Politics / Re: Fearful, Cowardly Fashola Denies Deporting People To Onitsha by tosank: 12:48am On Oct 01, 2012
Billyonaire: Its a shame that an issue of Civil Liberty has turned into tribal e-warfare in Nairaland. There is no civil bylaw that empowers any State Government in Nigeria to deport fellow Nigerians, even destitute into another state. I think Fashola is in denial because he knows its an illegal act, infact, it is the reason it was carried out in the night. It is not the first time the agents of Lagos State has done this, there is record on this Nairaland archives where people were deported to Ogun State. That being said, we need to also understand that the Lagos State is not Yoruba State, its a Cosmopolitan State with stake-holdings by Nigerians and Foreigners of all extraction. No single tribe owns or will ever own Lagos, because it is not possible to own Lagos. The rich should learn to live side by side with the poor, because without the poor, we will have no cleaners, gardeners and drivers. The Cosmic Energy created a free world, Humans decided to build borders. This is against the laws of Nature.

Motherfucker wishing Lagos was not ours! Build your land, loosers and stop coveting our land, Lagos, Ibadan or anywhere else!

Sounds too good to be true that Mr. President is assenting to National Conference, anyway. Hands are crossed.

Politics / Re: Bakassi Hoists National Flag, Sets Up Radio Station by tosank: 10:17am On Aug 10, 2012
Billyonaire: There is a local Government called Bakassi Local Government Area in Cross River State. Even at that, OBJ had no problems sacrificing a people for Oil block deals with Cameroun. Bakassi was a part of Nigeria until OBJ traded their land in exchange of Oil Blocks on the Peninsula to Cameroun. The Bakassians have been rendered homeless, refugees and Stateless for about a decade. Will we blame a free people for seeking Nationhood ? Nigerian Government disowned Bakassi and by extension its people. So, dont call it a secession, because Bakassi was abandoned 10yrs and have been state-less by any standard. From all I understand, there is nothing in Bakassi to show that Nigeria cared about them before and after the OBJ blood for Oil deal. If Bakassi had no Oil, life would have been better for them and they would have remained Nigerians. But, the Cabal that owns oil blocks, mostly Hausas wont let us be one Nation anymore. The cheating is too damn much.

Ori Obasanjo lo si ma opolopo ninu yin. Obasanjo's God will still strike most of you ignoramuses. When did OBJ sell out Bakkasi for Oil block? Was it not Gowon who had an agreement with Cameroon during the Civil War? I am tired of all these kids who would rather watch Ramsy Noah than read a book.

Yes. This goes to show that religion does not neccesarily breed division but certain cultures do. As a xtian I say thumbs up, Yoruba muslims.
Islam for Muslims / Yoruba Muslims Are So Nice by tosank: 12:15pm On Jul 18, 2012
Yoruba muslims are very nice...trust me. They are respectful, considerate and kind. A Yoruba muslim will smile when you ignorantly cast apsersion on his\her fai (except a few and even those few will fraternize with a fellow Yoruba first). They will sing christian praises along with you. How I wish all muslims are like Yoruba muslims. Lovely people.

grin grin grin
violent: Let's stop celebrating mediocrity peeps, The first iron cased metal cylinder rocket  was made in the 1780s, when technology was crude and the knowledge of physics was limited, the fact that someone repeated such a technology in Nigeria 3 millenniums later, calls for tears not applause!

The dude is impressive no doubts, the disturbing part of the bigger picture however is the fact that we believe he's impressive

Culture / Re: Do Edo (Bini) People See Themselves As Yorubas? by tosank: 3:07pm On Jun 24, 2012
Ngodigha1:
The above idiotic post is totally irrelevant. This thread has nothing to do with the Igbo and as a result, no need to mention Igbo. It shows how insecure you feel in Nigeria. What a shame.
One uninformed poster claimed edos seem themselves as yorubas and Edos came up and said no and supported by well informed nairalanders of diverse ethnic backgrounds. No need to display stupidity at a public forum. Abi them swear for you?. Nonsense.

Watch it there!
We won't tolorate ordinary omo ajeokutamamomi to talk to a bonafide Yoruba just like that! We wil soon send u people packing from Ibadan and Lagos!
Spare part sellers talking to urbanized literates!

Finally I have my answers.
If Edos are not Yoruba this thread wouldn't have attracted this breadthtaking traffic. I see now that Edos are indeed Yorubas and Yorubas, Edos.

Why is it that a few Ibos seem to be more intrested in this thread than the. Concerned gropus themselves? With all respect, I implore my Ibo brothers and sisters to excuse us as we thrash issues out with our esteemed cousins, the Edos. Thanks.
