I understand what your saying. I would be the only one to know how that child was conceived. It would be tricky ground telling the child at an appropriate age but there are ways to handle such a thing. I believe if the child is raised in a loving, positive environment it will have all the self esteem it needs to cope. Lots of things kill kids self esteem but as parents it is our job to build it up and teach them how to handle it. Kids tease no matter what, hair colour, size, etc all sorts of things kids have to deal with at school as in the real world. Its up to the parents to teach them how to handle it.

^^ I wouldnt tell anyone what to do with their life. Its her choice but me personally i wouldnt. As far as being violated and keeping it, i see it as something good out of something bad. I couldnt abort but thats just me. Ya never know, that baby may be the next Prime Minister of my country or the dude that finds a cure for cancer. Just my thoughts. If a girl asked my opinion (that has happened) I tell them but anyone who knows me knows what my answer would be before they ask but ultimately its her desicion to make. I even offered once to a friend that was thinking of an abortion that i would raise the baby. She could visit or change her mind and take it back but not to kill it. In the end she decided to keep it and she adores her son to peices. I know her well enough to know se would regret it for the rest of her life whereas others can abort without a second thought.

^^ i understand that is law as it is here too but that doesnt make it right. There are plenty of silly laws. I disagree and believe a child is a child from the moment the sperm makes contact with the egg, just my own opinion.

Plus what hasnt been mentioned here is the emotional implications of an abortion on the women. Its easy to say get rid of it to fix the problem but all that does is then create new problems than can never be made right.

I couldnt disagree more. If you are a believer as you seem to be by quoting scripture then you will understand when i say that from the moment of conception God has his hands on that child. That child has a purpose and is a miracle of life. We will never agree. I just gave my opinion. I certainly wasnt saying barren women (cant believe anyone still uses that term) use young girls to have babies, you know better than that. A baby is an innocent gift from God and has done no wrong so why kill it cos of what others have done? The focus should be on the baby not the adult. If the women doesnt want it then give it up for adoption. Plenty of people around the world would do anything to have a child but cant, so that child would bless their lives endlessly and in return the child's life would be blessed.
