My candid advice as a professional in that field is to secure the service of a quantity surveyor to help you out with figure for your proposed building and also help you manage your project so that it won't exceed the targetted budget. Everything need will be spelt out in the bill of quantities and there will be an agree with the client and the contractor which is the builder. If a quantity surveyor to do that for you. You can contact me on 07081904878 and if u want to get info on building material and some other things on building I will addvice you get Consol price book. U can contact me if you need that too. Don't always relie on a site engineer cos they r after making gain while QS r after managing cost for the client
