Jobs/Vacancies / Re: 2017 KPMG Graduate Trainee Recruitment Thread by tbur: 3:30pm On Aug 25, 2017
Hello. I want to thank everybody that put tips on what we should prepare for out here. It really helped. God bless you.
To new entrants visit the 2015 thread. Page 12, 58,59 and questions in this 2017 thread.

Firstly, the logic reasoning was crazy. Five questions in total. It's not solving it's mental so don't bother doing arithmetic for it.

The Numerical was algebra, a little GMAT. Example; if a cup held 12litres of water and water was drained such that what's left is 6 less than what was drained away. How many liters of water was drained away. Answer is 9.
We had algebra, sequence, integers, etc.

The Verbal was fill in the gaps like GRE style where you will fill in three gaps or two with the appropriate terms. Practice GRE Sentence complétion, words and meanings.

The current affairs have all been listed here asides from
1) The question that says which book was not written by an African is David Copperfield
2) Nigeria has 6 géo political zones
3) Dhaka is the only city not in Africa.

I will update as I recall. Don't bother asking asking for any past questions. Learn all these I've told you and you're good to go. God bless you all.

Hello. So, I did my AC on the 8th.
My topic was HOW THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT and commercial banks CAN STABILISÉ OUR FOREIGN EXCHANGE. Like other applicants said, learn power point very well, practice oral presentation in front of friends/family. Each of us presented to 2 assessors.
In addition, when discussing with your group, be vocal and let your presence be felt. Again, you topic can be anything. So, you need to read wide and have an active imagination.

The numerical reasoning was pretty hard. I couldn't solve 5/20. So, practice your SHL VERY WELL. FORGET GMAT AT THIS POINT. The logic was okay though.

Competency based interview asked how you solved a problem before it blew up, describe the scope of First bank's services, tell us about yourself etc. Know your stories very well. You must explain to the interviewer with a story.

God bless you all as you write the AC

Wont say you are not on track, all you just need do is know key segments of the economy and what are the problems facing it, for example now, your question may be on d sport industry and how d bank can support it, your group discussion is linked to your essay as well as your PowerPoint presentation, so do yourself a favour to jot down...Dont be the ITK type always talking and trying to take the shine off others cos @d end it won't matter. The assessors won't talk to you but the 3 of them are taking records of the way you behave. So don't be quiet but don't be overtly loud, smartness is the key.... Be smart, when you are smart, you will always see some avenues to display your leadership qualities, like they say, a word is enough for the wise. ALL THE BEST

Thanks dear

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Access Bank Calling For Aptitude Test (entry-level) (2014) by tbur: 11:24pm On Jul 03, 2017

basic interview questions. Why do u want to work in a bank, why access bank, what can u bring to access bank...,etc. gt ur a-game and b confident. Gud luck.

The questions are less traditional. Read about the bank's Social activities. Everything about the bank that's not on their website. E.g. The Marathon, the W initiative. And have stories to tell on when you went out of your way to do something you weren't supposed to.

Hello all. Good evening.
I have followed all comments but none of them have an in depth explanation of the case study. Can anybody that has written the test pls shed some light on the case study and the Power Point Presentation content. I have been reading business case studies and will need to know if I am on track. I think it's one of the most important stages.

Thank you.
