later discovered that we were supposed to peel it) and soaked in water. Two days of bathing with the water and we finally passed the jaundice test and were freed.

Whenever I look at my princess I feel so blessed, I can't believe I cried when I found out I was pregnant with this bundle of blessings.

My prayer is that God will bless every desiring home with the laughter of babies. That God will keep all our preggies and grant them self delivery. And that God will give us wisdom to raise our children. Amen.
