This is why Jamaicans stop watching Nigerians Movies.
They are saying that Nigerians believe in too much Juju.
and they have it in too many of their movies.

Question: if Juju is real, why can't these people who do Juju
use it to make Nigeria a better place and a World power?
just my silly little question.

Religion / Re: Judas Iscariot - Hero Or Villian? by tallnaijaf: 3:01am On Mar 04, 2009
pinky lady:

I don't really know if he's either an hero or villian,
Judas through his selfishness and love for money created a way for that
which is wrtten to come to pass, so he was used to bring the crucification of Jesus to pass.

Was Judas really selfish? also was his act of betrayal driven by the desire for money?
Or was Judas a freedom Fighter prwepared to use whatever means at his disposal to free his people?

pinky lady:

But Jesus knew he was going to betray him and yet he allowed it, is that not evidence Judas had his approval?

it has already been written, and moreover the heart of Judas has already been consumed
by his selfish desires if not so, even when Jesus said it in his presence dat one of his deciples was going to betray him, dat alone was enough to change his mind if not dat he had already made up his mind to do it.

If Jesus is the son-of-man/God and he had already ordain Judas to be the initiator of his demise, then Judas really had done nothing wrong!!! He was carrying out the perfect Will of God.
When you do the perfect Will of God then you are a Saint!! by the reasoning put forward, Judas was in fact a Saint and not the much Maligned betrayer disciple Christian make him out to be.
Secondly Judas saw Jesus as the perfect incendiary to spark a revolt against Roman Rule; thus Jesus was nothing more than  Collateral Damage.
Politics / Re: Fg Finally Removes Subsidy On Petrol by tallnaijaf: 11:46pm On Mar 02, 2009
THANKS ALL U GUYS!!!!

Recently Jamaica had a 10% devaluation to the $US and I was really sad
I was sad because I was under the impression that the Naira was still at 120 to 1 $US
and that our Jamaican currency was inching towards a rate similar to the Naira.

Praise be to God!!!!!! I am elated that the Naira is 180 to 1 $US while
The Jamaican currency is Revaluing.

Well, I suppose its because all the Intellectuals and Geniuses are in Nigeria why they have a continued slide in their currency. lipsrsealed

I just had to stick that one in

Item 4 is in direct contradiction with item 7.

and demonstrated this by surrounding himself with 12 men

Play a "Low profile" team, get gate receipts and shake off the critics.

cvibe:

Really! , so Jamaica has a football team?

f@#$king stupid comment.
Look what happened
Nigeria has a football team
and couldn't beat a weak team WITHOUT
most off their better players.

This speak to WHY Ghana
brushed off Nigeria's Approach for a game
If you didn't know, Ghana spurned Nigeria for a Game
and the JFF accepted Nigeria because they(Jamaica) are strapped for cash.
Jamaica even sent a very weak team as most of their good players are out with
injuries.

So much for Nigerian Football cheesy cheesy cheesy grin
Literature / When Nairaland Becomes Entertainment. by tallnaijaf: 7:15pm On Feb 03, 2009
OK, here I am attempting to put something of an interesting post to this forum.
This is to my good pals who assume female identities, for reasons unbeknown to me.

To Mukina, IIce and Ikafema

Thank you for making Nairaland  a place where i can gallivant in my mischief and have a good laugh.
Firstly Mukina (since "she" is the person with whom am more familiar.),
I am surprised that you being a Muslim would engage in the games that you play( assuming that you are not lying about your religious ethos)
If your behaviour is synonymous with Muslim, then the Muslim Religion have much to be desired.
If however, you are just being a bad Muslim and more grievously a Bad person, then I believe that you should take a long introspective look at yourself.

In the main, what I do here is just a game, entirely for fun not something to be taken seriously to the point of being malicious and destructive in actions.
I was always of the opinion that " Africans" are a friendly bunch, but thanks to you and your cronies I have to rethink that particular position.

bear with me, need to go get a sixpack of guinness. be bak to continue.
tongue

Am back.
IIce have always found it in her/his best interest to remain hidden.
that to me is suggestive of a very ugly individual whose self esteem is so brittle
that she cannot relate without being behind an anonymous profile on the internet.
She even go as far as to give us clues to her physical attributes.
she identify herself as a wrinkled 61 vyr old and green skinned(a subliminal projection of self), conjuring up images of an Alien being. cheesy cheesy grin

IIce Over to you.

What do i say about Ikafema.

The uninteresting part of the trio
that would be relegated to obscurity
had it not been for the other two.

Art, Graphics & Video / Re: A Good Non-dslr Camera. by tallnaijaf: 6:35am On Jan 24, 2009
koye:

photography isn't bad but you'll need to be more than an amateur to climb. what you need is a 'bridge camera' , semi professional.  try a fuji s6500fd or S5600. it's SLR styled (body), Zoom and Focus rings and i must say it beats some SLR in some departments. google it and let me know what you feel.

I looked at it.
i think i would have a very hard time in getting one.
Also it was said to be slow, not good for use as an action/sport capturing camera.
The sensor size and mp combination should give good IQ shots
however the current crop of zoom camera with wide angle would put
the 10x zoom to shame.
Also I dont think I would like proprietary batteries, i would more lean towards
having lithium or alkaline rechargeable.

I thank you for your input, and would ask your opinion on the Canon sx10 is
which i have heard about.

Can someone advise me on a good
digital Camera?
I have been playing around with the idea
of amateur photography, and would like a good camera
that would not be costing an arm and a leg.
If you know of a good one i would love to hear about it.
Thank You.
