EmekaA125: You're the one that needs that advice, also learn to apply decorum in public especially when you're talking about what you know little about. Google is widely available for all and sundry so, use it often before you display your ignorance in public. Now, learn this once and for all 'kp' is not a Yoruba alphabet 'p' is all that it is in Yoruba alphabet. It's the Igbos that uses 'kp'. So all those words you thought you spelt in Yoruba are gibberish, to spell them correctly remove the 'k' you added to the 'p'. 5 Likes |

NwaAmaikpe: This being is a Case with a capital C! You never cease to amaze me with your crazy mindset, always nixing sentiments and very eccentric in opinions. You'll be very annoyingly fun to have around. Oh Lordy! Lordy!! If you are like most of your comments in person then your family and pals really have a zany treasure in their midst. |

Sad. May her soul rest in peace. May God be with the family and comfort them too. Exactly @KarlWhyte, I can't agree less with your post, very disgusting that it is even happening in a post like this. It's really a very childish and immature act, that's becoming a norm here lately. Some people don't just have anything meaningful to contribute other than striking out other people's opinion or post. Everybody is entitled to their opinions, if thats what they feel like sharing why not write yours too, rather than just being an ordinary Tipp-Ex or cancellation pen, contributing nothing to the conversation. Maturity truly doesn't have anything to do with age and lack of decorum such act screams. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I believe that God can also be Lord but Lord can't be God, which I think is the difference. In other words, God is God and God can be called anything according to personal, cultural, racial or tribal reception or belief while Lord will only be Lord. For example in Christianity, Jesus the son of God is Lord. Just as expected of a Lord, Jesus represents, mediates for believers at the throne of God. Just like in other religions, society or race, some people believe in some deities that mediates for them at the throne of God. So I'll simply put, God can be Lord or anything God wants to be because God is supreme and infinite in character, Lord can only be Lord(mediator, sympathizer, representative etc). |

Hi everyone, Thank God it's a start of new week, may it be a fruitful one for us all. This post came by as a result of my experience here, which I couldn't help but laugh about at times. It also got me thinking about various people here on Nairaland. I've been around this forum for a longtime I must say, but I've always been member of silent readers and observers association. However, I decided to sign up this particular account earlier this year. Now this post is just my own observations, however interactions and response won't be a bad idea and will be appreciated. I noticed this forum is woven with all kinds of mindsets. Some are very brilliant while some are not so, some are with great sense of humor while some ain't, some are just so unique that most of their posts makes one curious, ponder and wonder. While some are out rightly weirdos... If I start mentioning names and categories they fall into, this post will be too lengthy, but you can feel free to do just that if you wanna. However, all these makes this forum an educative and fun place to be, just like a rainbow, its beauty lays in its many colors, guess it won't be as delightful to look at, if it was of one color. So for those with great sense of humor that always makes me laugh here, thank you for being you and sharing your gifts with us. I have learnt a whole lot of things here through my silent observation, thanks for those wonderful brains behind that, please keep being you. Just as the saying goes, "a light shouldn't be hidden under a bushel." For the simple-minded ones that displays the uniqueness of their being here, you are not forgotten, sarcastically, you can be likened to be oasis in the desert on some consequential posts, you guys are dope at your comic relief roles, bless your hearts(lol). Not forgetting some abbreviations here too, I sometimes wonder where they sprung from and their meanings, can you kindly share the popular and not so popular ones used frequently here and their meanings, for those of us that don't know them, for instance "OP" does that mean original poster or postee..? (lol) This is my appreciation note to you all, for being you and sharing you with us all. Let us keep spreading love, light and truth wherever we are, in our own ways, regardless of our beliefs, race, religions, tribes or whatnot. This world is already filled with its own problems, let us try not to add to it. Let us try our best to be humane to one another. Thanks Seun for this platform. Have a great week ahead guys. Peace! -TEE.

Hi LegitBachelor, guess the name has changed to legithubby now Congratulations regarding the success of your application, I started reading this post not long ago and I just can't ignore your nice way of responding to questions and sharing spirit. Thank you for being good and I wish you well in your next phase of life. I'd appreciate if you can enlighten me on the following questions; 1. During the medicals, what is being done and asked at the hospital? In other words what does the whole medical entails, what is one being tested and asked for? 2. Is birth certificate a necessity? What will happen in cases where it's been misplaced. 3. Bearing in mind that you ain't an immigration officer or VO(just kidding) do you think some# of refusals for tourists B1/B2 could be an issue for a smooth K1 application? Thanks to everyone that helpfully contributed to this thread in sharing and answering questions. Your contributions and efforts are well appreciated by moi and I'm positive many people too.
