How do you handle stress because a couple of days ago, i was seriously stressed up, my head was full, chai! I just couldn’t take it anymore and i don’t like getting to that point, where so much is expected of me, and everyone is waiting for me to deliver. I don’t because it takes me a while to snap out of it. When i get stressed up, i totally shut down and my ‘wall’ comes up then I hide. I switch off every gadget around me, i go into my ‘space’ and stay silent. I can keep quiet, literally for days i wont talk to anyone. I don’t even eat. See why i don’t like getting to that point? A couple of days ago, one of the #dropit contestants mentioned that she drank Fanta, i asked her why and she said it was her "time of the month" and that after all, Fanta would help push it out for it to finish faster. Lol!

Many readers have been sending mails asking how to portion their meals to be able to lose weight. Some people send me pictures etc. Eating healthy isn't just putting together a plate of mixed fruits, or a bowl of salad. You need to portion your food to maximize weight loss.

Good morning sweets,

How una dey? So, I woke up this morning to go walk and run, the whole place looked deserted! Plus the harmattan breeze, I felt like I was in the wilderness, i just did 15 mins and went back home. The gym has kuku closed till sometime in January. Most of the small stores around have closed up for the year, it makes me feel sad somehow. I miss them sad Now i have to travel far to buy bread and co. Make una do come back ooo. “you don’t know what you’ve got till its gone” Hahahaha!

Let me officially welcome you all to the new site, yes the ministry is moving, slowly but surely by God’s grace. I have a ton of plans for the new year, 2015 and beyond. There will be loads of new things here and outside the blog. Make sure you stay tuned.

You know its not all about being slim, its about self discovery and happiness. If you haven’t discovered yourself, you haven’t found true happiness. Oh! yes, na me talk am. We will learn how to dig deep to find the true source of our being, its never too late. God put us on this earth for a purpose, so nothing must stop our happiness and growth this coming 2015. I’m not sure about you, but I am taking it by force!!

What are your plans for the new year?

I don’t really care about “New year resolutions,” all I know is that when ones makes up his/her mind to do something, that (determination) is all they need. It could be at anytime of the year, just make up your mind.

A few things to look forward to on this blog:

Weight loss challenge: Ehen, na here some people antenna go rise now. Hahahaha! They refuse to let me drink water and drop cup. Ok, we will start the challenge by mid January. I want everyone that traveled to return and settle down before we begin. I will give you the details later. But be ready, because its not going to be child’s play. Lol. We plan to have up to 3 challenges through the year.
New content: Yes, by the grace of God, there will be loads of new content here, but still in the health and beauty niche. I dont want to deviate too much. I just want you guys to feel at home here and have fun coming here.
Let me not dish out all the juicy details, just stay tuned. With God, we shall rise and conquer! Here’s a little verse from the bible for you: 1 Kings 18: 46 “Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

My prayer for you in the year 2015, May the hand of the Lord be upon you in all that you do, may you run ahead of all your enemies and rise and conquer in all your endeavors, may you run and never grow weary, may you have long life and good health to achieve all the good things you plan to do in 2015, in Jesus name, Amen, Amen and Amen. Hi y'all
You know I am into fitness and living a healthy life? Ok, in case you didn't know, I also love food, hehehehe!! I love good food ehhh. I enjoy cooking, cooking makes me happy. When I am bored, I cook, lol. Anyways, this week is Christmas week, so I would love to share some of my recipes with you(not that they are things you never knew about, am just trying to have fun, make una no vex, lol.) I will try to make them a bit healthy for us, so that we don't feel too guilty while indulging. All week is all about food, food, food, fooood and more fooood. #operationopenbelle Woohoo!!

If you are looking for simple recipes to make for the family or add to your party menu, maybe some of what you find here will attract you. Today i'm sharing Chicken pepper soup!! This dish may not be a big deal, but nne/nna it tastes like happiness! Simple and yummy!!!!


Ingredients: Will feed 4 to 6 people

1 whole chicken: I used live chicken, they taste better, they give better flavor and aroma to the dish (and I get to use all the spare parts of the chicken, hehehe) My neighbors don hear nwii! Lol!
2 tsps pepper soup spice_ground.
3 fresh native yellow pepper_ground
2 tsps of crayfish_ground
Half a hand full of Scent leave(I just cant do without this herb)
Half a hand full of curry leaves_finely chopped
1/2 tsp of thyme.
1 small bay leaf.
1 small onion_chopped
1 garlic clove_crushed and chopped
Salt and seasoning cubes to taste.

How to cook:
For a deep flavor, please please and please marinate your chicken for at least 30 mins. The more you marinate, the deeper the flavor and the chicken comes out really tasty. I allowed mine 5 hours. Use all the spices, salt, seasoning cubes, onion, garlic, pepper to rub the chicken, then stick it into the fridge till you are ready to cook. Do not add water.
Bring out the chicken, add a cup of water and cook till the chicken is well done. Biko, me I don't eat bloody chicken, I cook my meat till well done!
When its ready, add more water, about 3 cups of BOILED water and allow to simmer, then add the chopped herbs. Taste for salt and turn of the heat.
Serve with boiled plantains, yam or potatoes. I had mine with some noodles for dinner.
Heat lovers, feel free to increase the amount of pepper in the dish. #sweatisgood

I went to the doctor last week, just to do a bit of checkup. I checked my blood pressure and it was 100 over 60 which the doc told me was good, he said its because I exercise regularly (meanwhile the guy keep staring at me each time I go there, he sef shock at the weight loss, lol!), that's why it has remained so. I have maintained that rate for over 6 months now. I like to check, not that I am prone to a high blood pressure, I just want to feel safe. While pregnant, my bp was always around 120 over 80. I lost my brother due to renal failure, I'm just playing it safe.

There are many ways one can use to reduce a high blood pressure without drugs. Regular exercise is one of them. Please take out time to workout at least 15 mins a day, you'll feel fantastic! Exercise is for everyone, not just people trying to lose weight, even kids need it.

Talk to your doctor, let him/her check you and let you know what your ideal pressure should be. Stay safe and stay happy.

Ok, I have made this recipe a number of times but never shared it here (I shared some of this on the food cube). For the sake of the festive season, you might want to add this to your party menu, just to jazz things up a bit....*wink

*Moin moin with a twist.

Ingredients: This will serve 6 to 7 people. 2 wraps per person. (Basically your regular Moin ingredients)

2 cups of honey Beans
2 medium Onions, roughly chopped
200g Tatashe
2 tbsp ground Crayfish(optional)
4 small native 'yellow' pepper.
3 tbsp Canola oil (For a healthier meal, minimize the amount of oil you add)
1 tsp of paprika (optional)
1 tsp curry powder
1 hand full scent leaves_chopped (this is the main ingredient that will make a difference today)
Salt and seasoning cubes to taste.
1 medium smoked 'titus' fish_remove bones carefully.
2 eggs (optional)

Cooking Method:
Blend all the ingredients, except the spices, seasoning ,scent leaves and fish. Blend till very smooth and fluffy. Do not add too much water.
Pour in a bowl and add the chopped scent leaves, spices and seasoning.
Share into leaf wraps, (drop a small piece of fish and egg into each wrap) or plastic bowl, whichever you prefer. I prefer the leaves because it comes out tastier.
Cook for about 45 mins and turn of the heat. Allow to cool a bit before serving.
This tastes a bit different from the regular thing. If you are not sure you would like it, then make a few regular(no leaves) wraps for yourself.

Hi guys,
I posted my c.v to pwc some 3wks ago, due to the advert i saw in one of the national newspapers, i acted fast. Although they gave a 2wk altimatum. They strictly made mention of the age thing, you have to be 25yrs or younger to participate. i dont know if they are still accepting cvs, but theres no harm in trying.
