Last year, Ugandan authorities had issued an arrest warrant for Nigerian pop star Wizkid, who cancelled a planned concert due to health reasons.
Due to his inability to perform and wow his Ugandan fans, the Daddy Yo crooner, Wizkid has announced that he would be holding free shows in Uganda this year.

Via his twitter handle, Wizkid said it would be a 2 day show to make up for last year. However, the Starboy Worldwide lead act is yet to announce dates to the event.

He tweeted saying; I’m doing free shows in Uganda this year! 2days free to make up for last time!

It is great news to announce that four of Nigeria’s best musical artistes have made it to the the top ten richest African musicians in the American business magazine, Forbes Africa. The artistes who made it to this list are Don Jazzy, Wizkid, Jidenna and Davido including other African acts such as Sarkodie, Tinashe and more.

According to the magazine, the list was compiled based on endorsement values, popularity, show rates, sales awards, YouTube viewership, appearance in newspaper, investment, social media presence etc.

Caesar Ume-Ezeoke, Eva Alordiah’s fiancé has lambasted Mavin Records artiste, Iyanya, for allegedly mocking his 15-month engagement to Eva.

In a series of tweets on his twitter handle, Iyanya derided Caesar’s 15-month engagement to Eva.

He asked how long it would take for them to seal their engagement.

Iyanya said marriage between them was overdue and assumed that Caesar was broke, saying he rushed to propose to the female rapper when he wasn’t ready financially.

“People de engage people for 15 months? Ah! If you never get bar (money) no engage person o! You wan marry her with Instagram likes”, Iyanya wrote.
In response, Caesar fired back in harsh words, declaring that Tekno was now a bigger artiste to Iyanya.

No, they didn’t fight! Adekunle Gold has confirmed to Planet TV that he is no longer under YBNL record label, because his two-year contract has expired. According to the singer, contracts are not renewed in YBNL. He said;

“My contract has expired and that’s it. In YBNL you don’t renew contract. Olamide signed us for two years, so that by yourself, you can hustle and make things happen. I don’t have my record label now, so I’m on my own for now… I don’t know about record label and I don’t have the vision to have one now.”

Looks like Hushpuppi has a penchant for trouble! Over the weekend, the Malaysia based ‘businessman’ took a photo of stacks of dollars while aboard a plane and shared it on Snapchat.

He made sure his passport was showing in the photo and later explained why. According to him, this was to deter people from stealing the photos, just like “uncle bla bla and auntie bla bla.”

Nigerians of course decoded who he was taking about – singer, Kcee and actress, Oge Okoye.

Rock Steady was bounce from coming to a particular section of the club, Oritse Femi got pissed the way his coalesce was treated,he then reacted by giving the bouncer a slap,his assistant added up by stabbing the bouncer.

Top music video director, Clarence Peters has been ROBBED of his production equipment and other belongings estimated at $60,000 in Ghana capital, Accra.

The prolific award-winning video director is currently in Ghana shooting music videos for Stonebwoy, Patoranking and VVIP’s Reggie Rockstone.

Reggie Rockstone, who confirmed the robbery incident while speaking on Accra-based Radio Gold, described it as unfortunate and a big disgrace to Ghana. He also recounted how it had happened, saying the thief had been captured on CCTV.

Clarence“Clarence brought his own camera crew, who he has been working with for years and he stayed at Alisa Hotel during the video shoot,” he narrated.

“The CCTV footage caught a young man; neatly dressed, he walked into the room and picked up the bag (of equipments)and walked out. I mean this is the creepiest thing with people still sleeping in the room. Now the footage is not too clear and we don’t know what happened in the room,”

$60,000 at current exchange rate is more than 17million naira. Clarence Peters, who is the founder and CEO of Capital hills Records, a record label that is ‘home’ to Chidinma, Tha Suspect, and Illblis.

Most people know him as the ‘Orente’ and ‘Sade’ singer but what about life before that time? YBNL’s Adekunle Gold shares his story from being known as the ‘King of Photoshop’ to serenading our ears with good music.

In his interview with NotJustOK TV, he revealed that he was initially not taken serious after he released ‘Sade’ and even his family’s reaction was less than encouraging when he started recording music.
