GEJ administration marginalized AND SACKED PEOPLE TO SET OUT HIS TRIBALISTIC AGENDA

Igbo man Ike Nkeremandu, Deputy Senate President

Igbo man Emeka Ihedioha, Deputy Speaker

(Imagine that in a country with 6 geopolitical zones, one occupies the two of the 4 major National Assemby leadership positions!!)

Igbo man Pius Ayim, Secretary to the Federal Government

igbo man Godwin Emefiele is the governor of the central bank of Nigeria

Igbo woman, Finance Minister and Co-ordinating Minister for the Economy

Igbo woman petroluem Minister

Igbo man Nebo, Power Minister

Igbo man Minister of aviation

Printing and Minting - Igbo

HEAD OF DSS -Igbo

MINISTER OF Health - Igbo

Jonathan removed other tribes from head of parastatals and put Igbos there but that would be addressed now. Bureau of statistics was filled up with Igbos.

Even the Hausas/Fulanis in military have never done this above show of shame and pure tribalism. And Igbos were quiet all through that administration cos others were marginalised.

I am not Igbo o, but if we truly desire the progress of Nigeria, we must stop being tribalistic and accomodate on another. If that is how GEJ wanted to run his administration, so be it. Now he lives with the consequences. For me, I believe that the regrets he is having now are good enough punishment for him. I believe in the competence or otherwise of an individual and not his tribe. Is it at this time in history that many of you guys have not only befriended women of other tribes but also had children by them that you are still discriminating? It just sounds like a situation of someone cutting his nose just to spite his face.

This is the only person in President Jonathan's cabinet that I can vouch for. He was always with us on the farms, he always wanted to know the problems, challenges and solutions, and he always solved the problems our way. I can talk about him anytime and anywhere. Akinwumi Adesina, you too much. You more than deserve General Buhari's endorsement.

Agriculture / Re: Farmers: How Do We Manage With Labour by Ura: 7:27am On Apr 21, 2015
Why do people quarrel on Nairaland? A problem shared is supposed to be half solved and not escalated.

Nigeria has not gotten to the level of using tractors to weed. Some of our farmlands are undulating, so a tractor cannot give a very straight line during ridging. Aside from that, the tractor operators are not so trained to be that meticulous. I worked with them for several years. Majority of them just have this Nigerian mentality of "I just want to do my work and go", not caring how it turns out. Besides, with crops like maize, it might be a bit difficult to carry out.

It is normal for novice farmers to spend more than necessary because they are not yet thinking like business men but after they incur losses, they will start reasoning like correct business people. It is because of such people that I created the thread for agronomic practices because too many times, I have heard the expression "I did not know". Why repeat mistakes that others have made when you can avoid them?

As for what you incurred on clearing your land, we used to spend about N130,000.00 daily on diesel for the bulldozer when we were opening up virgin lands so I don't think that you did too badly, considering that you used manual labour. A tractor cannot uproot trees or remove tree stumps. They can bend its blades in the process. Subsequent tilling is not so expensive. all you have to do is to kill the grass and let the tractor do the rest. the grass that it will churn up during ploughing will be adding more nutrients to your farm. And you will not spend very much to achieve this.

About labour, try to look up the thread on agronomic practices. If you import scores of people for labour and you have to transport, accomodate, feed and pay them, how much profit will you be left with? Business is not done without calculations. You can negotiate with a hausa man around you to source for labour for you from his place. I believe that by the time you do your maths properly, you will not need so much labour.

Please keep up the good work. I am happy you started with 3 hectares. And the fact that you are warming up for this season means that you did a good job last year. I wish you a bountiful harvest this year.

Mr Ura, I like your posts. It is always good to hear from positive thinking people, not those who emit negative energy throughout the thread. I hate such environments which is why I have not posted in the agric section for some time now.

I have a question: I see you did not make provision for Aflasafe application. I actually want to use it for the first time ever and I was hoping you could shed some light on it. Thanks.

Aflasafe is meant to prevent aflatoxin infection in crops that are susceptible to it, including, maize, groundnut, rice and cassava. You apply it to your farm about 3 weeks before your plants start to flower. Application method is by hand spreading on the farm. Quantity needed per hectare is 10kg, at most, use 20kg. The good thing is that one application can work for several years.

I thank you for your comment and I want to encourage you to continue posting in the agric section. I am sure that even the negatively thinking people will learn from you and change their thought ways. If they were related to you by blood, would you stop interacting with them?
I wish you a bountiful harvest this farming season.
Agriculture / Re: Which One Pays Most Broilers Or Layers by Ura: 9:55pm On Apr 20, 2015
It all depends on how much you have to start with and how patient you can be. If you know that you cannot wait for too long, then start with broilers. You can use what you will be getting from it to support your layers. Anything poultry is profitable, including their dung. grin If you need more info, email me at urafola@yahoo.com.

Am really really feeling very sad n I need help plz

Please, whenever you guys ask me questions like this, kindly brief me of what you observed before it became like that. there are many causes of such problems. Sometimes the problems are from the hatchery and at other times from your farm. If you are sure that your birds are not ill, then, you have to reduce their feeding drastically for say 7-10 days. If you like, during that period, you can put them back on grower mash. The idea is to reduce their laying if possible to 0% and by extension, so that their reproductive organs can rejuvenate. After that period, you resume feeding them normally. They are expected to pick up. But if there are other issues may be ill health or they did not grow evenly, let me know. Are your birds debeaked?

Romance / Re: Are Nigerian Guys Wiser And More Knowledgable Than Nigerian Ladies. by Ura: 8:42pm On Apr 20, 2015
missclasssy:
This question has really been bothering me for quite some time. From my observation, it seems guys tend to me more versatile and knowledgeable in a lot of areas than ladies.

In public settings, you hardly find women making reasonable arguments and discussions, its just mindless chit-chats and gossip, unlike guys who argue important facets of life like philosophical concepts and politics.

I stayed in the girls hostel in school and I hardly ever witnessed a reasonable argument or discourse.
Even here on Nairaland, I have noticed the same thing. On the religion and politics section for instance, you rarely see ladies involving in intelligent discourse and arguments. Just few.

I stay in lagos and I listen to the radio a lot.
There are particular programs I enjoy listening to such as,
~ Chat station with Nelly
~Morning crossfire, both on Nigeria info 99.3.
A lot of intelligent and educative discussions on various topics are being held on these programs but you find out that 95% of the contributions are made by men.

Why is all this so?. Is it that ladies are scared to share their opinions or they just aren't as wise and knowledgeable as the guys?

My sister, na society o! Those of us who are objective and outspoken know the kind of hostilities that we face o. So as unless it becomes ABSOLUTELY necessary, we keep our opinions, ideas and contributions to ourselves. We use our intellect to develop our homes while we watch the men scatter the society with their own. No be say we dull o!

Religion / Re: Maharaj Ji Advises Buhari On How To Run His Government by Ura: 7:50pm On Apr 20, 2015
Wisedata:

BUHARI’S VICTORY, JONATHAN’S CONCEDING
AND DIVINITY’S CHOICE !
ONE LOVE FAMILY STAND – POINT.
History is always in the pendulum, and human history is replete with repetition. Nigeria, Africa, nay the World, as presently constituted, can, therefore, never be an exception, towards this homo-sapiens natural phenomenon.
In essence, from time immemorial, whenever these historical celestial events navigate, such unique occurrences are often subjected to different interpretations, within the realm of existing human understanding and comprehension, except few gifted people whom the grace has touched to be divinely conscious to reason and interpret such events beyond the ordinary, and hitherto existing human knowledge.
Nigeria, as a spring-board of the New Illuminating Light, and Leader Nation, in the emerging New-World-Order of Love, Peace and Harmony, has, always been specially and distinguishingly chosen and blessed, especially, since 1980, but, as often the case in human history, Nigerians, the real custodians of this Golden opportunity, are yet to tap to the fullest from the symbolism of physical vehicular Bridge of dispenser and Divine interventionist, having been beclouded by imagination, prejudices, sentiments, and emotion, culminating into impurities and blockade to human race.
Unfolding events in Nigeria socio-political and economic terrain, since 1980, have always been pointers to the ignorance of man, in matters of Divinity working mechanism.
The indices of war in Nigeria, in the past years, are very enormous compared to such issues that have resulted into full-scale-wars in some African, Asian, Arabian and European countries of the world, but yet, Nigeria, at every brink of going to war, always find herself stabilizing to the constant astonishment of the people of the world. The Big Question then arises; Is Nigeria more prayerful and religious than these war-ravaging countries that are, in-fact, majorly religious and prayer-warrior countries in their own ways? What then is Nigeria’s unique selling point/value?
This can only be discernable from the deep understanding of the fact that religion, in itself, is an act of binding oneself with the Creator, in the absence of physical manifestation of that Creator’s vehicular Messenger Bridge of understanding and knowledge, i.e “The Food of Life” Himself ,whose past documentary , historical account and messages of love and stability, now become the principle and guiding rules and regulations to the people, having in the first instance, out of ignorance, lost that special grace to tap fully and directly from that Creator’s physical object of devotion and spiritual guidance, whenever such Divine Master manifested physically on earth.
In essence, history is around the corner again, using Nigeria as the pedestal of that Great Light, radiating to the whole World. For instance, all the ammunitions that were brought to Nigeria, spiritually, prelude to waging war, as a result of the June 12, 1993 political debacle, were turned into bread, as earlier divinely postulated by the Great Light, in an earlier interview on Ogun State Television (OGTV), Abeokuta, sometime in August 1993, when Nigerians were running around, then, for fear of an impending war.
In the same vein, late Lybian Leader, Muammar Ghaddafi’s devilish wish for Nigeria to divide along religious line of Northern Muslim and Southern Christian, as published in the Nigerian Tribune of Tuesday, Sep. 19, 1995, was vigorously and divinely countered with the following warning statement, in a letter dated Sept. 19, 1995, with REF. OLF/PR/0202995/HSCU, to Ghaddafi by The Great Light, thus: “........ the Divine Children would wish to have an apology from Your Excellency or a clarification within fourteen days of receipt of this letter that Your Excellency, Bro. Col. Muammar Gaddafi wishes Nigeria to be one, just, peaceful, progressive, prosperous and powerful otherwise I shall have to consider as a matter of urgency the request from The Seven Elements of Creation, to stop the special privilege given to you by withdrawing the Divine Commander responsible for taking care of Libyan President, and you can imagine the untold unforeseen trepidation Your Excellency would be subjecting yourself and the good people of Libya to.” The rest is now history!
American Government earlier prediction that Nigeria would disintegrate in year 2015, was equally not without the Great Light warning, and spiritual consecration, which, thereafter, necessitated the American Government recapitulation, and retraction of such devilish words.
In essence, both the internal and external forces of negativity militating against the survival of Nigeria, as a political entity, were overwhelming, and daunting, to make year 2015 general election the platform for the battle of the titans. However, the divine peace that eventually prevailed, thereafter, was at a cost of having the choice of Divinity, and/or a full-scale war in Nigeria!
Divinity abhors act of treachery, falsehood, lies, cheating, deceit and blackmailing, with karmic reaction and dare consequences, which were the issues that were generated and characterised 2015 general electioneering campaigns, and thereafter, influenced, to a great extent, people’s choice, as against Divinity choice.
But The Great Light complexity is not susceptible to human dictate, monetary, material or physical influence, at arriving judgment or pronouncement, but the innermost qualities in individuals or group, as against the outward exhibitions. This explained the reason why despite the continuous guidance, protection and support to raise the consciousness of Nigerians and their leaders, especially leaders with little flames of love, and purity of hearts, for the past 35 years, The Great Light remains undaunted to their nonchalant altitude, and their inability to raise up hands like little children for the Great Light and loving Father to lift them up for the development/progress of Nigeria; The mission being to save souls, and not to judge, starting from Nigeria.
In a life interview on LTV and MITV, in the morning of Friday 27th March, 2015, a day preceding the Presidential Election of Saturday 28th March, 2015, questions, as regard the influx of Nigerians to their respective home towns, for fear of imminent crises and war, were posed to the Great Light, to which He responded by saying that He was going to melt the hearts of those who could be used to cause war, as a final stamp to the May 29, 1993 spiritual consecration of Nigeria as “THE NEW HOLY LAND OF THE UNIVERSE” and the Divine injunction of “NO WAR IN NIGERIA COME WHAT MAY” since August 16, 1993, by the One Love Family of Satguru Maharaj Ji.
In essence, President Ebele Jonathan, being a nucleus child of Light, whose pure heart was receptive to be melted by The Great Light, was Divinely used for such greater service of achieving the desired PEACE, not only for Nigerians, but humanity, as a whole.
In effect, there is the need for Nigerians to have pure receptive hearts to receive the Great Light. And now that General Buhari and APC party have gotten their heart-desire without blood-letting or shedding, there is therefore, the greater desire for them to move closer to the Great Light, and be following the Divine injunctions that will be given to them, from time to time, in order to fasten the achievement of the much needed DIVINE PEACE, HARMONY and PROGRESS in Nigeria, Africa and the whole World.
My Love and Blessings
Satguru Maharaj Ji
Living Perfect Master

Yes, it was. One more question...How long do your cockerels take to grow to maturity from Day Old? And do you keep them caged up throughout, or you let them roam about at a certain point?

I thought I had replied you. It takes 6 - 8 months and from about 3-4 months I have to release them within a demarcated area. I keep food there so they hardly stray far except if they see a hen nearby then they try to follow. If you keep them caged up throughout, they will fight incessantly.

Am asking this because I have a large expanse of land I wanted to use for crop farming but cassava is not it now despite it will take over 12months to mature, cocoa, palm kernel, and cashew will take years but poultry will take less. So am asking if to see if can change the plan for commercial poultry farm

Poultry is lucrative. When you are ready to start, as in, even when before you start the foundation, call me. I will guide you. Many people get it wrong from the very beginning, then they start complaining afterwards.
