English Premier League top managers, Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho, Pep Gaurdiola of Manchester City, Chelsea’s Antonio Conte and Jurgen Klopp of Liverpool have reacted to the news of Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, leaving the club.

Recall that Wenger announced, in a statement on Friday morning, that he would be leaving the Emirates club at the end of the current season after 22 years with the club, ending a long tenure that included three Premier League titles.

Reacting, Mourinho tweeted: “I always wish the best for my opponents. If he looks forward to the next chapter of his career in his life, I’m really happy for him.”

On his part, Gaurdiola wrote on Twitter: “Arsene Wenger has all my respect. The Premier League is the Premier League now because of Arsene Wenger and what he has done, his vision and respect for football. I wish him all the best in the future. Of course it was a pleasure to compete against him.”

Reacting, Conte tweeted: “I think we must pay great tributes to Arsene Wenger for his career at Arsenal. Him and Ferguson, we are talking about the last two managers to stay for such a long time in a club. He worked 22 years for Arsenal, it is great. It is fantastic”.

On his part, Klopp called Wenger “a role model”.

The Reds’ boss said this while speaking at his press conference before Saturday’s trip to West Brom.

He said, “I admired his work always, it was always brilliant”.

Two female school teachers have been attacked by Fulani herdsmen in Ogun state on Thursday, January 25, 2018.
Daily Post reports that the teachers were attacked in Onigbedu community in Ewekoro Local Government Area.

They herdsmen attacked them and injured them, using machetes.

The spokesman of the Ogun police command, Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the incident, saying that two suspects were arrested.

Oyeyemi however said that the suspects were later released.

Security agencies on high alert

“From preliminary reports, we gathered that the herdsmen who carried out the attack only recently migrated to the area. They are not part of the Fulani community cohabiting with the locals. They are unknown in the locality but they will be apprehended.”

Fulani herdsmen cannot be defeated
On Saturday, January 27, 2018, the National Chairman of Fulbe Development Association of Nigeria (FULDAN), Mallam Ahmad Usman Bello said that the Fulanis are unbeatable.

Bello also said that no ethnic group can face Fulani face to face.

While speaking in a quick exclusive chat with Broadway TV, veteran Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu, opened up on how he grew up being very poor, his career choices and more.

When asked if he had ever been heartbroken, the actor said “No” as he was really poor when he was young and he didn’t have time for women, because his pockets were empty. He added that it wasn’t until God started blessing him financially did he have time.

The comic movie star was also asked to share his thoughts on actors who go into politics, and he said if they were interested, they should be given an opportunity.

He said that as for him, since he started acting professionally in 1981, he has never seen or thought about doing anything else other than what he is doing now.

The former Paris Saint-Germain youngster is a France Under-17 international and accompanied the squad on
the pre-season training camp in Austria.

The presidency has described former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s claims in a recent interview that for about 15 years President Muhammadu Buhari could not enter the United States on account of his religious considerations is “a fictive concoction”.

This was contained in a statement issued Saturday evening by Buhari’s spokesman, Femi Adesina.

He said: “This fictive concoction being passed off as truth is mind boggling, coming from a former Number Two man of Nigeria, who should know the truth.

“At no time was President Buhari, as a private person, ever forbidden from entering any country in the world.

“Rather, the rest of the world has always held Muhammadu Buhari as a man of sterling qualities, strong on integrity, transparency and accountability. The same testimony is still borne of the Nigerian President by many world leaders today.

“It is curious that former VP Abubakar had been asked why he had not visited America for over a decade, something that had been a stubborn fact dogging his footsteps.

“Instead of answering directly, he begged the question, saying Buhari also had been disallowed from entering the same country for 15 years, before becoming President.

“We hereby make it resoundingly clear that what the former Vice President said only exists in the realm of his imagination. If he has issues to settle with American authorities, he should do so, rather than clutch at a straw.”
