I got an ADR 2 weeks ago for Schedule A and Family Information, which I submitted same day. However, I saw "Review Required" for my POF on the GCMS ordered in September 2018.

I want to find out if there is any possibility of another ADR or they are comfortable with the documents provided for POF?

I think AVO has less to do with POF issues, more to do with work experience concerns and maybe marriage stuffs, any issues that can require the applicant to come for an face-to-face interview to verify some details.

My landlord just served a co-tenant a letter to inform him of the increase in rent from 750k to 1.2m and the landlord has requested for 2 years payment and an additional 400k for damages. This is a tenant that moved in 2 years ago.

My D (drive) light was blinking about 2 weeks ago and I was advised to change the transmission oil which I did with Oando ATF but the check engine light came up a day (which I ignored). Yesterday night, the D light started blinking again and I decided not to drive it today.

As per Electricity: Do you have documented evidence that there was 90K debt on it? Who paid the 90K? Where are the receipts of payment?
If you can provide all the above, that amount is deductible from your rent as it is not your debt. But you need hard evidence, not "dem say".

As per outstanding rent: You used it and you will pay for it.
Now, he cannot lock you in/out because of that. He can report you or get a lien on your property before you move out, to ensure you pay his outstanding rent.
He will however need a court order to effect the lien.

The Lawyer is going beyond his bound if by his action, he is denying you your fundamental right to freedom of movement, by locking the gate on you.
Get a Camera phone and record/show evidence of that denial of right of movement. You will need it in court.

Report him at the nearest Police station (make sure it is incidented in their crime diary, even if they refuse to call him to order).
Then proceed to dismantle the gate/padlock and let him call the Police on you (or if na physical fight) one way or the other, the Police wil get involved and then proceed to court.

As per whether you must pay him before leaving or not, it depends on how your Landlord handles it.
With a court order, your property can even be sold to offset the debt.
But it will be better if both of you can come to an arrangement that is "enforceable" (signed agreement) that you will pay at a certain agreed date in the future and he can hold you legally liable if you fail to pay by that date...and also claim damages and legal expenses in addition.

I do not advocate Tenants not fulfilling their financial obligation to their Landlord neither will l as a landlord, encourage Landlord impunity.

What do I do to a lawyer that ordered the gateman (the one I pay part of his salary monthly) not to allow me pack out after he gave me a quit notice that will expire by August 31. He said I must pay for the outstanding rent (4 months) and I told him I will surely pay but at my convenience because he has inconvenienced me by giving me quit notice.

There is also an issue with PHCN bill. I met a bill of 90k which I told him about when I moved in 2 years ago and he promised to settle it but he never did. The electricity metre was (and still faulty) so the PHCN guys bring estimated bill (about 5 times what I should have been paying monthly). My co-tenants will good metre pay around 2-3k monthly (and they have more electrical appliances than I do).

Am I under any obligation to pay before leaving or pay at my convenience? Am I under any obligation to pay the excess on electricity bill due to the landlord and lawyer's negligence as regard the faulty electricity metre?
