The management of Bayero University Kano (BUK) has announced the resumption date for the continuation of the first semester, 2019/2020 academic session. 
- The management of the institution equally released the revised academic calendar for both the first and second semesters respectively.

The resumption notice released by the management reads;
Following the Federal Government’s directives on the closure of all schools till 18th January 2021, the management of the Bayero University Kano (BUK) has announced the resumption date for the continuation of the first-semester academic activities for the 2019/2020 academic session.
The Bayero University Kano hereby announces Monday, 18th January, 2021 as the resumption date for continuing the first-semester academic activities for 2019/2020 academic activities.
The management wishes all staff and students happy 2021, urging all to remain observant to the COVID 19 protocols.
BUK Academic Calendar for 2019/2020 Session (Revised) FIRST SEMESTER 18th January to 20th February 2021
– Completion of First Semester Lectures 22nd February to 13th March 2021
– First Semester Examinations 15th March to 3rd April 2021 – Marking 5th to 10th April 2021 – Departmental and Faculty Boards 12th to 17th April 2021

I'm just not too ethusiatic about this their meeting...But I sincerely hope for a positive outcome....All of the men and women sitting down for that meeting are all products of Education. It baffles me why it's taking them so long to reach an agreement with ASUU... Like what of the things we need in this country is mental restructuring. We cannot just be at home and they still call us leaders of tomorrow....lai lai... What is a leader with training.

Anyways, they agreed to continue their negotiation within the week. Tomorrow has been declared Public holiday, so, if the meeting doesn't hold today, it would hold by Friday.

I also heard about the meeting too.. I hope its true sha because that "monday meeting" is not funny..
