old story..they have released dat since...like last two weeks....u said d standard is falling?.for ur info Med cutoff last year was 4.0...they said 4.5 dis year to make people sit tight and read to ensure dat potential first class students would be admitted to luth...last two years the cut off mark was still 4.0...dat is d reason y u see more diploma students having above 4.0 Dan putme students...not dat we re better but because we have a goal...which we have no choice but strive to achieve...so dude! d standard is'nt falling...see u at Luth..

dey pasted it on wednessday but removed it in the evening at the order of the subdean( because other faculties haven't complied there results)...some people snapped the result....out of 137 Medicine students, only 38 of us passed the minimum cgpa of 4.50...

Its no more BODMAS it is BEDMAS, were the "E"represents exponetial....and sometimes PEDMAS...where "P" represents parenthesis....the only reason why you can us "of" as multiplication is when you have of stated......of example, 10*2of 52(2+3) you use the function of "of" as multiplication............ Any way there are two approaches......using the Bedmas and using the direct line function.....direct line function is solving a mathematical question in form a number line.......assuming that numbers follow in sequence...e.g........1,2,3,4,5,.......to infinity in direct line method, all numbers follow in sequence by addition...so addition is a function that must come first............
using BEDMAS,
10+10*0+10
=10+0+10
=10+10

using direct line method.......

To all foundation students.......the foundation portal has been upgraded, and the student login link has been created....all sucessful foundation students who have payed the acceptance fee should log in and see your basic info.......you will be asked to put in your REG number/matric. Number....your mat/reg number is your application number...FDT/2012/******......your password is the one you used to print your acceptance letter...you will be asked to pay your school fee........you must pay half of the school fee, including your medical tution and i think enrollment fee.........the initial price you must pay is written there......don't be paniced if you don't see your course....the course space is currently vacant, and you can only see it after you have paid half of the money.......you are required to do your bio data capture and fill in your course......but you must pay first........to pay, go to any bank in unilag, slice out the cash, and pay the fee.........after that, log in and fill in your details....remember to go to a cyber cafe, to fill your form, one equiped with a biometric capture scanner (finger print scanner)...........i think you will need it to complete your registration....the registration is the same number with that of the postutme students (the so-called "Jambites".......(it is a really weird term i mean gosh!! Why not jambarian or Jambiscian, jambite is too.....old a term)......anyway dats all i have to say or should i say dats all i have to write for now.........

@all; please do not get me wrong oh.....if you are at least 5 marks from th lowest supplementary list, ''u stand a chance'' the term there ''u stand a chance'' does not neccessry mean u will get admitted, but ur chances are high.......it all depends on the carrying capacity and space left for the supplemmentary list..........for competitive courses like medicine, u have to be very close to the merit cut off......for non competitive courses, u have to be at least five marks from d lowest cut off. Let me give an illustration...if A, B, and C are 5, 4, and 3 marks away from the cutoff, the chances are higher for C than A. But u guys suppose to have alternatives, in case unilag fails...... By Gods grace, i hope september will bring joy to all aspariants........

do not put your hopes on the ur second choice, unilag only have the information of those who chose them as 1st choice, if u choose them for 1st and 2nd choice, then only ur database information for your 1st choice will be on there databank

@Dr T.I; first of all, nice name......i am aspiring to bear dat name, 'Dr', although i would prefare 'M.D'; Medical Doctor...............anyway let me explain something about the supplementary list............the chances of you getting your name in the admission list for competitive courses like medicine is very high if you are very close to the cutoff mark....like harboolla's case(last year, the cutoff mark for computer science was 66, my best friend had 65, and his name came out as number four on the supplementary list).....
Please note my words, ''if you are at least 5 marks away from the lowest cathement cut off, then u stand a chance''. Now what is left is the admision capacity, and your connection. The reason why it is hard for people to help students is because unilag is not the only one in charge of the admission, JAMB is a another strong factor that cross checks the students admitted....all the same do not put ur hopes up....but if u are very close, i mean very close to the cut off mark, there is nothing to worry about....u just need God's favour........
@diploma students; if u did not make ur cut off mark by 10 marks, start saving up to 900 naira for the change of course form, which they will sell soon after the admission list is released. Last year, i got 122, the cutoff mark for medicine was 137, i struggled and went through hell, that is why i am able to know some top officials in unilag. Despite the fact that my dad is a lectural, and he has a whole lot of fellow lecturer friends, they were not able to help. That is why dey addmitted me for biochem....but glory be to God, my name has been considered and i may be given medicine. @tizzie......u are close to ur cutoff.....but u should kmow that there are some people who scorced higher than u, but are not on the merit list. But i know ur name will come out for that supplementary list.....
