For FSW read below (which was cut from page 1) as well as FAQ 17, 26 & 27 on page 1:

Work experience does not need to match education/degree for FSW. FSW work experience is not about what you studied as a degree, but what you do/did in your job e.g. an Engineering graduate working as a barber must choose the NOC for barbers not engineers. In order to be assigned points under FSW for foreign work experience, you must have performed the actions described in the lead statement, a substantial number of the main duties, including all essential duties of your chosen NOC.

**NOC mismatch is a common reason for rejected FSW applications. Your job DESCRIPTION (i.e. the tasks you performed) must match your NOC. Your job TITLE does not need to match the NOC job titles. It is your JOB DESCRIPTION not your University degree that the Visa Officer will match to your chosen NOC. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE THE NOC DUTIES AS YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION. LASTLY THOSE MANAGERIAL NOC’S STARTING WITH 0 ARE MANAGERIAL, ENSURE YOU ARE AN OGA AND YOUR DUTIES SHOW THAT BEFORE CHOOSING THEM. ONE REJECTION STORY HAD A YOUTH CORPER CLAIMING THIS, IT DIDN’T END WELL.**

For PNP - depends on the province..... SINP requires that NOC matches your degree, others do not seem to. You need to research the requirements of each one e.g. AINP & OINP to be certain.

If you have money but most people do standard delivery . My ECA is in my inbox .they sent to us because of Covid buhahaha. If you are sending your transcript via email you don’t need courier .

While this is good , I just don’t want anyone to go through the stress of plenty explanations . Abeg make them just use CES or iqas . CES is 4 months if sent via email , 5 months via post . They have been fast since September .

My NOC is 1122 which falls under the Ontario Human Capital Priority stream. Currently my CRS is 471 which is higher than the 465-467 CRS Invited by Ontario (NOI). Is it a wise idea to rewrite IELTS so my scores can reduce and fall within the NOI CRS range? or should I forget about this given that the NOI is random and not guaranteed even if I meet all the criteria ?

Settle down and calculate all the points with work experience (1,2,3 years ) . If you have another IELTs you can explore that too . NOI is not random , they have specific NoCs that they pick and sometimes they repeat it more than twice . Check the previous draws to see the NoCs in demand to have an idea .
My friend is in the same shoes as you and she’s planning to write ielts . The only other way the score can reduce is to get LMAI ( 50 points ) then you change work experience to 1 year

Just another suggestion, if you don't mind being separated from spouse for a while. Let him land as the PA, if you are not able to land with him because of EDD. When baby comes, PA begins sponsorship from Canny for you and baby. It is also not impossible that on compassionate grounds IRCC may just reopen the app, which may be faster than sponsorship.

Another thing she can do is soft landing . If the stamped documents comes before her birth and she is due she can do soft landing and come back to take care of the the baby . Don’t know if that’s possible , but if I were in her shoes that’s what I’d explore .
This is indeed a very dicey situation and I pray God directs your path !!!

I don’t even bother replying job adverts that I did not personally apply for , it’s difficult to get jobs in Canada but it’s very possible , however you have to use the right channels . LinkedIn , job bank or accredited AIP list on IRCC . Atleast you know that AIP is for foreign workers and you can be lucky .

In all always do your in-depth research because this journey requires continuous research , and be open to learn and make corrections when you are advised .

This your plan could have worked in 2017/18 maybe but now PnP is no longer something you settle for, especially since FSW draws have been paused for a year now, PNP has become one of the only options available to most people.

Delay and point hustling has become a part of the process. With this your plan, all you'll be doing is sitting in the pool and getting older. The options available to you are maxing out your ielts, getting a higher degree, or/and learning French, 30s is not old age. Alternatively, rather than just waste your money to sit in the pool, you can also consider the possibility that Canada might not be the best fit for you and try other countries.

Or better still if he has the money he can explore schooling in Canada

Collect your certificate monthly from the bank . And yes it can be used that’s what my sister used . She uploaded her monthly certificate . She is presently in Canada

I have some questions regarding my NOC code and the reference letter I have. I was a lawyer in a law firm in Nigeria (4112). The issue I have is that the reference letter did not include going to court or representing clients. It was more of a solicitor duty. The refence letter says:

 Researched legal issues on behalf of clients in several cases with successful recommendations and useful options in the form of legal opinions and advice.
 Prepared, filed, and implemented probate/succession forms and instruments at the Probate Registry.
 Liaised with executors and administrators of estates on the endorsement of Bank certificates at Financial Institutions, assessment of estate duties, and resealing of the grant of probates.
 Prepared and drafted deeds, affidavits, and applications for rectification and loss of title documents of properties at the Lands Bureau and Registry
 Represented and advised a private company client in a merger/ amalgamation process.
 Conducted a successful Legal Due Diligence (LDD) in conjunction with the recapitalizations team of a top private company in a merger/ amalgamation process.
 Prepared and filed Corporate Affairs Commission’s forms and documents for regularization of unpaid annual returns and regularization of the shareholding/directorship of a private company

You concern should now be USD to CAD.
