It happens like that, i did't see my period for 2mths, although i was in some kind of stress then, this got me worried i took several test, i did a self PT strip test, i went to hospital to for pregnancy test, they had me do a pap smear for infection. All this came out negative. Until later about a month i got a very high fever, the doctors told me i was 13wks pregnant. That my story your friend might be pregnant or not. But something will come up soon.
