Sports / Is Lionel Messi Overrated? by tunaxy(m): 9:20am On Oct 23, 2023
Is Lionel Messi Overrated...

This was the headline of a question I saw earlier today on Quora...

The reply by a guy called Leo Corraya was so interesting and full of sarcasm, at least in my opinion and I have decided to share it with you...

The reply starts below with the quote and end with quote:

"Messi is so overrated, I wonder how some people have the audacity to call him the GOAT!

I mean come on, what kind of player scores so many goals from outside the box? If you really want to score goals, score them from inside the box, this is how football is supposed to be played.

He is so selfish, do you know what kind of player gives away the chance of scoring a hat trick by giving a penalty to his teammates? Selfish one! I mean he just likes to be the bigger man, and always thinks of his personal glory!

Also, he is so scared of scoring goals that instead of scoring by himself, he passes them to teammates. Can you believe it? No wonder he has 300+ assists, such a disgraceful player.

He scored 91 goals in a calendar year, I mean, who does that? He is such a show-off, instead of helping his teammates, he scored them all.

He nutmegs players, this is a pure sign of disrespect. He dribbles past 5–6 players and scores, such a show-off! This is not how football is played. Besides he never does step-overs, the way he dribbles past players does not look good, I mean you have to do like 10 step-overs before you beat a player.

He has 7 Balon D’ors, and 6 European golden shoes. I mean, you are a playmaker, your job is to create chances for others, why on earth would you win the top scorer record 6 times? Disgusting.

He is the highest goal scorer in La Liga, Barcelona, Argentina, and even South America! He has no respect for legends like Ronaldo, Pele, and Maradona! He could have scored some less to show respect to the actual legends.

He has just won an international trophy for Argentina, Argentina’s first trophy in almost 30 years. Why? He is so stupid, that he refused to play for Spain for this lackluster Argentina team. He lacks prudence. I mean who refuses to play for the team that was basically another version of his great club squad?

Messi has just won World Cup while being the best player of the tournament for the record second time. Argentina was on the brink of elimination from the group stage before he shamelessly scored a stunner against Mexico to turn the table. Who does that? He missed a penalty against Poland but still was the best player on the pitch and led his team to the knockout stage. I mean, if you miss a penalty, you should ghost and play horribly, this is how we know a good footballer should react He is the first player to score in all the knock-out matches, and eventually scored twice in the final.

He ended the GOAT debate by winning 3 Internation trophies that include a World Cup in the last 2 years. What are we going to talk about now? He deprived us of the opportunity to troll him, he shut our mouths, how are we going to talk now? He is so brutal, he used magic to make it difficult for the whole world to hate him. He made many atheists turn into theists. If this is not overrated then what is?

I can go all day, in a nutshell, he is the most overrated player of all time."

Now back to you, football enthusiasts... Is Lionel Messi really overrated?

Programming / The Business Model Every Programmer Should Know by tunaxy(m): 12:34am On Nov 21, 2021
4 days ago, I wrote a post in form of discussion where I asked programmers how they make their money to help some of us that might be struggling financially despite a huge amount of skills at their disposal...

Here is the link to the previous post...

As a web developer with over 5 years experience in tech world... I have completed a lot of projects, small and large in both front & back-end but that's a story for another day.

The truth is I have struggled to monetize my skills and improve my financial freedom. It's not like I don't get paid from rendering services or working remotely, it is just not enough... at least for me, though I don't know about you. I want to be absolutely free, financially.

Not until 5 months ago, it was on Sunday evening, I was on field playing football as usual when my friend Bukky approached me and showed me a credit alert of over N250k. He said that's how much he made in just a week from this new business he is now doing.

Of course, I don't believe him, I mean this is online business and I remembered my own ordeal in anything that has to do with making money online. [Which is all absolutely bad experience]

Ok Bukky, what's this new business model? How do you do it? How can you make over N250k in just a week all at the comfort of your own home?

He looked at me and said, "The Lack Of Information Is The Reason A Lot Of People Suffer"

It's just because they don't know and they have nobody to guide them to the right path.

The business model is Affiliate Marketing !!!

For years, I have mastered a lot Of Skills and whenever I checked my account, trust me... it is not smiling at all.

But everything changed when I started this same business.

After I finished my hectic programming day, I will just pick up my phone and start pressing it, recommending different kind of products, useful and helpful product to those who need them. These products are digital products which are usually in form of Videos, PDFs, Audios etc and get paid commission for any sale. Of course, that's what affiliate marketing is all about.

And if you are thinking, what! I am a programmer, I can't do it, then it probably means your monthly income is over N750k already... so you can continue to do what you do.

The easiest thing is to go online, and google Search what affiliate marketing is all about... trust me, this business model is for everyone, no matter where you are, no matter what you do... I have seen medical doctors do it, I have seen engineers and so on.

If you are really interested in making passive income online, it won't affect your job, it won't affect your day to day activities... even if you have never make money online before... with just your phone, internet connection, and your brain... you are good to go my friend.

I have done this business, and I have been successful at it, I have even helped over 120 programmers like me to get started and they all have good things to say about it.

Making money online is not that mythical, sometimes it's about how informed you are.

It gives me so much joy to share this business model with fellow programmers.

I hope it helped.

Business / The One Business You Need To Make Money by tunaxy(m): 5:07pm On Nov 20, 2021
NOTE: This article you are about to read was not written by me. It was written by my mentor and boss, Toyin Omotoso... Nigerian Business Mogul.

There are various method you can use to make money.

Sorry...

Tens of thousands of methods to make money. But there is a fundamental truth you need to understand.

All the methods requires the ability to sell in order to be successful. Ignorant people and opportunity seekers think the magic is in the method.

So they literally jump around like a bunch of 'drunk monkeys' from one opportunity to another without facing the real problem which is the fact that they don't know how to sell.

I used to be like that too.

They jump from importation to information marketing to all sorts of network marketing and even fall into all sorts of scams.

And they cry around like little babies complaining about how nothing seems to work.

First, anyone who says information marketing does not work is just dumb or plain stupid. (I say this because most online marketers you see around make their first fortune by selling information)

These people who says nothing seems to work avoid selling because they see it as hard work, and so they paid the price by wasting a lot of time and money getting frustrated and being broke.

Some even paid for a 'done for me' business set up thinking it will help them to avoid selling.
See, people who succeed at any business either know how to sell, or they hire someone who knows how to bring in sales and customers.

If you don't have the means to hire someone who knows how to sell, then you have to learn it yourself.

Once you master the art of selling, you can use it in any industry(Programming, Tech, skills & services), and in any country.

1. You can use it to sell your ideas to company if that is what you what.

2. You can use it to sell Real Estate - a friend of mine got paid big time on 3 different occasions for creating sales materials for 3 different real estate companies here in Lagos.

3. You can be a consultant helping business to sharpen their sales process.

4. You can go online and be an affiliate selling other people's products and getting paid big commission.

5. You can create your own high powered information product and sell your way to the bank.

6. Or you can just import your own product and sell on a massive scale.

The opportunities are endless...

Instead of spending N450,000 or whatever to get a Masters' Degree that used to be valuable in the 80s', use the money to start turning yourself into a selling machine.

You can get the Masters' degree later on once you know how to sell and you are happy with your income.

Don't waste your time and money joining a network marketing company or even learn any skills if you don't plan to learn how to sell.

Don't borrow money to start a business or buy that course on Udemy if you don't know how to sell or hire someone who does.

According to wise old Ted Nicholas, "You Can Suck At Every Business Skill, Except One And Still Become A Multi-Millionaire!"
That single skill is the ability to sell.

You can hire managers, accountants etc. to handle other things in your business.

You can decide to acknowledge this truth now and start working on it or you can just flunk it and keep running around in circles for the next 3 years like most people.

So you can start learning now or wait for 3 years.

It is your choice.

Wisdom is profitable to direct.

WHERE THE MONEY IS RIGHT NOW AND HOW TO GET IT

How much is needed to live a good life in Nigeria?

By “good life” I mean living in a good environment, driving good cars, 2 travels a year, health insurance, feeding well, wearing nice clothes etc.

From my calculation which is based on someone living in a high profile part of Lagos, that will be an average of:

N550k a month for single person

N850k a month for a family of three

N1.3m a month for a family of four

There are 2 ways to afford this.

(1) It is either you have a high income job

(2) Or a high income business

A high income job is rare and difficult to get.

But you can start a high income business

This FREE REPORT written by Nigerian Digital Marketing Mogul, Toyin Omotoso reveals 5 little known but high income businesses you can start this year -

Investment / Re-ignite Your Dream Of Success by tunaxy(m): 8:16am On Nov 19, 2021
Are you really living the life you want?

I ask because up to 90% of people don't lead the life they really want.

Have you ever wondered why?

Here is the thing:

As children, we thought we could do anything.

But then you grow up...

We are getting older and more realistic...

Our dreams seem like distant memories or fantasies.

Maybe one day we mustered up the courage to pursue our dreams... but in the end we failed.

So we lost interest.

When this happens, our lives become a shadow of the intentions we once had.

In simpler terms...

We agree and settle for a mediocre life!

But this is the thing:

If you ever feel that you have made up your mind, it cannot be because of a loss of desire.

On the contrary, it's due to worry or fear!

It is your fear of doing something too late.

You are afraid of not having enough money.

It's scary not knowing how to make a positive difference in your life.

Like my mentor Reno Omokri used to say…
In life, nothing else matters. We either have reasons or we have results!

THE TIME TO MAKE A CHOICE IS NOW
You have to decide if you want to live the life of your dreams or give up and submit to the life of mediocrity. Or you can decide to go all out and achieve an ultimate lifestyle… whatever your thought about that.

Needless to say, life is short...

If you want to live these exciting dreams again, now is the time.

One more thing…

FIND A MENTOR OR IF POSSIBLE, GET HELP
If you could do it all alone, it would have happened already, isn’t that right?

So maybe you still do not have the skills, knowledge, or systems you need to build your ultimate life.

But that doesn't mean there is nobody somewhere out there to guide you and direct you on the right path.

All you have to do is get the help you need to meet your goals and give your life the change it deserves.

Sometimes, you are just an information away from the life of your dreams.

It's no problem really. I believe this might be the result of your environment growing up. Okay, instead of focusing on others, try and focus on yourself. Find yourself, I mean your inner self, what do love to do most? Focus on that one thing you love to do most and be very good at it. Then start to teach others. Don't try to compete with anyone, instead you should work on your personal development. In the end, try to make as much money as possible. Making a lot of money will make you so happy that you wouldn't even care about what's happening to others around you.

Programming / How Nigerian Programmers Make Their Money!!! by tunaxy(m): 11:58am On Nov 17, 2021
Believe it or not, programming/ coding, whatever stack you are in is an amazingly high income skill.

But I find out a lot of programmers, with the wealth of skills at their disposal still find it difficult to make money and improve their financial status in today's world.

So, let's discuss, programmers in the building, how do you make money?

Is it a high a paying job?

Freelancing?

You never know, you might be helping other programmers out who might be struggling financially to monetize their skills...

So, over to you, let's hear how you do it...
Career / Four Easy Ways To Invest Your First N100,000 by tunaxy(m): 9:59am On Nov 17, 2021
If you are struggling on how to invest your money, don't fret. I was once like that. Here are 4 easy ways on how to invest your first N100k...

1. Invest in yourself
It sounds very simple and makes common sense, but most people don't do it. They ignore their own self development and personal improvement.

The most important investment you can make so far is investing in yourself.

This is the only investment that can give you a 1000% return.

Why did I say that?

The better you are, the more money you can earn.

Anything can be stolen from you, but the investment yourself cannot be taken away.

What Many Don't Know: More money comes from skill, courage, and perseverance. The better you are, the more money you can earn.

2. Learn a high income skill
There is a difference between a well-paying job like the ones in (Shell/ Chevron/ Exxon Mobil & others...), a well-paying profession (like Medicine), and a well-paid skill (Coding/ Programming and Copywriting).

The first two require more time, training and resources. The last one can be learned in few months and the rewards are the same.

Believe it or not, there are programmers (high income people) who earn more than lawyers (well-paid professions).

My advice is to learn a high-paying skill that can help you get more money back.

Invest in courses and training. You can join my Python MasterClass, where I teach other students concepts of web development with Python.

3. Create daily streams of income.
Daily sources of income are companies that make money every day. Even 1k a day is better than nothing, or wait until the end of the month.

The most common sources of income in everyday life are selling digital products in the form of e-books, courses and videos or online training for people.

I have 3 daily streams of income. I sell digital products, conduct digital training and create business accounts for people on Fiverr and Upwork.

Invest in developing an information if you already have the skills or expertise, or reselling a working product.

For example, I paid N45,000 to learn how to produce an information product and sell them online and in just 3 months, I made more than N450,000 from that flow alone. (The good news is that I can teach you about this business model for FREE... Click the link in my signature if you're interested)

4. Start a supplementary business
A supplementary job is a job you start, using an existing business or traffic.

For example, it is very easy, if someone sells Akara, cooperate with him so that you can sell bread with them. This is just an idea.

Find out where the traffic is and take advantage of it.

This is a model I have used several times to generate passive income flow.

I hope this helped!

Business / Training Your Mind To Seeing Money Opportunities Everywhere? Find Out How by tunaxy(m): 4:05pm On Nov 16, 2021
There Is Money Everywhere!

This article is about how you can train your mind to see it .

I will start by saying if you have a tertiary education, then congrats. You have successfully trained your mind not to see money opportunities.

Unless you are from a rich family, I have found out that in most cases, people who have a degree usually have a hard time seeing “money opportunities” because they have been trained by the system to only see “job opportunities”.

I am not saying it is a bad thing.

I mentioned it because if you want to train your mind to start seeing money, you have to start by “un-training” it.
And you do that by understanding how money is made which is: All Money is Made By Somebody Selling Something to Somebody Else!

Don't argue because I will give you 2,000,000 examples to prove this single point:

A model sells her beauty.

A doctor sells his expertise.

A factory worker sells his time and minimum skills.

A test pilot sells his courage and expertise.

A prostitute sells her body (and sex skills).

Facebook, Twitter, Google sell advertising to business people.

Dangote sells Salt, Sugar, Indomie, Spaghetti and Cement to Nigerians.

Even Nigeria sells crude oil to other countries to make money.

However, the part everyone gets wrong is: DECIDING ON WHAT TO SELL.

That is because you don’t just decide on what to sell.

You let the MARKET tell you what they want.

MARKET as written above means PEOPLE.

Why do people willingly pay money for something?

They do so because they believe that what they are paying money to get will help them do any of the 2 things below:

(1) SOLVE A PROBLEM THEY ARE FACING.

(2) HELP THEM SATISFY A DESIRE THEY ARE CRAVING. For the sake of emphasis, what I am saying is this:

All money is made by someone selling the solution to a problem people want to solve or by selling a desire people crave.

However, you should also understand that: Not all problems are money makers. Not all desires are money makers.
The problems and desires that are money makers are the ones that people are willing to spend money on.

And you don't determine this.

Instead, you are to find out what these problems and desires are from people. You don't say — “I like this desire,
therefore people will be willing to pay money for it’.

If you do that, you will definitely end up in the same pit of frustration and “brokedom’” that several people before you have buried themselves in.

For example, many people will say — “I am passionate about DASH” — So, let me create a business around it. That is “horse shit.”

You should only create a business around your passion if there are other people who are willing to invest money in it.

The good thing is that as long as we are in this world, there will always be problems and desires. Some problems are evergreen and will
always be moneymakers until the end of this world.

E.g.

People will always want to lose weight.

People will always have fertility issues.

People will always have health problems.

There will always be security problems.

Also, some desires will always be evergreen.

E.g. Older people will always want to look and feel younger.

People will want to be rich.

Women will always want to look beautiful.

People will want to travel and have great experiences.

Also, as the world keeps developing, there are new problems and desires that are being created every day due to technology,
war and other things happening around us.

Solving problems can also be about how you can help people solve problems or achieve certain desires easier and faster.

E.g.

Before now, we had taxis that helped people with transportation problems. But then UBER came up with the idea of using technology
to help people make money (the Uber drivers) and also help passengers get safety and comfort while moving from one place to another.

Booking.com made it easy for people to search for and book hotels in almost anywhere in the world.

Whichever business you look at, you will see that it is about:

= Solving problems.

= Helping people get faster and easier results.

= Making results more comfortable for people.

= Helping people satisfy their desires.

Now that you understand how money is made, I am going to say this:

In order to train your mind to see money opportunities everywhere, start exercising your “money brain” by doing this:

Anytime you come across a business (online or offline) that is making money, you should ask yourself — “How is this business making money? What problem are they solving or what desire are they helping people with?”

Basically - Be On The Lookout For “Problems” & Desires!

If you do this for a while, your brain will get used to it and you will find out that you begin to easily detect problems and desires everywhere.

At that point, you will only have to find out if the problem or desire is something people are willing to pay money for — or if
there is a big enough market for it.

So, being able to identify money opportunities is the first and most important thing.

Unfortunately, a lot of people can't do this.

But then, converting that opportunity to a product or service is another thing. And selling that product or service is another thing entirely.
But it all starts with finding or identifying money opportunities.

In many cases, some people/businesses have already created products that help people solve problems or get their desires. And they are at a point where they are faced with the problem of selling their products. One of the ways I make money is by helping serious businesses solve their sales problems.

And businesses will always have that problem. That is where I come in.

I hope this helped.

Business / How To Train Your Mind To FOCUS In 5 Minutes by tunaxy(m): 7:56am On Nov 16, 2021
If you noticed that your brain has developed the bad habit of skipping important things and being unable to focus on one thing for at least 5 minutes (e.g reading an article), you need to do something very fast.

Focus is important for success, and these days, many people are suffering from an extremely short attention span and lack of focus.

What I recommend you do is that you begin to meditate for at least 5 minutes a day.

Meditate here simply means - Set your timer, close your eyes and try to think about nothing.

Of course, you will have thoughts trying to force their way in, just try to block them and focus.

If you keep at it, after a while, you will be able to meditate for at least 5 minutes.

Once you get there, increase it to 10 minutes daily.

Then 15 minutes, then 20 minutes.

I started doing this a few months ago in the morning.

I have mastered 5 minutes but yet to get to 10 minutes.

it is about mastering that part of your mind that is always itching and finding something to do.

Try it, it works.

Investment / 5 Easy Steps To Gain Financial Literacy by tunaxy(m): 4:55am On Nov 15, 2021
Your financial literacy is your ability to make financially smart decisions. You were not born financially smart or dumb; your financial knowledge or ignorance was developed over a period of time. I assume that you are not ignorant otherwise you would not be reading this. So without further ado, here are ways of gaining financial literacy.

1. Your own experience
There is no better teacher than your own experience but that does not mean you have to go ahead and make all of the mistakes it is possible to make. It is more a case of using your personal judgement based on your knowledge and the advice of others but you will make mistakes along the way; it is a part of the learning process. It is a matter of who you are going to accept advice from and whose advice to treat with a grain of salt.

2. Experience of others
The easy way to learn is from the mistakes of others. All you need to do is to keep your eyes open; many people do not do this and instead follow others like sheep. This is not necessarily the best way. In fact history has taught me that following the crowd is often the wrong way. A classic example is the share market when a stock is overvalued because so many people have jumped on the bandwagon and bought shares in that particular company because everyone else is doing it. It is young people without experience in the markets who are prone to this mistake.

It pays to go against the crowd; what this means is that you look for bargains in the markets whether it is gold, shares, property, and so forth. You do not have to experience what others are experiencing if you have the ability to assess what is a good investment and what is not.

Be prepared to listen to what the older generation has to say. Many of their opinions will be based on their own experience.

3. Books
Ignorance is no excuse as far as not being financially educated because your local library will stock books on finance. There are terrific books on finance. Some I recommend are, "Rich Dad Poor Dad," by Robert T. Kiyosaki with Sharon L. Lechter. They have several other books which are recommended reading. "How to Be Rich & Happy" by Hans Jakobi, Australia's wealth coach is another book I recommend. Hans also has several other books published, "Underground Knowledge" and "Due Diligence," are two of them. "Multiple Streams Of Income'' written by American businessman Robert G Allen is a good read. Mary Holm and Martin Hawes are other excellent financial authors.

4. The internet
There is a lot of information available online on finance and investing; a simple Google search will bring these up but like listening to your mates you have to use your own judgement when assessing the information from some sites and how it relates to your own personal situation. Martin Hawes and Mary Holm are both reputable advisors with good websites.
Also, our own Nigerian Born Toyin Omotoso is so distinctive when it comes to financial advises.
You can subscribe to his newsletters here... toyinomotoso

5. Newspapers
Most newspapers carry financial information and these are worth reading. Cut out articles that interest you; they make good reading in a year or so.

Investment / What Is A High ROI Business? by tunaxy(m): 11:06am On Nov 14, 2021
This post is about how you can grow your income to a point where you have what I call "Enough Income"

"Enough Income" is income that makes it easy for you to...

- Save

- Invest

- Pay your bills conveniently

- And still have enough to enjoy life.

But this can only happen if you are getting enough income which most people are not getting.

One major reason for this is the fact that people don't do what can give them enough income

What majority do are things like:

- SAVE: Duh! How does saving out of your little income get you more money?

- PAY TITHE: Paying tithe is good but it won't give you more money. If you like argue till now till tomorrow.

- GET a 2ND JOB: Haba! You are still riding the "income I can't control wheel" with this

- PRAY: This is a delicate one but the truth is - Prayer is a great weapon but prayer won't directly bring money into your bank account.

Many poor people pray a lot for money.

How come money is not dropping into their account?

That is because God is not a respecter of man.

Whatsoever a man sows, that he will also reap.

If you want cocoa trees to grow on a land for instance, you can pray all you like and nothing will happen until you get some cocoa seeds, plant them and nurse them.

It is the same thing with money.

If you want money, you should do what will bring you money.

What prayer will bring instead are ideas and insights that will help you if you apply them. Maybe that is why you are reading this.

The surest way I know of to get "enough income" is to start what I call a high ROI business.

What is a high ROI business?

A high ROI business is a business that is extremely profitable and doesn't require a lot of money to get started.

Majority of people don't know about high ROI businesses because they are not the type of businesses that people talk about.

PS:

5 months ago, I discovered what I think is the best way for anyone to start a profitable online business!

But you don't have to believe me.

Programming / Wordpress Or Build From Scratch, Which Is It To Be? by tunaxy(m): 8:30am On Aug 12, 2021
As a web developer, you've probably get your hands dirty building a lot of websites, whether for your own business or for others... We're talking about all kinds of websites, be it a blog, e-commerce, e-learning platform, even a static web page.

Armed with enough knowledge of HTML & CSS or a little something about bootstrap and you're sure to come up with a very beautiful static webpage, of course without a back-end functionality.

So to build a very dynamic webpage, on your own from scratch requires a lot to know, you're probably want to know a lot of fronted like react-js, HTML & CSS, coupled with technology for back-end and their frameworks, like PHP, node, Python, a lot to digest isn't it?
but which I thought might be easier if you have a team of developers working together towards the same goal.

But technology today is evolving amazingly geometrically, where even people with no previous knowledge of any programming whatsoever can own a website and manage their websites on their own, without re-inventing the wheel using various platforms like Wordpress, Drupal, Wix, Shopify, Jumla, Squarespace, Weebly, etc.

This brought us to the discussion...

As an experienced website developer, will you rather build your own website from scratch, or choose wordpress as a means for getting things done?
Programming / Why You Are Failing To Learn Programming! by tunaxy(m): 9:34am On Aug 09, 2021
Why can't most people learn to program?

Today, I want to tell you why this is so. And the mistakes people make, so that you can learn not to make them.

So if you're' learning how to be a programmer and it doesn't go very well, I'll tell you why, I'll tell you why you're not coming around and what mistakes people make so you can learn how to avoid those mistakes.

OK, let's begin, shall we?

If you are trying to learn how to be a programmer and it took more than a year, you are doing something wrong. It shouldn't take that long.

Programming is difficult now. Do not get me wrong. Difficult to Learn, It is probably one of the most difficult skills I can say exists because it is so diverse. There are many things to understand. There are many technologies that are constantly changing. There's a lot in there to learn.

But it can actually be easier to learn and very simple if you can narrow the scope down.

I have people I have trained who want to be a programmer, and many moons passed and they did not progress, they find it difficult to be successful. The main reason is that their focus is not very narrow and they are trying to learn a lot.

You spend a lot of time watching videos and doing tutorials instead of doing what developer does, building things, solving problems. Here's why: why you are getting things so wrong...

All that remains is to pay close attention to what you want in your preferred language, for example. Let's say you want a job because many of you are trying to become programmers to get a job. We are not talking about entrepreneurs or self-employed now. Let's talk if you want to find a job.

So if you want to work as a programmer, all you have to do is find out what kind of job you want. And then you know what you need to learn to get this job.

There are only two things that you need to know. What programming language is it you might want to do the job with? The second is the pyramid or stack or the industry you want to be in. You can actually choose one of them. I mean, you just have to narrow it down to a circle small enough to tell you what you need to learn.

Let's say you want to do Python - you're really interested in AI. It's cool, that's right. You can limit yourself to automation problems. There are many jobs in this field. You can see something like image processing, automated driving, web scraping, etc...

So you have to narrow it down to one programming language and then to a specific area and / or tech stack.

The job may require you to know a lot about the JavaScript frontend, the backend of Java or Python, including their scope, assuming the company is using a MySQL database, the thing is you 'll have to choose from these languages... Here you can see that there are many different things. There are many different technologies. That's why you feel so confused - and why you have yet to become a programmer.

The reason you are failing is that you are like well, I need to know all this, I do not know what job I want. I just want to start learning something. And so you start learning a little bit about this, you start learning everything. Instead, you just have to pick a very narrow focus.

There are so many programming languages that you need to be able to use a set of tools, a front-end framework, a basic programming language, and a back-end framework. In order to be able to build something, you have to be able to use these things.

I know it sounds really normal, but it's true. And once you've done that, you can learn a few more things. But all you need is a skill, a narrow focus on what you can do to build something.

Well, if you really want to test it, if you want to, and you're like, well I'll find out for myself, it's pretty easy. Here you are. Build a mobile app. Come up with something simple. Do you want some ideas? Check them out...

Here, you have 10 app ideas to build and improve your programming skills: A Rock Paper Scissors game; Chat application; Quiz Application; A memory card game; A simple to-do list application; calorie counter; Simple MVP landing page(This is a little bit advanced); A weight converter app; a random number guessing game; Blackjack simulation game.

You see, this is what you do. You do this to learn how to code. You like, well, start with a simple one. Let's start with a simple one. Let's get to the to-do list app. The user can create, edit or delete a post.

The next thing you are going to do, is to figure out how to build it. Well how do I know where to start? Well, first of all, you need to know what kind of place are you going to make it? Will you make it for mobile application or for web application? That decision has been made. Wow, very nice...

Next, what technology will you use? Which programming language? Which platform? Would you make it an Android app? Are you going to create an iOS app? Are you going to build a web application using the JavaScript framework? You can choose whichever you like.

Then you get an idea of what to learn for it, how much programming language it is needed and how to build something basic, say, a web or mobile oapp.

When I was learning web development, my first thought was: How can I actually build an app with just a blank page? Because if you can do that, you're halfway there. Then check it out, the user can create a post. So what is this? Can you make a new post? You have to think about that too. Well I need to be able to save the post somehow and can I create a new one?

So how about editing the post? Can you add some text to that post? can you delete the post? Can you delete the content of this page? Do you see what i'm saying You can become familiar with any of these tasks and just work on learning what you need to do from books, tutorials, and some other resources available to you and implement the feature you're currently working on.

And it might seem like a reverse way to learn slowly, but that's the best way because in the beginning it's going to be really hard because it's going to be, well, wouldn't it be easy if you read the whole book and learned the entire programming language and went through all the lessons?

At first yes. It seems but as you learn to create a post, it is going to be really difficult because you don't know any crap. But if you get to step two, which is learning how to edit a post. Now you will already know some things and you can mix these things up and it won't be difficult.

And by the time you get to step three, four, and step five, pretty soon you'll reach the point where you're saying I already know how to do it. I don't need to see or check it up.
Only then, you know how to program...

What programming language are you currently learning, and why are you interested in that language?

Ronaldo & Messi, I can't help but thank those two for blessing my generation with lots of entertainments, since their abilities are now dwindling, I realized I found it hard to watch football game like previous times when these monsters' amazing superhuman abilities were unmatched.

I promise to always love you both. Please, it's never enough to just appreciate one of'em, appreciate them both.
Programming / Am Too Old To Learn Programming ! by tunaxy(m): 12:47pm On Jul 09, 2021
Programming is an of alluring profession, at least to me who seems to love creativity and real word practicality that comes with web development.

My interest in programming language, most especially Python is on a high, but to be honest, I'm afraid to start the process and commit to learning it.

After spending a lot of years in school, now I'm close to 30 years of age. So I don't know how long it might take to learn Python and Django. I'm sure it'll be a little bit challenging, but I love challenges myself.

So over to you, my guru developers in the house... is (30) not too old to start learning this technologies.

I'll take all advice, or critique.
