Same here. NYSC camp made me appreciate freedom. It was hellish in there, esp for the introverts.
Omo! The first few days after I left, I had PTSD. That place is not for the faint hearted

Well when i camped in Umunna Bende in Abia State, we had excess light, we had excess water. Borehole functioned 24/7. Then getting cash we were charged fairly cos withdrawals was made from ATM point and not POS that is in vogue now. The camp food made absolute sense and the officials were so cool..I really enjoyed my stay in Abia State gaskiya. I intend to visit there soonest when this IPOB madness has subsided.
I camped in Umunna Bende too but I was practically counting my days there. The whole Nysc orientation camp experience was just too stressful for me.

Sometimes what is termed "Discipline'' is just the teacher being unreasonable.

Imagine a teacher flogging a child for delay in payment of school fees...Shey na the child dey pay him school fees ni.

In as much as I do not encourage indiscipline, the mode of discipline has to be reasonable.

My phone; I remember that fateful evening, I and my friends were walking back to our hostel from class when these bad boys stopped us and started threatening us. They told us that if we didn't want them to hurt us we should give them our phones and we did. Lol, I cried ehn.
