Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Uduak-Frank Akpan Killed Iniobong Umoren And Buried Her - Confession To Police by SupBruh: 9:18am On May 02, 2021
Sad turn of events..
I knew something was up when that dude wrote a long Facebook post acting all innocent and claiming he had never met the girl.. And still went on to make a video about how he's being misjudged.. Oh lord.. and there were people on Nairaland who actually thought he was innocent.

This is heartbreaking.. I hope this guy and every other person involved in the death of this young lady face the same misery. This is callous and I reckon he would have done it before.. I can't imagine it is that easy to conclude that killing her was the best course of action. He should be made to confess to every other killings he has been involved in..
He's a sociopath and probably a serial killer.

RIP Iniobong Umoren.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: How The New European Super League Will Work by SupBruh: 8:07am On Apr 20, 2021
chelsea1116:
The uproar about super league is a clear indication that racism in football isnt going away.

Just imagine how people are speaking up against Super league but kept quiet on racism.

One day a white called me "scimmia" which means monkey, i was like na dis tin b d racism..i smiled and called him "bianca scimmia"(white monkey).
He walked out from d pitch very pissed.

Until blacks learn to put on coat of steel instead of tears wen called monkey racism wont go away.

I reckon if every black man reacts to racism this way, these racists will thread carefully before uttering slurs towards black people. They can dish it but they can't take it.. Like you said, they have to develop a thick skin against racial slurs.. I've learnt not to take those things to heart, After all, we all evolved from apes.. Plus, being a Nigerian, you go through so many tribal remarks both online and offline. Thick skin comes naturally to us..

I need someone to ignorantly come and blame Fulani or cow or bubu please.

What is the correlation?? If I didn't know better, I would have thought you were a Bandit sympathizer..

It is a known fact that most of the Bandits are Fulani, right? Right!! Another known Fact is; Most herdsmen are Fulani as well, right? Definitely!! The blame on Fulani is not stereotypical.. It is an obvious fact.. Stop trying to push the narrative that Nigerians are blaming Fulanis for every societal problem, cos you and I both know that's not the story..

Facts will be facts, unless u can prove otherwise.. But it has to be said that only a handful of Fulani people are bandits/Terrorists. Just like how only a handful of people from the south south are militants..

So, don't try to play reverse psychology on us.. Cos you will just mess yourself up. Cheers.

R.I.P to him.

Have you all notice that women rarely commit suicide.

That's because we have better things occupying our minds.

The FUTURE is FEMALE

There are far lesser number of female suicides reported.. And that's cos women don't commit suicide, They self destruct.. They go on to harm/hurt the people around them when they are severely depressed.. Take for example the story of that girl at Ikorodu about a year ago whose boyfriend broke things off with cos he saw texts of her "runs".. She was being bundled out of the guy's house but instead She drank sniper to spite the dude.. After realising what she had done, she begged people for help but it was rather too late.. She died at a clinic, in tears.. Another would be the girl who stabbed her ex boyfriend to death... SELF DESTRUCT.. The girl who was about to take her teacher's life cos she was asked to cut her hair?? She was about to SELF DESTRUCT.. Can you imagine how crazy it would seem to be so angry that you would leave school angry.. go to bed angry.. Ask your deadbeat boyfriend for a gun, while angry.. And still take the gun to school still angry..?

No dear, The future is not Female.. The future is CHAOS.

Hmm. Value your son more than you daughter?
ediot I read and I know what graveyard means. So the dead don't have respect again? Would he had sold the graveyard if it was his son's graveyard?
ediot he wanted to see whose body? Must he sell his daughter's graveyard? Doesn't he have something else to sell or get a loan? would he have sold the graveyard if it was his son's graveyard?
That was my own views on the issue you would have stayed mute.
Cry me a river.
Why sell a graveyard? No respect for the dead? Because is a girl?

How can you make this about Patriarchy?
You need to expand your school of thought. Haba.. Show a lil bit of empathy for the father. Just imagine what could have prompted a man who buried his own daughter to sell her grave yard just to buy back the freedom of his son. This thinking of yours is sociopathic.. Get help.. Feminism does not have to be toxic. There are Feminists making real differences in the world.. You are here acting like the world is out to get you.

You see.... Women on Nairaland are the reason some guys will not take Feminism seriously. Toxic bunch.. They find misogyny in everything. I reckon I'm a better feminist than them lot.. Nonsense.

Long post. Please bear with me.

This trait seems to be common among some Nairaland men (with apologies to all the men here though) cos I never really experienced such attitude with men ive met offline. So don't know whether they have a nairaland men's association (not the red pillars or mgtow kinda thing though) where they agree to behave likesome. The way they reason sometimes just baffles me.

Ok. So, I met someone here as a friend and I wanted it to stay that way. Along the line, he wanted more than just friendship but I just kept dodging because I don't want any issues as he's a good friend (a born again) and I like our friendly chats and all that. So didn't want anything serious that could jeopardize that but he kept pressing on and stressing until I naturally began to feel relaxed (against my wish) you know how that constant checking on someone tends to make one want to compromise their Stance. So I sort of got trapped.

Now here's the issue. He would always want to know about my biz and job. If I went or not. So I decided to test him. He would always call and ask if I've eaten. So that day, I said no (was fasting) but didn't want to divulge it to him that I was fasting. He called later in the day and asked again, I said I've not eaten, he dropped. I now felt he prolly thought I wanted him to feed me huh??.. I observed he reduced his calls. Third day he called and asked again, I said no. And he said "na wa o" I was like why, he said I'm sorry I can't help. Huh?? I don't remember asking him so I decided to play along. He called in the evening, I still said I've not eaten ( cos I had not broken my fast then) and he said I'm sorry ( I was just laughing within). I asked him, for what? he said because he couldn't help. And since then he stopped calling only to chat after a week to ask if the biz I was pursuing was through. I ignored him and for two months no contact.

Just last night he chatted me up again asking if I've resumed work and I said yes. he then asked if he's free to call me bla bla. And since last night hes been trying to keep up chats but I'm kinda cold towards him and he asked why I'm so cold. Acting like nothing happened.

Now, this is what I feel. so if someone is truly dying of hunger (God forbid) you'll abandon the fellow? or that they can't date someone who's biz is shaky or has not resumed work due to a global crises that affected everyone? I'm not saying anybody should carry someone else's burden ( there was really no burden anywhere as God has been faithful.) but I don't understand what actually played out there and why he's all of a sudden interested again after learning I've resumed work. I don't just understand because I don't want to be rude. Was that a right thing?

I'm really confused here because.. I mean.. I never asked you to help me with anything but being there would have been enough. Calling and chatting would have helped me scale through the bordom I felt that period of compulsory break from work and biz but he went into Oblivion even when I never placed any demands on him.

I bow to men and the way they reason o.

What in God's green Earth is making you feel so entitled?! You said you were 'Testing' him but you're coming off as one pained side chick.. Mind you, stop taking advice from these Nairaland wannabe feminists.. You see, they act like they are liberating women on this forum but matter of factly, they'll go home and act all submissive to their husbands. Some are even products of domestic abuse..

At the end of the day, you will be the one to decide whether or not you want to stick around that dude.. You will find someone who is perfect for you, so will he.. Don't come here with your half baked tale.

Smh... I reckon you are a lot more intelligent than this. Maybe giving advice is not your strong suit.. Use to have plenty of respect for you but this is typical "slay girl" advice.. Maybe I'm missing the point but this looks like you're a taking a feministic view of the situation or it could be that I'm giving you too much credit and you are just as plain as the statement you made.. Either way.. Do better.

If I were Tinubu I would align with these people. Admit I have made mistakes by supporting and bringing Buhari into power. If indeed he still has political ambitions, He needs to come out and beg these people. But we all know, he would never. He has too much pride. Someone who thinks Lagosians should kiss the ground he walks on will never proffer himself as weak. He'll rather spend billions to rig than become humble.
Tinubu is way worse than any politician we have. "If a man would paint the devil a saint just to push his own ambition. Is that man not a greater devil?"

If you're here and you always vote on the basis of tribe and political affiliations.. Please, STOP IT!!! People like Tinubu don't have the best interest of Nigerians at heart. You will never know the true potential of our dear Country until you start voting in the right people into office. People with pedigree and integrity (Not the kind brandished by one old Military leader). People whose WAEC results are not questionable. People whose interest in their people is way more than religious and Party affiliations..
If you have visited at least 15 states in the country, you will see the potential Nigeria has.. E dey pain me say people still dey hungry like this.. We deserve better.

Nigeria will be great. It begins with YOU.

Please do,
Nigerians deserve to know the WHOLE TRUTH about this

We deserve to know the true situation of things that have already set Nigeria 10 years backwards.

And every and any person found guilty of killings of innocent souls (that resulted in loss of lives and properties, especially private businesses)

OR,

Any body found guilty of spreading fake news
(that resulted in loss of lives and properties, especially private businesses)

Whichever way it is, they must be brought to book.
This can and will never be swept under the carpet.

Swear on your life and on the life of your unborn kids that you're not being paid by the government to paint them in good light.. Swear it and I promise, From today henceforth... I will never ever bother you again.

Nigerian Politicians will only share what they want you to see.. If they could strong-arm the media into submission what do you all expect from a video they've denied its contents never happened. Anyway, I'm waiting for the comedy skit LCC will drop for all to see.

Immediately the ENDSARS protest started to diverse into EndBuhari, the APC paid strategist and propagandist came into full force to ensure that the protest come to an end immediately. Hiring thugs and anarchy merchants to disorganize the well organised peaceful protest in other to discredit the agitations of the people of Nigerians. It has become clear that a revolution is never gonna happen in this country unless the fight is keenly fought on social media. At least we know it is just the paid keypad enemies that will be the stumbling block and not violent criminals.

Those of you selling the future of your generation over few peanuts from the politicians milking us dry and refusing to allow us hold them accountable to DO BETTER, just know it shall never be well with you all.
Amen.

True. I got contacted on Instagram by a guy.. The goat asked me if I'd like to make 20k weekly.. I initially thought he was a scammer until he said all I had to do was "make anti-protest posts across all social media platforms".. Before I could say jack.. He deleted the messages and blocked me.. It is sad that people allow themselves to be used by these old thieves.. It is very unfortunate.

I don't. I'm just saying that if the current 36 governors are lined up today and I'm told to pick one among them as my governor, I won't think twice before choosing Ganduje. But now, I might consider Zulum first.

stop deceiving yourself!

This is Abia state!

What is stopping the revolution in Abia state?? That's where your leader Nnamdi kanu comes from.

One of the reasons I'll never take you seriously, is the fact that you always feel the need to put other regions down to make your point.. "If something is great, it stands out as a shining example.. You won't need propaganda or polish to brighten it." Promote Kano if you may but don't act like Kano is Dubai.. I've been there and it is just as good as most places in Nigeria. The south east also has Posh places. Promote that as well. After all, It is "ONE NIGERIA".
