Africankel:

Recall I mentioned in our email exchange that tax clearance wasn't compulsory as at 2023 when I applied. I think it is now compulsory for all tourist visa applicants. My visa renewal was denied some two weeks ago - the only document I didn't submit was TCC. There's also a checklist now of all required documents that must be ticked and submitted alongside your application.

Hello, Please can you help me with the checklist for Japan visa?
Thanks

I just got my passport request
My passport is valid for only 8 months
That means if I submit it, I’ll be given 8 months Canadian visa

I proceeded to renew my passport online and immigration denied my application saying I can only renew a passport with less than 6 months validity

Please help me, I don’t know how what to do again

I’m sad and depressed

Go to one of the immigration stations close to you and have your problem solved

Yes. Do your search. Such schools exist outside the Kanto and Kansai regions. If you have plenty money, enrol in a private university. If your money is not plenty, get into a national university.

No. I don't know why our people think it is possible to convert a tourist visa to a resident visa while in the country. For Japan, a resident visa is dependent on having the COE - Certificate of Eligibility. Without it, you cannot have a resident card. Without a residence card, LIFE WOULD BE MISERABLE. I am not mincing words. The residence card is needed for everything as a foreigner residing in the country. EVERYTHING.

Since you have a registered company in China, why not look for business partners in Japan? Also, if you really want to live here as you already have your business, I would recommend the Business Manager Visa. It costs 5 million yen. Or you enrol in a Japanese language school in China, learn the language up to at least N2 then apply to a Japanese language school in Japan. The school will issue you a student visa. This is because, from previous interactions, you are above 30. No Japanese language school will admit a 30-year-old student who resides outside the country. The next issue is: after graduating from the language school, you either find a job which sponsors your visa or you start a company to sponsor your visa (back to the Business Manager Visa).

My recommendation? Apply for the Business Manager Visa from China if you really want to LIVE here.

P.S. I already replied your message. Why re-send the PM?
Thanks brother, your reply is as clear as the daylight.

Hello guys, Is there any school in Japan that would accept someone with a low Bachelor’s grade for Masters?
I really love Japan and I wish to live there.
I am presently living in China, I also have a registered LTD company here in China and I’m sure that whenever I apply for a tourist visa from China here, it will be granted but I don’t know if there will be a way to convert tourist visa to a resident visa in Japan?

Well, we are two different individuals and our goals in life will never be the same.

As per the inferiority complex you mentioned up there, I still maintain you don't even know me.

It is easy for anyone to claim anything in a faceless forum like Nairaland.

You have exhibited the same mentality an average Nigerian has that have kept you guys were you are.

I still maintain that leaving Nigeria was the best decision that ever happened to me. A salary of 2 million Naira net per month can never bring me back to Nigera.

Bro, I use to have the same thinking as you until I left Nigeria.

Like I said, there are things you will never understand until you leave Nigeria.

But my advice is, don't come as an illegal immigrant.
You are a wise man

I wanted to ask, about upfront medical, can one do it after submitting an application?
Did you raise a webform to submit it or it automatically reflected in your account?

Hello House!!!!!

I am applying for STUDY PERMIT and visitor for my WIFE and 3 KIDS.
I want them to move to Canada with me this September but I want to explain in my sop to make it look like they need the Vistor visa to visit me while in school during their holidays and my graduation.

I don’t want to mention we are travelling together in my sop with the hope that my 9, 6 and 4 years old kids will convert to study.

My question is , should I tick yes or no in the family form where they ask ( wil accompany you to canada YES or NO) and hope this idea is good.
I don’t know how strong my POF is, I have only paid for my first semester tuition of 10,000 CAD and I have 63 million naira left in my Acc

Please your input will be highly appreciated
What’s your total tuition fee before the initial payment?

Hello House, Please guys I’m thinking of a country to send my wife and kids, she’s 25 and have been working with Federal girls secondary school as a teacher for 4 years now with B.Ed, teachers license and 2.1 CGPA from UNN but the amount they are been paid does not worth the stress and hype.
Is it possible that she can secure employment in Poland as a masters student?
Can she travel to Poland with dependents?
I may not travel with them because I reside in China.
