Yeah,Seyewest is good at what he does. My family flew B.A from lagos to London to Chicago(American Airlines) and finally st Louis. Again, back from St louis to phiadephia to London and back to lagos. It was our first time of travelling and his assistance made it easier for us. I was able to send my money to him because I read from 'nairaland' that he's trusted. He didn't dissapoint! Thank you Seyewest.
JWTheocracy1:
Thanks seyewest.... you sure pass. I appreciate the good deal of a ticket you got me. I flew B.A from Lagos to London and American Airline from london to NC through your assistance. Wouldn't have been able to get such deals without you. smileyThough haven't met with you before but I trusted you enough to send cash to you for my ticket, and you didn't disappoint a bit. grin grin grin

Well, thanks everyone that has contributed. It was specifically stated in the letter that no taxpayer's/govt fund will be used.I got know about this from a Kenyan woman who benefited. And the fund is basically for international children.
This is the second time we are getting the approval.
However, baby girl has been treated since birth in this country.we have our doctor's referral
We are taking care of flight, accommodation and feeding.
I said the case is somehow because it's not the normal birthing case and this is the much I can put up here.
Besides,I just want to know if baby girl can be accompanied by her dad(1 adult) as I won't be available.
quin9:

Okay Mr VO but I read where the lady said she can't make the trip coz of work and nursing a baby.

Our case is somehow.
We are planning to use Abuja.
D treatment is funded by a charity organization(not medicaid)
my husband is a teacher/owns an academy.
I am a civil servant
Aside from the promotion exam coming up,i am two weeks pregnant(unplanned)
No travel history.
What's your advice.
Qei2u:
Its up to you but a Nigerian man sacrificing 4 months to look after a 4 year old in the USA with a hospital bill of $10,000 would be a red flag for any VO except am missing your narrative

Document to proove he can care for a child would be training with a nanny academy which may look worse, these VO’s are abrest with our culture,or travel with ur mom or mil

May be good u go alone, u want to proove ties to home, but then again depends on ur travel history and proof of funds, thats what i wud do.

With walter carrington this is just advice u can meet a vo who will give u all ,but i wont bet on d odds esp hubbys 4 months Visit!
If he is a salary earner max leave is 6wks no biz man wud leave his biz for 4months typically.

You can use abuja or lagos. Is this ur first baby in usa, whats ur hospital budget, travel history,

Ok,I'm a fresher.Dont know much about this, but the invitation letter is detailed and d cost of d treatment was stated, they also noted that no taxpayer's money will be used for this as the doctors' are offering a free service.Besides,we ll be paying something for the accommodation and flight ticket. That it's a contribution to us's Economy. Lol! It's ok,I'm hopeful! Just getting prepared.

Okay, so your child was born in Nigeria.

A hospital in the US approved your daughter free childcare with free medicals at the expense of US resident tax payers?

Yeah Right!...continue with the wishful thinking if that makes you feel better. grin

Thank you so much.
Please,a hospital in St Louis approved my daughter for a free child care (free medicals) for 2018,we are to pay for flight and also use the hospital's hospitality accommodation at a lower cost. The hospital agreed to treat her anytime she gets to USA as we were not able to meet up last year. We have our letter of invitation from the hospital and all cost they will cover is stated there. Please, hope we won't have much problems with getting visa approval. Already getting scared with all that I'm reading.

Lordcrixus:

Are you are a fresh applicant or you want to do dropbox?
If fresh application, the earliest interview date in Lagos is in June while in Abuja is March.
For Dropbox, you have to wait for like a month. If status change to admin processing and visa is not issued within three days, then you may be given 221g.

I recently experienced something that happened to me during my first pregnancy.
I feel dizzy in crowd like I want to pass out or something. Especially in Christian meetings or in the market. Just any Crowdy environment.
I remember how I developed phobia for meetings during my first preggie cos of the horrible experience.. Peeps will start gathering to tell me ekpele

The other day I had to grab a pole to support myself sat down, closed my eyes for some minutes just to get myself back.. Once that feeling passed I took d nearest taxi back home forgetting what I went to the market to buy
Has anyone experienced this pls

Beautiful experience,congratulations mama.God is faithful.quote author=MumIbeji post=67676864]BS! BS!!
My EDD was 28th of April, and I was so hopeful that baby will come before then, by 38 weeks I was tired of waddling and when baby didn't come on 28th I was frustrated already. 30th of April, my friend and I took a long walk, 3hours to and fro. When I came back I just had this leading to prepare soup which I did.
By 10am on 1st of May, I felt aches on my vagina bone and attributed it to the long walk I had the previous day. Contractions started by 12pm but it was mild, coming 20minutes apart.
Since it was a public holiday, hubby was around and we headed for the hospital. I was checked in and given bed by 4pm with Contractions still coming 20 minutes apart and still mild. By 7pm my Dr came to burst my water and came back by 7:30 for VE and by 8pm line was set for me and oxytocin was given na there drama start oooo. At first, it was like child's play, when the Contractions started hitting hard I couldn't lie on my side again, I started screaming and dancing (Alex's style of shaking bum during BBN's saturday party). grin grin grin My canola removed during the process and my hand was swollen.
I screamed for the nurse to come check, and she came and remove it totally waiting for my Dr to come and reset another one. It wasn't up to 5minutes that she left I felt the urge to poo, I called for Nurse again and I was taken to the delivery table. Another line was set up for me while the matron encouraged me to push. After several pushing attempts my baby came out (at 10:45pm) and I tore down there, then I heard the matron say "cord around the neck". My Dr came around, I don't really know what dey did though, they sha brought my baby out and she was placed on my chest and covered with nightingale while I prayed for her. Placenta was delivered after which my baby was weighed (3.7kg). She was cleaned and dressed up. I was stitched afterwards and taken back to the ward.
And so it ended in praise.

With great joy in my heart, I announce the safe delivery of my princess on 12/5/18 via VD with a little tear. My EDD is 29/5/18 but baby decided to come earlier weighing 2.4kg at 37 weeks 4days. As a Ftm, I must confess that I met my ancestors that day. The pain is unimaginable. I give God the glory for everything. Baby and mother are fine now and hubby is so happy. B.S will come shortly.

BIRTH STORY ALERT!!!
@38wks+3days
Around 11am on Friday I decided to wash since it has stopped raining. While walking to the bathroom I felt water gushing out of me. I just stood there wondering if am urinating abi my water just broke. My SIL said I should go to the hospital but I told her it was probably urine that I wasn't feeling any pain nor contractions. I sha decided to go after my second SIL called me. I jejely took my time to brush and bath. while at it my SIL kept on calling urging me to hurry up ( I was like Wetin dey worry this woman abi na she wan go born the pikin). I got dressed and decided to trek instead of entering bus since it was just 20mins walk from my house. After explaining to doctor, He put his hand into my something and brought out some reddish discharge saying I shouldn't wait for any bloody show that he took it out already. He sent my file to Labour ward saying I should call home for my bag( Labour ward keh? ) While the nurse was admitting me I told her I want to go home but she assured me that I was in Labour. She inserted the hot drip and asked me to lay with my side. SIL came with my bag then she said I shouldn't scream nor cry o unless I want to cry in each of my delivery. I was admitted by 2pm, after about an hour Na so contration start ooo hmmm it wasn't funny but I kept bearing it until I couldn't anymore. I told the nurse to call my husband for me o( I wanted him to see what I was passing through) She told me to call on God instead that my husband cannot do anything for me. if only she knew that all thru the process that I've been begging God to make it easy for me. I sha left the nurse alone while concentrating on my pains. I asked a lady I met in the ward if this is how painful Labour is but she said she don't know that she's also a FTM. The contractions started coming a min apart and I felt the urge to poo. I started shouting nurse come o I want to shit o, I want to piss o in fact I don't know the one I want to do o. she check me and said she feels the baby head, called the doctor while she took me to the delivery bed. Doctor came and told me how to push. I pushed with all my strength but he said I was just making noise not pushing. That I shouldn't make any sound but push. After the 3rd Push I felt my baby slipped out then plancenta followed. I was asked to bath while they cleaned up my baby.

It was a painfully beautiful experience because immediately my baby came, the pains vanished and I felt nothing but joy

My prayers are with all our GTC mothers . The God who made me a mother will visit you soon

To all my team mates yet to deliver, Yours will be shorter and less painful than mine. Amen

To other pregnant mamas: the journey will be smooth for you

BirthStory! (BS)

We try and brief it.

39weeks Plus somedays, I changed hospital because of the ongoing strike. I got to my antenatal day on thursday and the matron was shouting " If you are 40th weeks and above, pls tell the doctors so you can be induced o!!!.. I dont know where you are carrying this your big belle to. The journey never tire you . If you are over 42weeks, just book your CS ahead, dont go and kill yourself seeking for herbew woman's birth.....etc. Time to check weight and the nurse said 82kg shocked (I weigh 62 prepreg)
I said no way. I was just 76kg last week, how was it possible to go that high in 1week?

I was scared. Am I having a big baby? I have been up and doing, taking all the shits from govt hospitals just because I just want to be sure I tried VD and everyone seems to say they have the best hands. I exercised throughout this pregnancy. Showed up in all my customer's doorsteps with my biggybelle just to stay active. I shaa tried to wave it off and went to see the nurse afterwards. She asked how far gone I was and if I wasn't feeling anything yet. I said not signs. She encouraged me not to take it serious but to exercise more and come in for induction if it gets to that. She called me back to go get gloves let her check me.

She digged her hands( thats just the best way to explain that examination,no be funny something cry )
When she brought it out, some part of my Mucus plug came out. She showed me and said I will fall into Labour max 48hrs.
Before I walked to the gate I started having mild contractions. I quickly downloaded contractions App to monitor it.

By midnight, it was became more intensed but not consistent. By 3am I couldnt sleep anymore. Told hubby to drop me off at the hospital before going to work. Got to the hospital and I was checked. Nurse confirms I was actively in labour. But told my hubby to go to work and check in later. Hmmm. Vital signs taken and bed given to me at the first stage labour ward.
Lying down didnt help. I was walking up and down each time contraction hit me. 9;30am The midwife that has been assigned came to introduce herself. Said a doc will come to set up my IV line. Heard her whispering to the other lady that she would have just saved me all the stress and set up the line but that she didnt want trouble. I didnt understand then o, until they asked me to come outside for the iv line thing. It was a intern doctor being guided to put the thing while the experienced Doc watched.
That was where my heaven wink on earth experience started. When I couldnt take anymore in the middle of a hot contraction, I just stood up and walked back to ward. The doctor now came back to fix it himself while the intern watched.
The midwife came back to check me 10;15am, said 6cm. The pains were becoming unbearable. She encouraged me to keep up that I was doing well, latest 12noon I will be free.
Haa cry so this pain will continue for another 2hrs. I started begging her to pls help me. Am not sure I can bear the pain anymore. She said she will recommend drugs I will buy to hasten things up.
Aahhh! My husband has gone to work o. Who will buy it?
Nurse abeg o, bring the drug o. I will pay. That was all I was shouting.
She said she has to see my husband and get his consent. I called him to come immediately, thankGod he hasn't gotten to his workplace yet.
I continued begging the nurse to bring the drug, that I will pay, told her to carry my whole purse, I have enough money inside. She asked if I had up to 7k, that once she add the drugs, baby will be out in less that 10mins. As I hear 10mins my ears stood. I gave her asap. She stepped out and came back with some injectable. Added it and told me to let her know anytime I feel like I wanted to poo. It wasn't up to 5mins, She moved me to the delivery room.

She added more to the drip.
Father cry
Another level of jerking. But my baby was still not down yet embarassed
She said I should go ahead and push. It was just shit and urine pumping out. She was packing them as they came. I was just crying and begging my baby to come down naa. Then I felt baby's head crown over the cervix. It was time to do the real thing.
I push oooooo
Nurse; Roseey! You are just shouting and not pushing.
Look at your narvel and push out this baby.

I repositioned and tried again. It felt like passing a football through a bic pipe. Then the almighty cut was given_ @ that point, that was the least of my problems. Then the head came. One more push and my princess was out at exactly 10;45am. She layed her on my chest to welcome her briefly while they cut umbilical cord and cleaned her up with olive oil. Placenta was delivered.

It was time to clean me and stitch me up. I begged her to numb the area, she said she will, but that doesnt mean I wont feel it. The devil came at this point, blood everywhere, she was confused, asking where the blood was coming from . She kept on sewing and sewing embarassed . Said baby teared me.Asked another nurse to come add one other thing to my drip that I was bleeding. She was whispering to herself that this has never happened in her career and wont happen, asking God for wisdom. I started praying and she was saying Amen to it all. She will stitch and dig hands and more blood will come out. After a while, and her last stitching ( only God knows if my hohaa is still open, she stitch everywhere) She digged in again and said Thank God. She told me not to be scared, all women bleed after giving birth, the important thing is to arrest it and that God has done it.
She brought another IV line and changed the one that Doc and his nonsense intern fixed. Said I should call her when am about removing the pad she put inside. I was wheeled to my bed space, baby brought to me. Immediately she heard my voice. She stopped crying and kept quite for a while smiley (Wont forget this )

When I removed the pad. Blood was moderate.. So far, healing appropriately.
I wan hange boot ooo...

OK nah, see how all of them are advising you to change church,if it's a Catholic girl, their church will still want the guy to change church to Catholic.
