Romance / 8 Signs That You Have An Attitude Probem by takoi: 9:32am On Mar 16, 2016 |
Dealing with someone with an attitude problem can be a trying and frustrating task for most people. Now what if you are the one with the attitude problem? Most of the time you may not even be aware that you are putting people off as much as you are. Here are 8 telling signs that you have an attitude problem. 1. EVERYONE SEEMS TO IRRITATE YOU If everyone around you seems to irritate you, chances are the problem is not them, it’s you. When you have a balanced and sensible view on things, you will understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, approaches to a task and styles of behavior. However, when you have attitude problem you will find yourself unable to tolerate the differences in other people. 2. NOTHING EVER GOES YOUR WAY Most people with a balanced view towards life understand that sometimes bad things happen and they take it in their stride. It’s the people with attitude problems that think that the universe is deliberately trying to mess up their lives when anything goes wrong. Part of being a positive individual is accepting the bad just as well as the good. 3. WHEN GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO OTHER PEOPLE, YOU FEEL BITTER If you feel bitter and shortchanged when something good happens to someone around you, then you really have to work on your issues. Good things happening to a person is not linked to you not getting what you want. You have to find a way to be happy for other people even if you have nothing to gain from it. 4. YOU ALWAYS BELIEVE YOU ARE RIGHT Look back on all your recent arguments or discussions with the people around you and then count the number of times you were completely sure you were right. That should be an indication of your attitude. 5. YOU FIND THE CYNICAL ANGLE TO EVERYTHING If you find yourself constantly finding the cynical angle to everything, firstly you aren’t the nicest person to be around and secondly you will be full of negativity. This negativity will emerge in the form of nasty snipes and stubborn behavior, all symptomatic of attitude problems. 6. YOU REFUSE TO GIVE WAY ON ANY ISSUE It’s one thing to constantly think you’re right. It’s an even greater telling sign if you never give in during any argument or discussion. It shows that you are stubborn, unwilling to see another person’s point of view and that you have an attitude problem. 7. YOU GET EXTREMELY ANGRY WHEN SOMETHING IS AMISS Understanding and accepting that #things can go wrong is part of being an adult. Reacting badly each time something is amiss is childish and once again symptomatic of a bad attitude. 8. 3 PEOPLE YOU KNOW HAVE COMMENTED ON YOUR BAD ATTITUDE Perhaps the most obvious sign is when people tell you that you have a bad attitude. If three people close to you have told you that your behavior is unbearable and that you need to improve the way you talk, it’s time to sit up and take notice. Fixing an attitude problem is easy enough but first you have to know that it exists. With the 8 signs provided above, you should be able to figure it out quickly and easily. http://allwomenstalk.com/8-telling-signs-that-you-have-an-attitude-problem 1 Like |

Crime / (graphic pics)see What A Ritualist Did To This Boy In Rivers State Today by takoi: 4:33pm On Mar 13, 2016 |
I never used to believe that somebody will have the mind to cut off another person's head till I saw this boy and heard his mother's story today. The 9yr old boy went with a group of boys to pick mangoes in a forest somewhere in Elele-alimini Rivers state. A man approached them and dragged the boy away. The remainder of the group then ran to the village to inform the boy's mother who organized some village boys to go in search of the boy. On getting to the forest they heard a faint shout and running footsteps. When they combed the area they saw the boy almost bleeding to death. The man was about cutting off the boy's head before the interruption. He was then rushed to the hospital. I really thank God for this boy's life.

Career / Should I Have Stolen My Boss's Money? by takoi: 6:11pm On Feb 27, 2016 |
I won't waste your time. I have a good boss who not only pays well but have also been very nice to me both financially and otherwise. He sent me on an errand yesterday to sell some of his personal belongings for him. He was expecting a maximum of 80k from the sales. While selling, I negotiated cleverly and made 150k. I fought with my conscience to give him like between 80k-90k. But I finally decided to give him all the money because he had always been a nice guy and I felt it was wrong to cheat or steal from someone who always gives you even more than you deserve. Fast forward to today. My younger brother called that he needs money for some pressing needs in school and I did not have money to give him because almost all the money I have is tied down to a certain business deal. I feel bad that I can't give my brother the money he needs and I could have had the cash to give him if I took part of the money yesterday. I have been wondering if it was really worth it that I gave my boss all the proceeds from the sales. Please share ur thoughts on this. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Politics / Johesu Threatens Indefinite Strike by takoi: 7:43pm On Feb 17, 2016 |
The Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU) says it will commence an indefinite strike by 12 midnight today (Feb. 17) if the Federal Government failed to meet members’ demands. The National President of the Medical and Health Workers Union who also doubled as JOHESU National Chairman, Mr Biobebelemoye Josiah, disclosed this in an interview with newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja. Josiah explained that members are demanding for improved working conditions, including the implementation of skipping of Grade Level 10. According to him, JOHESU is asking for adjustment of the 2009 CONHESS salary table and allowances as was done for the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in January 2014. He described government insensitivity to the demands as “provocative, insulting and unjust in the worst dimension in a democratic dispensation’’. Josiah lamented that members of the union were being subjected to discrimination and industrial marginalisation in the health sector in favour of NMA members. On the issue of skipping of Grade level 10, he noted that rather than paying them the money government went ahead to pay medical doctors which he claimed were not entitle to such allowance by law. Josiah also explained that the court ruled in their favour that they should be paid, adding that government failed to respect the court injunction. However, Josiah called on the federal government to give priority attention and capture the financial implication of the demands in this year’s health sector budget. According to him, JOHESU comprised more than 99 per cent of service deliverance in the health system, noting that government failure to meet the demands would have negative impact on the country’s healthcare delivery. “JOHESU members and doctors are treated differently, even when it is not the right of doctors to earn specific pay they accord them the pay which is part of the problems we are passing through. “This now brings disharmony because there is no fair administration of the health system which is part of the things that is causing disharmony and turbulence in the system, to avoid that the President should change such act,’’ he said. JOHESU is an umbrella body of all professional and non-professional health workers, excluding medical doctors. Religion / Why Evangelize Other Christians??? by takoi: 10:48am On Jan 31, 2016 |
I see a lot of Christians struggling just to pull other Christians out from their current places of worship. They spend so much energy and resources trying to make you join their own church. My neighbor's sole mission in my life is to make me a member of winner's chapel. This does not make any sense to me. I think that if you want to evangelize you should approach those who do not know or believe in Christ yet. Go to the Muslims, the pagans, Hindus etc and bring them to the body of Christ. Please leave your fellow Christians alone. This is my humble opinion though. Feel free to agree or disagree with me. 1 Like |

Crime / Doctors Shun Rivers Health Centres Over Rampant Kidnappings by takoi: 1:55pm On Jan 24, 2016 |
Some medical doctors in Rivers State have shunned some health centres in the state following a series of kidnappings of their colleagues. Between June 2015 and January 2016, more than 21 medical doctors have been abducted by gunmen, a development that forced members of the state chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association to threaten to withdraw their services from the public. Though the latest victims of the kidnapping, Dr. Isaac Opurum and Dr. Ib Aprioku, have since regained their freedom, some of the doctors have refused to report at their offices. Worst hit is the health centre in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, where doctors have abandoned their duty post for fear of being kidnapped. Confirming the development, the Chairman of NMA, Rivers, Dr. Furo Green, said in an interview on Saturday that some younger doctors and other medical officers, who were posted to health centres in rural areas, had deserted their places of work. The state NMA chairman cited the example of the health centre in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni council area, where incidents of cult clashes and kidnappings were on the increase. He said, “Many of the younger doctors and medical officers, who were originally posted to health centres in rural areas, are afraid to go their place of primary assignment because of the fear of being kidnapped. “An example is the health centre in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni council area which doctors have completely deserted. Before now, the doctors lived in the town and from there they went to the health centres in the rural areas. “Now, they no longer go to the health centres. This is the decision they have taken to ensure that they are not kidnapped.” On why medical doctors have become targets of kidnappers in the state, Green lamented that the kidnappers were having a wrong perception about his colleagues (medical doctors), maintaining that doctors and other health officers are not rich. He added that though some of the doctors ride “fairly clean” cars and dress neatly, it did not mean that they had a lot of money. Green said, “The kidnappers have a wrong perception about medical doctors. Because they see us drive fairly clean cars and dress neatly, they think we are rich; but we are not. “Some of my members got loans from the banks to buy vehicles; some of us have the opportunity to stand as guarantors for them to get loans from the bank to purchase vehicles.” He stated the need for government to provide security for health institutions in order to give medical doctors the confidence to work without fear. https://www.today.ng/news/national/70335/doctors-shun-rivers-health-centres-over-rampant-kidnappings?utm_source=dlvr.it_nnd&utm_medium=twitter |
