Honey is not affected by this transaction

I had similar reservations but hearing from someone familiar with the buyout transaction in 2022, he has told me that same price still applies. However I will try and confirm again

Their target price is taking into account the current os. But what they want to do is essentially a reverse stock split

yMcy56:

I think there's a difference between buyout and

merger here.
Both will take different dimensions.

As for the take over you mentioned, it was actually buyout of majority shareholders at price N4.20 around 2021/2022 or so.
This involves FMN buying out Honeywell majority shareholders at premium price of N4.20 when Oba Otudeko was left with no choice than to sell Honeywell.

Now if it's merger, I personally don't see the price coming at same N4.20...
There's the need for us to know what FMN actually planned to do with Honeywell......

I think merger looks more like it......with Honeywell shareholders getting FMN shares in
share conversion ratio....

Someone mentioned ratio 10:1 or 9:1
You also mentioned delisting and relisting

Let's see how FMN handles this Honeywell issue......hope it's sooner.

Hearing it will be a good week for FMN. Those that jumped into Honey, what I’m hearing is that the there is a take over offer @#4.20 on the stock by the majority shareholder, this has been public information for a while. So the activity around the stock is not justified and the stock is currently trading higher than that level

Those who followed me when I was hawking Aradel @ #4-5k, congratulations, you should have made 100%+. The quickest and easiest money I’ve made in my life. This is just 1 phase out of 3 that I foresee. Today was the last day of trading, as redenomination will commence tomorrow and shares should be tradeable on Monday at #490 using today’s closing price. Phase 2 of the second rally, is the 3 week window where it’ll trade at the split price and Phase 3 when it comes to NGX in October. Note: I do have some valuation concerns around the stock now, considering it is trading at the same market cap as Seplat which is a bigger company in terms of production and reserves, although Aradel has a different business model also operating in the midstream space. Due to my concerns, I have sold down my initial principal at todays high and hoping to Jijo with the profit in Phase 2 and 3.

FINAL and FULL info on FMN, as it is no longer classified info and has spread far and wide within various circles, the coy wants to delist from the exchange. And will ofcourse purchase at a premium. The premium was set around #70 while the stock was trading ~#45, however with recent gains, it will be revised upwards. HONEYFLOUR will be included in the transaction, as they want to delist the two entities, consolidate and then list again as a new entity. Purchase price for HONEYFLOUR, I am unsure of. Congrats to all those who listened to the initial signal

More info on FMN- Hearing the CEO was very displeased with the rise in the share price last two days. And a trader has told me there might be an investigation as it’s clear that the stock is being traded on material non-public info. If a CEO is displeased with his share price rising and they’re at SEC for a transaction…. put two and two together about what is happening in the company….
I don try for una

So it is still rumor but with the equity related transaction that concerns FMN and what I’m hearing they’re planning to do at completion of the exercise, it will definitely affect HONEY due to the significant stake. They are doing a consolidation. FMN had a predetermined price of about #70, but with recent share price appreciation and activity I believe that will now be revised upwards, to the displeasure of the people at FMN. With regards a target price for HONEY I am still unaware of the happenings there. Will drop more info as it becomes available

A private equity firm that holds about 20% of the shares outstanding. They invested in the company a while ago, I think around #300 levels and are now looking to exit having made significant returns on their investment. Rumor has it that it could even be them pushing for the NGX listing for ease of exit (more traction/liquidity on NGX). But I doubt they can just dump their shares on the market like that, so I don’t think it’s anything to worry about as of yet, they will have to find a strategic buyer for the volume they hold and I have it on good authority that they will do an offer for sale
