Politics / Re: Nigerian Military Buried Shiite Members Alive- Amnesty International. by Ura: 9:54am On Apr 23, 2016
Where have Amnesty International been when residents of Zaria's rights were being violated? Are they supporting terror in societies or are they obtaining gratification from terrorist groups? If they actually lived and worked in such terror stricken areas, would their reactions still be the same? Whoever posted this should please advice them to concentrate on making the world a conducive place to live in. That would be more humanitarian.

Every day na so so arrest of kingpins yet the arrested people hardly ever look like such. If there are no sponsors, there will be no kingpins shocked. that is simple arithmetic. Baba Buhari, if you really mean the fight against corruption, why not arrest the sponsors instead

Why are some NL mod always happi abt the downfall of certain ppl in the country,,
instead them to be tackling NLC & TUC abt not protesting the lingering fuel crisis for over 3 months now,but they busy promoting saraki's case.
my question is,,will saraki case stop the pending fuel crisis, will it reduce the high cost of commodity in the mkt, will it bring steady power supply, will it stop the hardship apc govt.is subjecting Nigerians to,etc.
who cares about saraki & co,,if he looses his case na 4 him head & if he wins his case same to him head..
lets be more concerned abt the poor masses than dis selfish politician coz non of them is ready to give up their wealth for me & u.
a word is enough for the wise.

People like me care because those 90 lawyers are going to be paid from tax payers contributions. How I wish he would use that money to import fuel for Nigerians, instead of importing lawyers. undecided

Thank you my bros. I have been in this agric business for many years and I know exactly what real farmers pass through. But I think it is time for us Nairaland farmers to mobilize ourselves and solve this problem headlong. Not that we should be talking theories and supporting the government and the banking sector that are causing problems for us.
Agriculture / Re: How To Secure Agricultural Business Loan In Nigeria by Ura: 8:25pm On Nov 24, 2015
Why not tell farmers the real truth? How many small farmers have you seen accessing these loans? Only civil servants have access to them. They put farmers through so much rigour and at the end of the day, find some reason for not giving it to them.BOA is another story- if you are successful, the kind of interest you will pay... no be person go advice you against second time.

Your dreams and your goals will determine the action you need to take. You are not a black sheep. It is mere foolishness to refer to yourself as such. Successful people are just different- like they say, square peg in a round hole. If you pay attention to him, you will actually become the loser he is trying to design you to be. I am suprised that you were foolish enough to lose a contract when you had your transport fare in hand. All it would have taken is an excuse to go somewhere nearby, then you attend to your business, return, receive the usual insults and then just apologise. Our parents are Africans. We can never change their ideologies. Just develop a thick skin, remain focused and succeed at whatever your calling is. then you will see the dramatic change that will happen in your home. Be strong.

Fear God o! If all her wealth, weather legally obtained or ill gotten could heal her, she will not be a public spectacle today. Even with such examples, our public office holders still refuse to learn that public money is not for personal use. In one way or another, they must refund them.
At the end of the day, even those with underground mansions are only given space of 6 ft below earth and all the effort they put in the stealing become wasted. angry

marriedvirgin:

yes dear sex makes one look old, wasted and aged.I am talking from experience. When I was still married I looked terrible especially with bumps on my face.If you see me now I really look very young but I don't tell people my age because they would be surprised. Also, sex is a very spiritual act.People are ignorant about that and that's the reason why you see men cheating on their spouses and creating soul ties which can be devastating to their wives(negative energies).
Some people on this thread are saying this 57 year old lady is not pretty. But looking at her facial structures and features, she is really beautiful and if you work on her she would look really gorgeous. Its just that she seems not to care so much about her physical. Its funny how men of these days define beauty that's why they end up being scammed by women in make up and soon you would hear them taking women to court to protest about the women deceiving them with regards to their beauty.
The only problem I see with the lady is that she would have tried to have her kids but aside from that I don't see any other issues.Marriage is not for everybody.

I disagree with your sex theory. On the contrary, sex is supposed to be therapeutic. There are many other things associated with good looks. Here in Nigeria, we have women btw 40 and 60 who maintain their youthful look yet, they engage in sexual activity. And if she looks good on the outside, the reason she has given for being single for so long makes her look ugly inside. The spirit of unforgiveness has gotten her no where. This should be a lesson to our young ladies out there. I am not encouraging the men to cheat but it is sheer stupidity to punish yourself for someone else's offence.

Am surprised Prof Dibu could be so insensitive to the plights of the Masses.

There factors often considered when choosing a school when filling your JAMB form.

1. Cost
2. Proximity
3. Familiarity
4. Security
5. Institutions reputation
6. Academic excellence
and so on....

How can he just wake up one morning, perhaps with a dizzy eyes and start reassigning students to institutions of his choice?

including pushing prospective students to private Universities that do pay as high as 3 million naira per academic session.

How can he be making such decisions for them?

I thought PMB on the pages of newspaper asked all the heads of agencies to go, is he not part of them?

Funny Country.

He thought that every Nigerian parent has become a thief. That's why.

If not for the fact that there are factions that are not ok with the outcome of the senate leadership elections, we would never have known that forgeries also take place there. Abeg, is this governor not a part of the Boko Haram sect? Which amnesty? For people who have destroyed the future of innocent girls? People who have killed and maimed other people and rendered some orphans and destitute? Those babies that are going to be born, only God knows their fate in the society. Abeg Nigerians be on guard and be ready to impeach and ill thinking and malfunctioning government at any time. This is a very great news to me because I have seen his handiwork, and I believe that he can do even better, given the opportunity. Thank you Africans and thank you AFDB.

And I wish all Nigerians blissful four years ahead. Everywhere we sow a seed, may we reap a bountiful harvest.
For all those who stole our nation's resources, may the loot become fire upon their lives, until they return them.
For every youth that is not ready to work earnestly and sincerely, may hunger fire you until you start doing something.
And to our new leader- President Muhammadu Buhari and his team, may you make yourselves available for the Almighty to use you to show the world that even in our time, miracles are still possible. Nigerians are looking up to you for the change you promised. If you disappoint, may you be cursed because you gained power by the thumbs of the people.

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria and preserve unity and oneness among us!!

I'm typing this from my mobile phone and I am in a hurry as I have a bucket of water I need to go get, I'm hoping to get a reasonable objective advice soon.

Due to whatever reason, we had not had power supply for over a week now and our water tank has run out of water, fuel is also too expensive in my area to use the generator as I will have to turn off everything to make sure only the borehole gets electricity.

With no option at hand I had to take jerrycan and buckets to the next building where water is being sold, on getting there I found this 16-17yrs old girl as the attendant, I noticed she kept looking at me awkwardly, after filling my buckets she refused taking money from me, I insisted as I would need to fetch a lot of water. Unknown to me she has been subsidizing the amount I spend, meaning if I had fetched N100 worth she only takes N50.

Now each time I go there, she keeps looking directly into my eyes, smiling unnecessarily, and it is making me feel uncomfortable.

I don't know if I should be angry or feel sorry for her, I can't possibly go inside and report her to her parents, I have been looking for a way to caution her but each time I go to get water there are also other people there and I don't want to be unreasonably rude.

Na dis kain talk dey vex me. You no see cane nearby wey you go beat nonsense out of her and let her parents come and ask why, and at the same time explain how they trained their daughter?

If dem test their blood now, e go dey high with dope. Even look their baby eye- poor victim of circumstance. Government will not see all these types of misfits so that they can collect the baby before him or her too will become a social liability. This is a typical example of people who were raised without discipline.

To all parents out there, abeg remember to discipline your children from small before they become adults and drag your names into the mud like these drug induced psychopaths. angry
