Sagamite:

I am not even going to respond to you because people know how I respond to such ignorance and I don't want to take this thread in that direction.

Count how many guys in your life, you have met that are 6'2 and tall me how many fingers are unused in your hands.

Maybe you have never seen a measuring tape in your life before. Shior.

Bloody unbelievable.  undecided

You said you were not going to respond but you responded. Bloody idiot. How silly is that? It depends on the people around you ok? Maybe because I'm 6'1, I consider myself NORMAL and all my friends are around my height and NORMAL too. So shut up if you are frigging short and roll with midgets like yourself. If I started counting guys that I've met who are 6'2, I would count my fingers, toes, your fingers, toes and your entire family's fingers and toes. DUMMY!

Sagamite:

5'11 - is kinda tall.

5'6 to 5'10" - is normal.

Haha! Are you that short? 5'6 to 5 '10" for a guy is normal?? There's nothing we won't hear on Nairaland. 6' 0 to 6'2 for a guy is NORMAL!

Is it the same girl that slept in Corper's House or you just like forming stories for us here?
Celebrities / Re: World Tallest Teenager by TedBundy1(m): 7:08pm On Feb 22, 2010
Sagamite:

I meant obsessed with men's height.

And no 5' 7 is not normal for a woman. In the West, 5' 3 or 4 is the norm for woman. Around the world, it is 5' 2.

5' 7 is PERFECT for a woman. Chiogo kiss kiss kiss kiss
Romance / Re: Marriage Proposal From My Best Friend! by TedBundy1(m): 3:51pm On Feb 22, 2010
Yield:

And I'm not even sure what your best friend's reasoning is, aside the fact that you're the only other available girl to him at this point. You've never had feelings for you and neither has he, and he can't now claim to have had feelings for you all this while, because it's obviously not true. If he really had feelings for you before, why was he planning to marry another girl? And because that plan didn't go through, he came running to you. Just because he got rejected by his fiance doesn't mean he now has to propose to you. And don't even reason or listen to anyone saying that because he's your best friend, you two'll get along and'll be great for each other. , Uhm, No. And you already said the marriage'll be based on "respect," not love, so me thinks you already have your answer right there. And so what, you're in your 30s? It's not the end of the world. He needs to move on and find someone else. I would much rather wait and find the right person for me than be someone's Plan B.

But it's all up to you. You know the situation better than I or anyone else here.

Best advice in my opinion.

Abuzola is an underaged, severely derailed, mentally challenged juvenile fanatic who is taking jamb for the 6th time without having an O'level credit in either English or Math. He spends his 2K weekly allowance on ogogoro for his prayer kettle and paying for cyber-cafe time! Since he knows he's not likely passing this year too, he hopes that by making much noise here, the arabs or a rich fanatic will notice him and invite him over outside Naija and he too can become "tokunbo". Then he can come back and approach the Amala seller's housegirl and hopefully lose his virginity. Lets support him before his frustration leads him rather, to put a bomb between his legs. Please remember where frustration and virginity led Mutallab to!

Please save Abu for NL.

Hahahahaha! Can't stop laughing.

That's the very idea - with these two ladies, their personalities shine through, their posts say a lot about them as people.

My vote goes to Iice, my favourite. smiley

Then don't call them hotties. Just say "Battle of Nairaland Girls". "Hottie" is strictly VISUAL. cool

@sithanda,

As far as i know about embassies cos i do travel alot to diffreent countries, No embassy will state it either on their wbsite or in their board that your bankstatement should be 2mil or 6mil NAIRA.
Most of those figures are just speculations from pple, what i know is that just try calculate what your living expenses will be for the period of your studies or the first year and come up with the figures to have in your bank statemnt.
For instance, if your living expenses is 700euros/month in your intended country, then for a year should be like 8400euros, so convert that to naira and add some change to make it that atleast you can tke care of yourself financially. OR you can email the CONSULAR of the emabssy of the country you are going to ask him how much you need in your account. Bros is not how much that matters is the transaction in your accounts and God. Have seen somebody wit 1mil bank statement travelling to Hungary and is visa was approved.

That is not true, the amount you have in your account matters alot when it comes to UK student visa, for masters here 2m naira is not enough, 4m is what you need if your school is in london and about 3.5m for schools outside london.

Justwise is correct. For UK, they do state the amount they want to see and if you don't have it, you get refused.
