People who committ everyday offences like this, ahould be detained for a few hours and made to wash public toilets or join lawma in sweeping streets n collecting waste.. Two benefits will b derived; law compliance will improve and our roads will even be neater..

bro, i believe it is because of comments similar to urs that there's a restriction on the group, its aim is to educate but when people come and start throwing tantrums , making false claims n accusations without the intention of learning, it derails the thread and its purpose it defeated. Its expected that as a Muslim, islam guides ur use of words, even if u disagree with a matter or have a contrary opinion, u present it a good manner that it becomes educative. Unfortunately, from experience, its not been so from some of our brothers on the other side, its usually about insulting our creed, and instead of trading words......its better closed..

Ps: its not tolerance when someone aims for ur eye with a stick without dodging it.
When u r always attacking other ppl ignorantlyignorantly like u just did..then thats intolerance!
The thread is addressing misconceptions in Islam, instead of learning from it, ur insulting! How intolerant is that! Im sure u cldnt tolerate to inform urself with d article b4 commenting talkless of tolerating the truth yet u accuse other ppl of being intolerant..

yes, there are some recovery softwares you can buy or download online. recuva is one or google is your friend to find more but the thing is it is a cumbersome process, it may take hours because of the video files you may recover or you may streamline it and exclude the videos.
yeah exactly, ive been running it for over 7hrs now, i restricted it to documents and pictures in disk c and its still at 31%... Is that normal? Or is there an alternative tool u'll recommend?

I see...the petion was filed pre-21 but it just came through after about 3 yrs..its all good..another 2 yrs of waiting shouldnt hurt smiley ..thanks Ma
VisaOfficer:

It depends how old the child is. If the child is under 21, then the wait time is around two years (F2A category). If the child is 21 or over, the wait time is around seven years (F2B category).

To make it more complicated: If the child was under 21 when the petition was filed, but has turned 21 in the meantime, you would subtract the amount of time that the petition was pending from the child's age, and if that gives you an age under 21 on the date that a visa becomes available, then you'll go with the shorter wait time. (See the explanation of CSPA in my next answer, below....)

Wait times can be monitored at http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/law-and-policy/bulletin.html .

Why do we keep spreading and elevating levels of hatred amongst eachother. This is one of the reasons bh is still out there, we keep hating on eachother instead of the enemy.. Why blame the muslims, why blame d north, BH might identify with the north and islam but that does not give anybody justification to stereotype all that belong these groups. Millions of northerners are der only concerned about where to graze cattle, someone else's aim is to make sure he doesnt miss his salat, fast, keeps beard and does only legal stuff just so he can fulfil his obligations and majority of us are familiar with this particular group! yet we keep labeling a regular man what he is not just because he shares certain criteria with a criminal. Nigerians are being jailed for drug crimes and fraud abroad every week and this is a fact, does that mean Nigeria's constitution promotes crime? or that makes you another Nigerian a criminal!? Yet when we travel abroad , we complain of us being stigmatized just based on the colour of our passports.. Its high time we stopped hating each other for no just reason..and fight the enemy! Yh we have different approaches to life but then we need to respect that..
Salam. Shalom. Alaafia

Has it been reaffirmed yet? If not, it depends how convincingly the petitioner responds to USCIS's request for evidence. It takes at least a few months.
No it hasnt, it just go reopened so i think a few months it is..thank you very much..

If the case was reaffirmed, NVC will send schedule it for the next available appointment. The beneficiary is free to apply for an NIV, but as s/he is clearly an intending immigrant, it will be difficult to be successful.
thanks vo, but please do you have an idea of how long the reaffirmation might take?
Family / Re: Marriages Then Vs Marriages Now by terefe(m): 1:03pm On Nov 28, 2014
I think people have become selfish and lazy which i believe is due to the influence of western media that has changed definition of certain ideals. You dont drop out of school just because a course is hard or your having problems in some quarters, rather u work it out..but these days ppl seem to b taking the easy route out.
Also, dese days , having a fulfilled life has changed from having strong relationship bonds vis-a-vis d family system to being materially rich and having unlimited freedom or independence to do what you want... It is what is it is undecided

The difference is social media. There were lots of divorce too but there was no means of transmission of the news of divorce.

The very reason Islam promote illiteracy amongst women is to make sure women remain loyal to men, so was it those days, because men refuse to train their daughters too, out of ignorance and dependence on men as bread winners, but now women have equal opportunity to get education and work to earn a living, so women can decide to divorce at will, for "irreconcilable differences".

Love isnt a good reason to get married, not then, and not even now, because love is unlimited in nature, it can be depleted, but friendships keep unions strong after the diffusion of love.
Thats a misinformation sir.. 'If a educate a man, its as if u have educated just one person... But if u educate a woman, its as if you have educated the world'' words of Muhammad(saw)... Not derailing, just thought to bring it to your notice.

No matter how smart and wise you are, some ladies will want to manipulate things in order to get you ma-gad either by paying their sch fees, BIS renewal, recharge card, fixing of Brazilian hair and many more perishable parameters too lazy to type. Then it's left to you to know how to play your game

Lemme Keep The Ball Rolling

I was chatting with a random lady a long time ago and I asked her how went her day and she said she was not happy.. Guys lemme quickly chip in this, when you are chatting with a newly added random lady and you inquired about her well being and she tells you she's not happy, my brother I want you to know that there's high tendency that she wants to exercise her maga-rizm skill on you, so the best thing you should say is "May God put a smile on your face", or she asks you "can you do me a favour ? " Just tell her that God is the God of favour" otherwise if you want to start acting like Romeo, your chances of being maggad is on the high side (not all ladies tho)

She told me she was not happy because she needed 30k, wooooow !! 30 waaaaaat? !!! I inquired what she needed it for and she said she wanted to use it to get rid of her pregnancy, eeeeeehnnnn !! Pregnancy what ? Wetin come con-sign me for this kind matter now?

I asked if her bf was aware and she told me it wasn't her bf that got her pregnant. **I was so amazed **. Immediately I zoomed off at Hussain Bolt pace
