Mrs M,
We must be seeing the same doctor(lool) cos that's exactly what our company doctor said, the good thing they don't take deliveries so have been referred to another hospital and they haven't said that yet,I'll ask the doctor at my ante natal tomorrow .but I have a friend that delivered her baby girl normally.she was given what they called a trial period after which they would have done Cs,and she gave birth during that time.

I guess the most important thing is that they come out fine...

Greetings to all everyone in the house

Name of hospital that wanted me to stay in a room with no light and use tv light to see and use the bathroom or rechargeable lamp is st. Catherine's ph.
They took me to another room in the pediatrics ward that had light but the bathroom was a mess and the curtains looked that those of a burial parlour, plus the noise from the children and Mosquitos were too much for me to handle.

Some of my friends have nothing but praise for them but this is my personal experience with them and I wrote that in my file when then asked me to write that I insisted on being discharged against medical advice.

I do hope their management sees this and investigates and do something about it,cause I hear a lot of their doctors are good eg dr okoye but I wasn't fortunate to meet him and this is my experience.
WHO CAN BLAME ME FOR RUNNING?

@believer....our God is truly great!
I am so happy for u(really,am doing the happy dance!!).......God will keep u and the babies.its a wonderful feeling and I pray everyone here will experience it

@olikili.......ur own is triple happy dance o,singing agidigba God(even though am Yoruba),am soooooo happy for u.

I have been silent cos have been in and out of hospitals .....the devil tried to rear its ugly head but our God is sure, started to have fever, was admitted, then it moved to diarrhea and just as we were discharged and I had barely stayed 72hrs home, started spotting.hian!!
Imagine the scare, was taken to one silly hospital where I rejected to be admitted cos they didn't have light in their private rooms and the nurse had the audacity to tell me to use thetv light or she would bing a rechargeable lamp shocked
I was furious cos the idiot wanted to put me on drip o(would have love to write their name now but I dnt want this my long letter to be hidden)when I post this,I'll do another post with just their name.i went back home, rolled on the floor and prayed with annoiting oil, went to another hospital the next morning and was admitted for 4days.IT IS WELL

Most importantly,we are fine ,hubby is home now(he wasn't around during all that).have a lot of rules to follow but I know it is well.we shall not cast our young ones before its time.

To everyone just stimming, believe it will be fine, first time miracles do happen like it did for me but if it wasn't the case,I wouldn't have stopped trying to have MY BABY.you feel good when you show love to a child, but am sure it will feel better when it's ur child.the way I felt when I saw that scan and saw my baby fine and playing after the scare of spotting, nothing can replace that feeling for me.so yes, adoption is good but never lose hope that you can have your own, never agree that u aren't meant to have children(otherwise you would have been the man!)

Believe what you want is possible for you, believe God can do it through whatever treatment you are using and if you want to,adopt a beautiful child and show her love not because you can't have yours but because you want to
Greetings to everyone in the house, blendy(mama ejima alias my in law,)omogemi,Abiby, champs, bacacious,Oviasouth and all too many to mention.love u all

Baby dust to you all

Hi everyone,
So good to see that new people are joining like me a while ago,

@blendy-no worry, the babe is yours as soon as she comes out.am glad to hear that the twins are doing fine.

I hope this our mentality about ivf will stop in naija cause a lot more people will benefit from it,I met a lady in bridge during one of their seminars and she said her hubby didn't want her to come with her baby girl cos everyone would call her ivf baby!!...imagine my shock...like even the hubby can say that.

Anyway,I put all those that are trying to God's hand, your good news is around the corner

Pslm 23,
I mean my friend's hubby too couldn't produce sperm at all,she said they had to inject and collect from the testis and this was done in bridge here in naija,ph to be precise and they have a baby gal now,so maybe u can ask them for that option.but pls take it easy and a vacation would definitely help.
God bless u dear

Hi everyone,
Am so glad I have good news but I guess i should first says little about myself.got married in 2008.didnt worry for the first year cos we had been pregnant while courting.anyway, started to think something might have gone wrong towards end of 2009.went for all kinds of tests, hubby didn't bulge at first then after a while(I think after seeing how worried I was).we started testsf full time, always me anyway.
All the hospitals said everything was fine but I wasn't convinvced,I mean why wasn't it happening.then after an HSG ,they said tubes prob.(one blocked, one hydrosalphinx).after a lot of persuasion
,hubby reluctantly agreed to ivf and then we heard we had to do ICSI cos of lots of sperm issues.

I came here and read a lot of stories and decided to use the bridge clinic in ph(cos we live in ph ) and because a friend of mine used them and has a beautiful baby gal
I posted when we did egg retrieval, haven't been here since cos be been too nervous about the result plus I was abit down cos the said I wasn't risk of OHSS.
But we had our PT on mon 16th July and am happy to say it was positive grin smiley
Am excited,can't believe it(used 6strips)
We have our scan next week,I have faith baby/babies will be growing in the right place.
I can't thank all of u enough for sharing,u all inspired me and I hope this inspires someone .
I don't know much about hospitals and which is best but we used The Bridge ph and got out positive on the first attempt using ivf/ICSI.
And above all prayers to God.
Thank u all once again for replying and welcoming me on my first post to sharing and wishing me well
I pray that God will answer us all real soon.
Baby dust to u all
Happy me!!
