I greet you bros!! Help me tap that bros....... Yes, that bros wey write this sentimental nonsense. Yes, you ... Mr. Peter Anwunah, PhD. Bros, so you want us to believe you that wrote from Durumi, Abuja more than the Benue masses who are on ground and enjoying the dividends of democracy. You want the man to eradicate all the potholes & bad roads in just 7 months? You complained that he is not releasing money for overheads and other non-essentials but you forgot that he needs all the money at his disposal to clear off backlog of salaries and pensions. Haba!!! Bros, we know who paid you to write this article. Your loyalty is not to the Benue people but to the SGF & so called Abuja politicians. You can do better next time. Brooooooosssssssssss, i greeeeeeeeeetttttt. 3 Likes

Fellow nairalanders, kindly advise me on how to go about recovering my Facebook account. On the 17th of June this year, I erroneously changed the year of birth on my account to 2021 and this inadvertently led to the suspension of my account on the premise that I was too young to use Facebook. I have tried severally to send mails to them but none is working, including sending the data page of my passport. The most frustrating challenge is that Facebook doesn’t have a way one can call or chat any of their agents up. I’m aware they have an office in Lagos but I’m too far away in the north to start traveling down all the way just to rectify my account issues. So I’d appreciate any genuine suggestions or help on ways to retrieve my account ASAP. I also won’t mind getting a contact of any of their Lagos office staff that could be willing to help. Thanks everyone. prinzcharlesng@yahoo.com |

MZEE01: Wole Soyinka receives medical attention in Nigeria. He lives this longer. our top politicians would fly out and spend millions of Naira just to get to age 75years before dying I see the words of wisdom in your response. Thumbs up. However it'll be good for you to know that Prof Wole Soyinka''s proton radiation therapy was NEVER in Nigeria. As an oncologist, i can tell you that this modality for treating cancers is not so common such that there are less than 70 of such machines in the whole world and they are located in just about 17 countries. 3 Likes |

First of all, what your colleague has isn't typhoid and can never be. All these symptoms overlap with those of several other illnesses, including yellow fever and malignancies. My suggestions: 1. Your colleague should visit another hospital where he'll be thoroughly examined, including checking all his peripheral lymph nodes for possible enlargment. 2. Let him do a full blood count + differentials and ESR test 3. Let him run a blood film for abnormal (including leukemic) cells 4. Any other unconventional investigations, depending on the discretion of the physician. NB: Let's stop assuming everything is malaria and typhoid. 6 Likes 1 Share |

We really have a big problem in our hands in this country. Imagine Mallam Shehu Garba claiming to have more facts than a former CBN governor on economic issues. When SLS made a humongous claim that NNPC under GEJ failed to remit N20 trillion or so, he had all the facts then; but now that he has spoken out against the obvious and unnecessary mortgaging of the nation by PMB's intended $29.8 billion loan, you suddenly claim he doesnt have the real facts. ARRANT NONSENSE Mallam Shehu Garba, since you claim that the TSA has more than N4.5 trillion in it, why not just use it and forget about borrowing from IMF ? OLODO GOVERNMENT. Today they ll claim the TSA has saved trillions of naira in it, tomorrow they ll deny and say: the TSA is just a channel with no money in it. |

That's the point we have all been shouting out to as many as care to listen......... The trend is simple: join APC and become a new creature whose old sins would be washed away. Who doesn't know that this whole anticorruption fight is a hoax targeted at a few opposition members just to decimate them ?? The long term effect of this would be: acquire power by all means and do everything humanly possible not to relinquish that power, if you are a politician so as to avoid being probed by the succeeding govt. Nigeria is indeed a zoo, where some animals are more equal than others. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

What a terrible news to wake up to this morning. May God grant repose to the dead and fortitude to those left behind. Meanwhile Is it not Anambra state that has a law criminalising substandard buildings and frequent collapse of infrastructure due to inferior materials ?? If the death of these 7 people and the injury to many others was due to man-made errors, then the full weight of the law should be brought to bear on all the guilty parties. |

#FoodForThought....... The media aides to PMB reacted within 24hrs to the story of him wearing N243k Gucci shoes but are yet to make any single comment as to the purported massacre of over 80 lives in Benue state by suspected herdsmen. The only remark credited to any FG agency so far is this one by the Benue state Police command claiming that ONLY a few lives were lost, without recourse to the fact that we are talking about human beings here. Imagine if we were to start a rumour today that $1 billion was found in Diezani's house, Lie Mohd and Femi Adeshina would have spoken 5 times each by now. When I look at the priorities of this current govt, I just keep weeping for my nation. |

I just hope this isn't true at all. However, just in case it is, then FG must just have to implement the recommendations of the natioral confab. The nation cannot just continue to be run like this. The system we currently operate is such that a few individuals wold just capitalise on the overbearing powers of the presidency and act in ways that are unconstitutional. How can you withdraw the security details of a sitting governor based on the pronouncement of a high court when you know he has the powers of appeal ![]() 4 Likes |

Nemo dat quod non habet. Meaning: You can't give what you don't have. It's as simple as that. The president doesn't have democracy in him, so how do you realistically expect him to be a true democrat ? He can only cause more division rather than harmony, especially with the calibre of criminals he has around him as kitchen cabinet members. These ten days that he was away, we had peace with Osibande in charge. 13 Likes |

Hmmm Of course I really don't doubt the op going by the ease at which the guys were aprehended and the speed at which they were paraded to the media, without any form of investigation whatsoever. These guys blow up pipelines despite the heavy presence of military personnel, and you come here and tell me cock and bull stories of how you arrested them like chickens. It's simple logic: pick up a couple of boys from the community with mean faces, beat them to pulp and try to intimidate them into leading you to where the real NDA guys are in the creeks. If they fail to cooperate, display some arms in front of them and tag them militants. #Simple. Tell the army to tell us another story pls. This one has failed. 23 Likes |

Gobe is when you have an insider pointing out your faults and repeating same story over and over again. Now I really know that a lot of people benefitted from loopholes in the system from the past government , thereby giving GEJ a bad name. Pls Mr. PMB , kindly probe as many as possible and make sure they all return their lots. Also try as much as you can , Mr PMB , to strengthen our anti-graft agencies so that when you are gone , the anti corruption crusade would continue unabated. Yours sincerely Tight guy. |

Now this is what I'm talking about !!! Campaigns have long been over , the reality of governance is here. The man you accused of running down the nation's economy is the same man you call for advise on how to constitute your cabinet. The same man you (as well as a few other FOOLISH nothern elders ) accused of trying to exterminate the north in the name of fighting Boko harm is the same man run to for assistance on how tackle the same insurgents. It beats my imagination how the APC have consistently accused the PDP of corruption , bad governance & looting of the nation's treasury for 16 years ; yet PMB goes back to consult Obasanjo (who was president for half of those 16years) for advise on how to propel the affairs of the nation. ![]() ![]() My people who is deceiving who ? 2 Likes 1 Share |

When you lie , u need several more lies to cover the initial lie u had lied. I recently listened to Mr LAIer Mohammed explain on Channels television how to the USA govt gave them the names and documents of those who have been stealing our resources following the last visit of PMB to president Obama at the white house. Now I really wonder who is telling the truth. U hear one thing today and another tomorrow . Make no mistakes , I , like many other good Nigerians want all those culpable in crude oil embezzlement and diversions to be brought to justice. |

Dear Mr. Daura. .... I don't think any sensible Nigerian is against the clampdown of citizens who have defrauded the nation one way or the other by the DSS. What we are however against is : 1. Lopsided delivery of justice in favour of those in the good books of APC party. 2. Undue harassment of non-party members by the DSS 3. Continuous torture and detention of RECs in states where APC was perceived to have lost elections recently meanwhile states like Yobe and Kano , where APC is in power but there is substantial evidence of massive rigging , nobody hears of DSS intervention . 4. Overzealous take over of the duties of the NPF, EFCC , ICPC , NA , FRSC , NSCDC , etc by the DSS . 5. Appointment of you Mr Daura , a retired , obviously-partisan relative of the president as head of a sensitive institution like the DSS . 6 Likes |

A part of me sees this as an evil decision by the FG . How can you grant y amnesty to a group of misinformed extremists who have succeeded in wasting thousands of innocent lives for no just cause ? Another part of me welcomes the move , albeit cautiously . After all what we all want is the return of peace and harmony , irrespective of the means by which it is achieved . However my final reaction would be based on the full details of the so-called amnesty. |
