You guys should find something else to do ooo.psc has not received any money from federal govt for screening plus new ig and fg is owing backlog of allowances and pension.even immigration released the 2000 shortlisted after trainning to conduct new recruitment.

Does it mean immigration is conducting fresh recruitment / replacement?

Calyb:
The suit filed by some Nigerians against the federal government over the death of job seekers during the March 15 Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, recruitment exercise will commence on Monday.

The case is to be tried by Justice Abdul Kafarati of the Federal High Court, Abuja, under Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/694/2014.

The suit was filed by Patience Omezie, Kasim Suleiman, Okojie Arebamen, and Godwin Morka while the defendants include the federal government and the Interior Minister.

The plaintiffs’ counsel include Funke Adekoya, J.S. Okutepa, Ayo Obe, Ikeazor Akaraiwe, and Victoria Ibezim-Ohaeri.

At least 16 Nigerians died across Nigeria when hundreds of thousands of applicants stormed various recruitment centres to fill the 4000 vacant positions in the NIS.

A day after the tragedy, the Minister for Interior, Abba Moro, claimed that the applicant’s impatience and failure to follow instructions were the cause of the tragedy.

Mr. Moro later appeared before a Senate Committee on Interior during a public hearing where he accepted responsibility for the deaths.

He has, however, remained in office despite calls by some Nigerians that he resigns or be removed.

President Goodluck Jonathan has since offered automatic employment to families of the victims and ordered the return of the N1000 registration fee collected from each applicant.

The president also promised that a fresh recruitment exercise would be carried out.
Taking the Recruitment stuff to Court, means nothing Gud will come out dis year,
When we know how slow our Judicial process is in Nigeria (slow/ adjournment)
Well let's watch and keep the Hope alive!

To me, PDP IS THE MOST CORRUPT POLITICAL PARTY IN THE WORLD:
In terms of Recruitment, Delta state Civil service recruitment was postponed till further notice! Till today Nothing Good has come out of it. PDP state!
Nationwide NIS recruitment, to be concluded within 12weeks, till today Nothing gud has come out of it.
Foreign Affairs vacancy till today, nothing has come out of it!
SSS recruitment, Nation-wide, till today Nothing gud has come-out of it,
Ondo state Governor did Teachers recruitment Before entering PDP under 1month and some weeks!
Wat is Happening in Nigeria?
A country where soon means 1year time, where 12weeks is 12months,
Even the president can come out publicly and Lie to 700,000 youths!
I hav done the Needful in Edo state, plz those in other states, let ur voices be heard by the Federal and states Govenment!
