A fight broke out in the Big Brother Naija, BBNaija ‘Lockdown’ house on Sunday night with Lucy and Kaisha.

It all started after Lucy complained about a used tampon/menstrual pads found in the bathroom and blood stains on the bed at the garden.

This angered Kaisha as she confronted Lucy to stop shouting about the issue and let it be resolved among the housemates.

This did not go down well with Lucy as she became angrier and a shouting match between both housemates followed.

Eventually, they were separated by other housemates.

This is not the first time both housemates will clash since the beginning of the show.

Mbappe suffered an ankle sprain in Friday’s French Cup final win over St Etienne.

The Chairman of Ondo State All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Primary Election Committee, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, has insisted he has no power to postpone Monday’s primaries.

The Ministry of Education has provided an update on the reopening of schools in the country.

Ben Bem Goong, the Director of Press, Federal Ministry of Education, in a statement on Friday said the Nigerian government has given school owners in the country up to 29th July 2020 to meet the guidelines towards the reopening of schools in the country.

Goong also confirmed that the Ministry of Education has met with its Health counterpart and Nigerian Centre for Disease Control,(NCDC), the Education in Emergencies Working Group, and had developed and circulated guidelines for the safe reopening of schools.

The six South-West states have expressed readiness to conduct the 2020 West African School Certificate Examinations for students in the region.

The unanimous decision was taken by the six state governments at the end of an online meeting by the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria DAWN Commission in collaboration with the forum of South-West education commissioners, special advisers on education and the State Universal Basic Education Board chairmen yesterday July 14.

On WAEC examinations; State Commissioners for Education have signified readiness to sit students for the 2019/2020 WAEC examinations.

In the second instance states should directly approach WAEC to seek an extension of the WAEC Examinations to week commencing August 24.

American actor, Bryshere Gray, who played Hakeem on the Fox drama Empire, has been arrested after his wife alleged that he assaulted and strangled her until she passed out.

The incident began at about 10.15pm on Sunday night, July 12 when Goodyear Police responded to a 911 call alleging “an adult female victim had been assaulted at her Goodyear home by her husband, who she identified as Bryshere Gray, an actor on the TV series ‘Empire,’ ” police said in a statement.

Police said the woman had multiple visible injuries on her body and that she said Gray strangled her at one point, until she passed out.

Her injuries were non-life-threatening but she was taken to the hospital where she was treated for her injuries and released, police said, adding that detectives and a Victim’s Advocate “continued to assist her after her discharge from the hospital.”
